Ocasio-Cortez Ignites Twitter Storm After She Instantly Politicized The Synagogue Shooting

Many users on social media slammed socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Saturday after she attacked the Republican-controlled Senate and pushed for gun control in the wake of the horrible white nationalist attack on a synagogue in California, which left one person dead and three others injured.

19-year-old terrorist opened fire on innocent people inside the Chabad of Poway synagogue before being shot at by an off duty U.S. Border Patrol agent who is now said to have prevented a much worse tragedy from taking place.

Immediately after the tragic attack, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez tweeted: “Heartbroken to hear of the San Diego synagogue shooting, particularly so on this final day of Passover. We have a responsibility to love + protect our neighbors. The longer the Senate delays holding a vote on #HR8, the more we put Americans at risk.”

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez completely ignored the Easter day Islamic terrorist attacks at churches in Sri Lanka that killed hundreds of Christians, but the freshman Democrat didn’t wait long to politicized the terrorist attacks on mosques in New Zealand last month, which suggests that she only appears to weigh in on a tragedy when she can politicize it.

According to early reports, both the synagogue attack and the New Zealand mosque attacks were carried out by openly white supremacist terrorists armed with guns. The Sri Lankan church attacks were carried out by radical Islamic terrorists armed with suicide vests and car bombs.

Twitter users also didn’t wait long to reply to Rep. Ocasio-Cortez’s push for “universal background checks.”

“Bodies aren’t even cold and you’re standing on their graves to promote legislation that won’t have any effect,” Ben McDonald tweeted.

“You just embraced the anti-Semites Jeremy Corbyn and Ilhan Omar,” Hillel Neuer tweeted. “Perhaps today you should just remain silent, unless you wish to apologize for your actions.”

“Please stop trying to exploit the spilling of Jewish blood to push a partisan agenda,” AG Conservative tweeted. “Especially since you know none of the facts, the shooting happened in a state that already has strong gun control laws, and you have a history of excusing anti-Semitism.”

She went from Zero to Politics in no time,” Imam Mohamad Tawhidi tweeted.

“Can really tell how heartbroken you are by the way you’re using a targeted Synagogue shooting to push your own legislation,” Harry Khachatrian tweeted.

“Less than 3 hours since the shooting and you’re using it to push your legislation?” writer Jeryl Bier tweeted.

“She’s using Jewish blood to push a vote in the Senate,” Republican strategist Arthur Schwartz tweeted.

“Horrific indeed,” Arsen Ostrovsky tweeted. “And Members of Congress must lead by example, including condemning and speaking out unequivocally against Antisemitism – including when it is done within your own party, not excusing and defending it!”

The Blaze’s Jason Howerton tweeted: “An armed hero stopped the shooter and prevented what could have been and even more horrific loss of life. California already has draconian gun laws. How is your answer ‘more gun control?'”

It’ worth noting that Rep. Ocasio-Cortez has repeatedly defended and supported notorious anti-Semites, including Rep. Ilhan Omar, far-left activist Linda Sarsour, and British Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn.
