Crisis at South Border at ‘Breaking Point’ After Unauthorized Immigrant Entries Hit 12-Year High

The situation at our border with Mexico has reached a “breaking point” as immigrants coming into the U.S. illegally hit a 12-year high in February.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) stated that the number of immigrants trying to cross at the U.S.-Mexico border illegally reached a high since 2007, with 76,103 total apprehensions.

Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen M. Nielsen slammed the policies and politics surrounding open borders as the reason the American people are being “failed.”

“Our broken system endures, and the ongoing humanitarian and security crisis at our Southwest Border leaves many minors and families at extreme risk of being exploited by traffickers, human smugglers, gangs, and other nefarious actors seeking to profit at their expense. Activist courts, congressional inaction, and criminals intent on breaking our laws stand in the way of confronting illegal and uncontrolled migration threatening our safety and security.” she stated.

“What was a crisis, is now a full-fledged emergency,” Nielsen said, adding, “This cannot be a partisan issue.”

Nielsen suggested the law enforcement at the southern border is demanding the construction of a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, for laws to be strengthened, and for the proper tools and resources.

The rise of apprehensions at the southern border more than doubled in February from the following year, jumping from 36,751 apprehensions in February 2018 to 76,103 in February 2019.

The DHS reported that immigration at the border with Mexico also saw a spike in the number of groups trying to cross illegally into the United States with 70 large groups of more than 100 individuals attempting to cross in the fiscal year 2019, compared to 13 large groups the previous year.

Check out the statistics provided by the DHS below:

  • In the fiscal year 2018, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) made more than 1,500 human trafficking arrests – 97 percent of them for sex-trafficking.
  • Last year, ICE officers removed more than 10,000 known or suspected gang members already in our country illegally.
  • In the last two years alone, ICE officers have arrested 266,000 aliens with criminal records including those convicted of nearly 100,000 assaults, 30,000 sex crimes, and 4,000 homicides.
  • 20,000 children were illegally smuggled into the U.S. during December 2018, alone.

The 12-year high comes at a time when President Trump is pushing for a national emergency declaration on the border with Mexico in hopes of receiving more funding to construct physical barriers.

Unfortunatelly, he is being hit with criticism from leaders in both the Democrat and Republican Party as many seek to block his emergency declaration.

VIDEO: Terrifying Avalanche Engulfs Colorado Highway In Few Seconds

ABC News posted a video of an avalanche in Colorado that happened Sunday night.

The terrifying avalanche consumed part of Interstate 70, and the captured video is downright mind-boggling. You can see it off in the distance moments before it covers the road.

Watch the video bellow. It’s shocking to say the least.

It’s safe to say that this is one of the coolest videos that we’ve seen in a long time. It looked like it was straight up out of “Game of Thrones.”

It was almost like the Night King along with the whole army of White Walkers was coming down from the mountain.

It’s a minor miracle that nobody was hurt or injured in the avalanche. No serious issues were reported after the event.

Avalanches aren’t exactly uncommon in Montana, but this video sure is something you rarely see.

Props to everybody who remained calmed and didn’t panic. Most people wouldn’t have behaved that way.

The fact is that people out in the Rockies are just smarter when it comes to dealing with bad weather like this.

FLOTUS Starts Her Three-State ‘Be Best’ Trip In Stunning Violet-Grey Coat & Yellow Top Combo

This Monday, First Lady Melania Trump turned heads when she showed up in a gorgeous violet-grey coat with matching skirt combo for her for her “Be Best” promo tour.

First Lady Melania looked as gorgeous as ever wearing a button-up long sleeve coat that she paired with a bright yellow long-sleeve turtleneck during the first leg of her multiple-stop tour to Oklahoma, Washington state and Nevada.

Her perfect look was completed with loose hair, a violet-grey skirt and black-and-yellow plaid high heels.

During the long trip, the First Lady stopped at the Dove School of Discovery in Tulsa and met with the kids at the “award-winning elementary school that focuses on incorporating character education throughout its curriculum,” per a White House release.

During the visit, one child asked Melania where President Donald Trump was, per a pool report from her office.

“He’s in the Oval Office,” the First Lady responded.

Judging by the photos taken during the visit, a good time was had by everyone.

As we previously reported, the First Lady Melania’s trip includes the stop in Tulsa, followed by a trip to a tech company near Seattle to see “some of their programs and applications meant to teach children online safety, as well as technology innovations meant to help children with disabilities.”

At the end of her tour, the First Lady will speak at an opioids town hall being held in Las Vegas. The trip is part of her “Be Best” initiative she launched last May.

Aside from the fact that Melania Trump is the most beautiful and stylish First Lady the U.S. has ever had, we need to focus more on the good she does.

The media gives her almost no credit or attention, and Lord knows this woman has earned it.

Texas Oil Boom Town’s Economy Is So Big That Even a Barber Can Make $180,000

The Wall Street Journal reported that West Texas is one of the hottest job markets in the United States, where barbers are earning as much as $180,000 a year.

An oil boom that has taken hold over the Permian Basin is pushing the economic activity and expansion, the area can barely keep pace.

The Wall Street Journal reported that barbers in Pecos are charging a minimum of $40 for a haircut and are busy working for hours and hours.

Many schools in the regions in and around Midland are getting a hard time hiring teachers because housing prices have risen very high. WSJ reports that some districts have taken to building their own housing on school property to attract teachers to move to the area.

The thousands of oil field workers bring additional foot traffic to the area’s sparse towns and cities. It’s easy to see that many restaurants are no longer frequented by local residents.

Oil field workers line up outside before the restaurants open, and diners often close for the day because they ran out of food.

Most of the local businesses are losing their workers to higher-paying oil field jobs, leaving them hard-pressed to serve a growing base of customers.

The enormous growth in the Permian Basin oil field is symbolic of the boom happening across the American oil industry that is outpacing every experts’ predictions.

In a January report, The International Energy Agency predicted that U.S. oil production would rise by 1.3 million barrels a day in 2019, which is more than double its previous expectation.

“By the middle of the year, U.S. crude output will probably be more than the capacity of either Saudi Arabia or Russia,” the report said, meaning the U.S. will be able to produce enough oil in six months to surpass what Russia or Saudi Arabia could produce in a year.

Back in September, The U.S. passed Saudi Arabia and Russia to become the world’s largest oil producer.

First Lady Melania & POTUS Honor the ‘Legacy and Courage’ of American Women for Women’s History Month

First Lady Melania and her husband President Donald Trump are kicking off Women’s History Month with praise toward the females who left behind their “legacy” through their “courage and resolve.”

In his presidential proclamation, President Donald Trump is honoring those who “fought for equality and against the status quo, and who have broken the bonds of discrimination, partiality, and injustice for the benefit of all.”

The month of March is set to highlight the contributions of American women to society throughout history.

The President showed his pride and appreciation for the women who have made a mark in history and left behind a “legacy that continues to inspire generations of women to live with confidence, to have a positive impact on their communities, and to improve our Nation every single day.”

President Trump noted that throughout history, females managed to achieve equal rights, as they are now able to seek out education, develop businesses, serve for the country in the military, and run for elected office.

“We remember all the American women, past and present, who have inspired and empowered today’s women to advocate for their beliefs and pursue their dreams without hesitation.” said Trump.

In addition, President Trump pointed to Catherine Brewer, who was the first woman to earn a college bachelor’s degree in the U.S. in 1840, and Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell, who became the first recognized physician female in the United States and whose achievements “marked the beginning of our society’s move toward equality among men and women in education.”

President Trump’s administration clearly seeks to “empower women”:

“My Administration continues to empower women by creating unprecedented opportunities for them. The United States economy is booming like never before. An all-time record number of women are employed, and, just last year, women filled 58 percent of new jobs. … Prioritizing the economic empowerment of women has also helped to boost our Nation’s economy and security.” said the President.

Additionally, first lady Melania stated that Women’s History Month is “an opportunity for our country to celebrate our history and challenge women everywhere to continue being strong, resilient leaders in all that they do.”

Many other firsts for females were noted in President Trump’s proclamation, including the Women Airforce Service Pilots and Captain Rosemary Mariner, the first female to fly a U.S. Navy tactical fighter jet.

When Captain Rosemary Mariner died in January of 2019, she received the first all-female flyover at her funeral.

“This month, we express our gratitude for all American women who continue to strengthen our families, communities, and workforce,” President Trump concluded. “Our future is brighter because of their contributions.”

Marine Veteran Dies Alone With No One To Bury Him – Then Bikers Show Up And Grab Casket

Every heroic American who risked his life to serve his country deserves a dignified funeral. But, after a marine veteran passed away, he had no family to claim him. Then a group of bikers showed up and grabbed his casket.

Robert Krause is a Marine veteran who served his country in the 1950’s. He died in Florida with no family or relatives to claim him. Although the Florida National Cemetery holds a group service for unclaimed veterans once a quarter, that did not seem like an appropriate burial to one group of strangers who learned of his passing.

The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association did not want to see Krause laid to rest with very little acknowledgment. Instead, the group felt he should receive a proper sendoff, so that’s exactly what they did.

After their resent discovery that a dozen veterans pass away unclaimed each year in the Tampa Bay area, David Allen gathered his fellow bikers to do something in honor of men and women like Krause.

David Allen made sure the hearse carrying Robert Krause to his final resting place received a motorcycle escort from the Hospital in Tampa to the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.

“Escorting this veteran with no family to his final resting place is the last thing we can do to help him” said David.

“This is the last opportunity that, as a combat veteran myself, i have to show respect for this veteran. If it’s not for us stepping up to do this, many would go on to have a service at Bushnell with no one present,” he explained beside his fellow bikers who couldn’t agree more.

Nick Morales, a veteran of both the U.S. Army and the Marine Corps said that it is an honor to participate because no veteran should be buried alone.

“I’ve heard it said that a veteran dies twice: once on the battlefield and second time when people stop saying his name,” explained Nick for Fox 13 News.

“If there is anything we can do to prevent the latter, so be it,” he added while his voice was shaking with emotion.

God bless these great men and women for their act of kindness towards Robert Krause and many other veterans. May this Marine veteran rest in peace and may these thoughtful folks receive the applause they deserve.

This is the America that we know and love, a country full of patriots who show respect for he brave people who serve our country.

Trump Pit-stop’s in Alaska After Summit to Praise Air Force’s Incredible Patriots:’God Bless You’

As he was returning home to the United States, President Trump made a pit-stop in Anchorage, Alaska, where he addressed Air Force troops at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and praised the “brave” service members.

The President landed in Alaska for a refuel as he traveled home from the Summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Vietnam.

“I wanted to stop here to share my gratitude to every brave soldier, sailor, airman, Marine, Coast Guardsman, and National Guardsman who serves in the ‘Land of the Midnight Sun,”’ President Trump said at the Alaskan ceremony. “What a beautiful term.”

“You are a powerful warning to the world to never strike American soil,” said the President during his speech to the American troops. “You are a warning that everybody knows about and nobody wants to play with.”

President Trump gave a round of applause to Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy (R), who attended the ceremony at the base.

“He said, ‘We really appreciate that you got that done,’” the President said of his conversation with Dunleavy about the opening of the coastal plains of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to oil drilling.

“He clearly recognizes our geographic value and the strategic role Alaska serves in the defense of our nation,” said Dunleavy in response to President Trump’s appearance, according to Military Times.

President Trump shared his memories and told the service members that Alaska is a special place to him as his grandfather was there “for a long time” searching for gold.

He explained that his grandfather did not find any gold but opened hotels for the people who were still looking for gold themselves.

“I’ve always had a very special place in my heart for Alaska,” President Trump said.

President Trump praised the American troops: “To everyone here today who fights for our flag across the globe: Thank you for bravely facing down the danger to protect — and have such danger out there — the lives and liberty of all Americans.”

Our country is stronger now maybe than it’s ever been. Our military is being rebuilt at a rapid pace. Our economy is powerful. Our economy is probably as good as it’s ever been, or better.” he continued.

We thank you for your incredible service. We love you,” President Trump said in his concluding remarks. “God bless you. And God bless the men and women of the armed forces. God bless America.”

Laura Ingraham & Jim Acosta Exchange Twitter Blows After ‘NARCISSISM’ CPAC Slam

CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta lashed out on Twitter at Fox News Host Laura Ingraham after she took a swipe at him during a Thursday appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in National Harbor, Maryland.

The Fox News host called Acosta a ‘narcissist’ for making himself the center of every story.

On Thursday, Ingraham reportedly said, “Jim Acosta of CNN: he’s a nice person. He was complaining this morning on television — I know that’s not news — he was complaining that President Trump didn’t call on U.S. media at the summit presser and that he only called on the Russian and the Chinese journalists. Well, it turns out, a producer just told me he called on ABC, The Washington Post, The New York Times, Bloomberg, and NPR. But he just didn’t call on Jim Acosta. The land of narcissism knows no bounds.”

Laura Ingraham added that Acosta would “probably get a better shake from the Chinese and Russian journalists,” a reference he latched onto when formulating his Twitter response.

“Of course Laura Ingraham sides with the folks at Russian and Chinese State media. Those are her kind of people,” Acosta tweeted, along with the hashtag #PropagandistsUnited.

On Wednesday, Jim Acosta complained that President Donald Trump called on Fox News host Sean Hannity and even foreign journalists instead of him.

Fox News host Laura Ingraham responded to Acosta later via a tweet that ended with the hashtag #America United: “Of course Jim @Acosta, who mischaracterized the Trump #Hanoi presser, can’t take a joke and reacts with invective,” she posted.

“‘[My] kind of people’ includes reporters who stick to the facts and don’t need to make themselves the center of every story. Try it sometime.” she added.

During hand-off banter with Sean Hannity to begin her Thursday night show, Ingraham offered to bring Acosta some “dried seaweed and elixirs” because “I think he’s having a hard time.”

Instead of complaining, Acosta should think about why he doesn’t get called to the press briefings. It’s like he has to strive so hard to make himself feel important.

Maybe he doesn’t get the call because he doesn’t ask questions. He just makes false accusations against the president and his administration when he gets the microphone.

Acosta would do well to spend some time back in school and learn how to be an honest reporter who states the facts and does not try to make himself the news.

Melania also plans to check out a tech company near Seattle, Washington to gain knowledge about “some of their programs and applications meant to teach children online safety, as well as technology innovations meant to help children with disabilities.”

Lastly, the First Lady will speak at an opioids town hall being held in Las Vegas and participate.

Melania Trump first launched her Be Best initiative last May. In her remarks at the time, she said it was her goal through the program help children become “happy and productive adults who contribute positively to society and to their global communities.”

We hope our lovely first lady gets the credit and attention she deserves from the media. She would be most welcomed by the people of the states she plans to visit.

Woman Assaulted Man Wearing MAGA Hat At a Restaurant – Now ICE Is Looking To Send Her Packing

A woman from Falmouth who allegedly attacked a man wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat at a Mexican restaurant was apprehended Tuesday by Immigration and Customs Enforcement after authorities discovered she is unlawfully present in the United States.

CBS News reported that “Deportation officers with ICE’s Fugitive Operations Team arrested Rosiane Santos, an unlawfully present citizen of Brazil, today near Falmouth, Massachusetts,” said ICE spokesman John Mohan.

“Santos is currently facing local charges for assault and other offenses. She is presently in ICE custody and has been entered into removal proceedings before the federal immigration courts,” Mohan added.

Authorities charged Rosiane V. Santos, 41, with disorderly conduct after she attacked Bryton Turner at a restaurant in Falmouth, Massachusetts, CBS reported on Feb. 21.

Santos batted the hat off Turner’s head while he was eating dinner at Casa Vallarta and commenced verbally assaulting him, according to Falmouth Police.

He recorded some of the conflict on his phone. “I’m just trying to sit here and eat a nice meal,” says Turner in the video as Santos grabbed his Make America Great hat.

The bartender, who is of Mexican descent, said Turner was minding his own business. “The lady didn’t agree with his hat and I just kept telling her it’s alright, he’s not doing anything to me why is it even a problem,” said bartender Geo Macario.

Turner said that Santos told the bartender to poison his drink, according to The Howie Carr Show who first reported about the arrest.

“It’s just a hat at the end of the day,” Turner, 23, said after the incident, according to CBS. “I don’t really understand why people can’t just express themselves anymore, everybody has to get mad.”

ICE officials stated that “Santos is presently no longer in ICE custody, she was arrested by ICE ERO earlier today, she has been provided with a Notice to Appear that has been filed on her and she has been entered into removal proceedings before federal immigration court.”
