This Thursday, President Donald Trump received a standing ovation at National Prayer Breakfast after he defended pro-life values.
President Trump used the opportunity to reaffirm the lives of unborn children, after he condemned Virginia Democrats comments about late-term abortion.
“As part of our commitment to building a just and loving society, we must cherish the dignity and sanctity of innocent human life,” the President told attendees. “All children born and unborn are made in the holy image of God.”
The crowd erupted with whistles and applause, as they gave the President a standing ovation for about thirty seconds after his stunning remarks.
“Every life is sacred, and every soul is a precious gift from heaven. As the Lord says in Jeremiah, ‘Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart,”’ President Trump added.
Last week, the President told The Daily Caller that he found Democratic Virginia Delegate Kathy Tran and Democratic Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam’s advocacy of late-term abortion to be “terrible.”
“Do you remember when I said Hillary Clinton was willing to rip the baby out of the womb? That’s what it is, that’s what they’re doing, it’s terrible,” said President Trump.
On Tuesday, the President reiterated such sentiments in his State of the Union address and called on Congress to ban late-term abortion.
“To defend the dignity of every person, I am asking the Congress to pass legislation to prohibit the late-term abortion of children who can feel pain in the mother’s womb.” said President Trump.
The President made another wonderful and inspiring speech at the National Prayer Breakfast. May God bless our born and unborn children, and keep them safe.
