CNN’s Jim Acosta and White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders have been known to experience some tense moments in the press room, from time to time.
In a recent interview, Sarah Sanders made a brilliant comparison of just how difficult it is to deal with reporters like Jim Acosta.
During a Mother’s Day interview with The Daily Caller, Sarah Sanders said that being a mother herself, which requires tons of patience, helped prepare her for her role as a Press Secretary at the White House.
When the reporter asked her whether it was more difficult dealing with her children on a bad day or dealing with Jim Acosta, Sarah Sanders laughed and said, “It probably depends on the day.”
“Both of them can whine pretty regularly,” said Sarah Sanders. “They both like to ask the same questions and sometimes their tone needs to be adjusted a little bit,” she added.
Mercedes Schlapp, White House strategic communications director, drew a similar comparison: “That’s an unfair question. Sometimes I feel that there’s a connection between the children and the White House press corps.”
“They’re very demanding, both of them. And they’re very opinionated, both of them. I have great joy working with both of them. But I do find that, yes, the press corps and my children are very opinionated and very demanding.” she added.
White House senior adviser Kellyanne Conway also stated that she “would not equate the two.”
Sarah Sanders also addressed whether her children were fans of rapper Kanye West after he openly supported President Donald Trump.
“I’m not sure we are quite there yet — they love a good dance party though, so we’ll see,” she said.

Kellyanne Conway described how despite her career achievements, her “greatest blessing and privilege” was “being a mother to my four children.”
“Nothing truly compares and the one person who really knows that is Donald J. Trump,” said Conway.
“As president, he is a remarkable boss for women and for working women and I think that’s why we see so many women working in the administration.” she added.
This Sunday, President Donald Trump released a statement about how mother’s “love and courage and devotion” has helped shape this great nation.
“Through their grit, determination and incredible spirit, they pioneered the West and settled the frontier,“ he said. ”During World War II, America’s mothers helped build the greatest arsenal for democracy.”
