Chuck & Nancy Hysterically Call Barr’s Handling Of The Report A ‘Crisis’ And Demand Mueller To Testify Before Congress

For many months, the Dems wagged their fingers at the President and his supporters as he slammed the probe as a “witch hunt.” From politicians to the mainstream media, the left warned that Mueller would finally nail President Trump and now that it appears he has failed to follow the party narrative, Democrats are calling for an emergency response.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer issued a statement slamming Attorney General Barr and his “regrettably partisan handling” of the Mueller report – hours before the attorney general even held a news conference on the impending release of the report.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff issued a formal letter to Robert Mueller.

Even before the report’s release on Thursday, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler had already asked Mueller to appear before his committee “as soon as possible.”

“We cannot take Attorney General Barr’s word for it. We must read the full Mueller report, and the underlying evidence. This is about transparency and ensuring accountability,” the Democrat added.

Former Massachusetts Gov. William Weld, who just launched a 2020 primary challenge against the President, also decided to join the mob.

“Confidence in our leaders and in our institutions is at the heart of our democracy,” Weld wrote in a statement that was tweeted Thursday. “That confidence has been shaken. It is essential that Special Counsel Bob Mueller come before Congress and address the validity of his report that has been redacted and released. Is this the report he issued?”

“Are these the conclusions to which he came or has the report been altered in any way? Was he pressured to remove or change anything?” he continued.

Trump reacted in epic fashion on Thursday, slamming “radical Dems and haters” while declaring “Game Over” in a tweet.

Reactions poured in from the Democrats over the report and demanding Mueller to testify, as many noted how it will “never be enough” for the bloodthirsty Democrats.

“What you’re seeing is unprecedented desperation from the left. They went all in on a collusion conspiracy that never existed, didn’t get the result they wanted, and now they’re throwing manufactured controversies at the wall to see if anything sticks. It won’t work.” posted Mark Meadows on Twitter.

“It would be a miscarriage of justice to use cherry-picked bits of information from the report to sow further divisiveness and spread conspiracies that serve only to undermine our democratic institutions.” Rep. Jim Jordan tweeted.

“I watched AG Barr’s news conference. I’m going to read the report myself. I’m sick of this witch hunt…it’s over Nancy, give it up.” said another tweet.

“Is it perhaps too presumptuous to say that we will look back at 11:00 today, April 18, 2019, as the moment President Donald Trump won the 2020 Election?” said another.

HRC Honors Mayor Pete Buttigieg For Pushing Legislation That Restricts Religious Freedom

Even though South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg advocates for freedom in his 2020 presidential campaign bid, he apparently doesn’t believe small business owners have the right to religious freedom.

The Washington Free Beacon reported that, Buttigieg’s strong support of the Equality Act, an act pushing non-discriminatory policies against LGBTQ peoples, earned him a speech at a Human Rights Campaign event in May.

On Tuesday, The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) announced that Pete Buttigieg will speak at the HRC Las Vegas Dinner on Saturday, May 11. “A champion of LGBTQ equality, Buttigieg helped lead the fight against then-Indiana governor Mike Pence’s efforts to license discrimination against LGBTQ Hoosiers in 2015,” the Human Rights Campaign stated in a press release on Tuesday. “Buttigieg is an outspoken advocate of the Equality Act — critically important, bipartisan legislation that would finally provide clear protections against discrimination for LGBTQ people across the country.”

“Don’t let anybody tell you that the other side is the side that’s got a handle on freedom,” Buttigieg tweeted in March, “We are the party of freedom and we shouldn’t be afraid to go out there and say it.”

“We have allowed our conservative friends to get a monopoly on freedom,” says Buttigieg in the tweeted video, “Now they care about freedom, but they care about a very specific kind of freedom. Freedom from. Freedom from regulation. As though the government were the only thing that could make us unfree. But that’s not true, is it? We know that your neighbor can make you unfree.”

The South Bend mayor Pete Buttigieg doesn’t hesitate to champion the Equality Act‘s ambition to ban any kind of LGBTQ discrimination in places of business, with no regards of religious belief.

“Not aware of many same-sex couples around South Bend demanding homophobic bakers supply their weddings,” tweeted Buttigieg back in March.

“Our laws should respect the constitutionally guaranteed freedoms of every citizen,” stated Greg Baylor, director of the Center for Religious Schools at Alliance Defending Freedom, to the Free Beacon. Baylor said the Equality Act “fails to meet this basic standard.”

“This federal law would force Americans to participate in events and speak messages that violate their core beliefs,” he said. “We should reject laws that single out and punish citizens on the basis of their peacefully expressed beliefs.”

Attorney General Barr Humiliated Reporter Who Asked If He Is Trying To ‘Protect’ President Trump

Attorney General William Barr strikes back at CBS reporter Paula Reid after she suggested during Thursday’s press conference that he was going to great lengths to protect President Trump.

Paula Reid, an attorney-turned-White-House-correspondent, began by questioning whether William Barr had intentionally gone out of his way to build protections into his summary for President Trump.

“Democrats have questioned some of the process here,” Reid started. “[A] Republican-appointed judge on Tuesday said you have created an environment that caused a significant part of the American public to be concerned about these redactions.”

Then she argued that Attorney General Barr cleared President Trump on obstruction. The CBS reporter also pointed out the fact that the President is now fundraising on Barr’s comments from last week’s budget hearing when he voiced his belief that the Trump campaign was spied on.

“Here, you have remarks quite generous to the president and his feelings and emotions. What do you say to people on both sides of the aisle who are concerned you are trying to protect the president?” Reid asked.

“Actually, the statements about his sincere beliefs are recognized in the report,” Barr responded. “I’m not sure what your basis is for saying that I am being generous to the president.”

“You faced an unprecedented situation,” Reid continued. “It just seems like there’s a lot of effort to say — to acknowledge — that this was difficult — ”

“Well, is there another precedent for it?” Barr interrupted.

“No, but it’s unusual — ”

“So unprecedented is an accurate description, isn’t it?”

Attorney General Barr also noted during the press conference that he was not drawing his own conclusions, but his judgments are based on the conclusions reached by special counsel Mueller and his team. He also made it clear that he had no problem with Mueller being asked to testify in person before Congress.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said in a joint statement that Mueller must testify due to Barr’s alleged partisan handling of the report.

Democrats Have Started Rejecting Donations From Rep. Ilhan Omar

Democrats in the House of Representatives have reportedly started to reject and refund campaign donations from Rep. Ilhan Omar over her anti-Semitism scandal and her recent trivialization of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

On Wednesday, The Washington Free Beacon reported that the reelection campaign for Rep. Lucy McBath left a $2,000 contribution from Rep. Ilhan Omar off its quarterly fundraising report, and, when pressed by reporters from the Free Beacon, admitted that they left the money off the report because they decided to reject it.

“McBath’s rejection of the donation is more important than it may sound,” the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. “The Sixth District has a significant Jewish population – particularly in Sandy Springs and east Cobb County.”

On Wednesday, WSCO TV reporter Joe Bruno reported that Dan McCready also returned a $2,000 donation from Rep. Ilhan Omar.

“Dan McCready has refunded a $2000 donation from Rep. Ilhan Omar,” Joe Bruno reported. “A spokesperson for McCready tells me Dan believes there is no place for divisiveness in politics and he didn’t feel it was appropriate to accept the donation.”

“Records show McCready refunded the donation on March 30. Omar donated the $2000 on November 6,” Bruno added.

The Free Beacon also noted that Rep. Omar gave money to Reps. Haley Stevens (D-MI) and Lauren Underwood (D-IL), who both accepted and reported the money.

A third representative, Jahana Hayes, “did not disclose the contribution, but her campaign told the Free Beacon there was ‘absolutely not’ an effort to hide it and it will be disclosed on next quarter’s report,” the Free Beacon added.

Trump Slams Obama Saying That It’s ‘Hard To Believe’ He Didn’t Know What FBI Was Cooking In 2016

President Trump said Wednesday that “it would certainly be hard to believe” that former President Barack Obama was unaware of what the FBI was doing back in 2016.

The President spoke with WMAL radio host Larry O’Connor, and said that he was considering holding his own press conference on Thursday following the public release of the Mueller report.

President Trump went on to praise Attorney General William Barr, saying “he’s grabbed it by the horn.”

The conversation continued to several former Obama-era officials, most of whom are probably going to be investigated in the coming months as Attorney General Barr has pledged, and President Trump touted the fact that he had called attention to them as “one of my great achievements, actually.”

President Trump also shared his strong opinions when it came to whether or not ex president Obama was aware of what the FBI was doing.

“How is it possible that he didn’t know?” he asked. “I mean, we’re talking about pervasive, horrible things that were happening.”

“It would certainly be hard to believe that he didn’t know what was going on,” President Trump concluded.

Attorney General Barr and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein are expected to release the Mueller report and give a press conference Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. EST.

Kamala Harris Cheers Christine Blasey Ford For Landing On TIME’s Top 100 List: ‘She Risked Everything’

TIME magazine’s Top 100 list was published on Wednesday and two of the picks probably never thought they would end up on the same list for anything.

Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford — who accused him of sexual assault last year — were recognized by TIME, though for two very different things.

The Top 100 list had many separate categories and Kavanaugh made the influential leaders list while Ford made the cut in the icon category.

2020 Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris wrote about Christine Blasey Ford for the magazine and she delivered nothing but praise for the woman who accused Kavanaugh of sexual assault — an FBI investigation cleared Kavanaugh of any wrong doing and he was later confirmed to the Supreme Court.

“Her story, spoken while holding back tears, shook Washington and the country. Her courage, in the face of those who wished to silence her, galvanized Americans. And her unfathomable sacrifice, out of a sense of civic duty, shined a spotlight on the way we treat survivors of sexual violence,” Harris wrote about Ford.

Kamala Harris went on to say that Ford “risked everything” to tell share story with the Senate Judiciary Committee last year.

“Christine Blasey Ford’s ambition wasn’t to become a household name or make it onto this list. She had a good life and a successful career — and risked everything to send a warning in a moment of grave consequence,” wrote Harris.

Kavanaugh’s section had words from Sen. Mitch McConnell. The senator called Kavanaugh one of the “most qualified Supreme Court nominees in modern history.”

He went on to say that Americans witnessed Kavanaugh’s “resilience” when “unhinged partisanship and special interests” tried to distract the public before the judge could be confirmed to his current position.

“The country saw his resilience and commitment to public service,” said McConnell. “We saw his loyal devotion to family and friends. We saw his undeterred reverence for the law, for precedents and for our nation’s highest traditions.”

The left wing criticized TIME for recognizing Christine Blasey Ford and Brett Kavanaugh on the list.

Hollywood actress, activist and Democrat donor Jessica Chastain wrote on Twitter that it was “so disappointing” to see Ford and Kavanaugh recognized on the same list.

“You put her on the same list as the man she said assaulted her. So disappointing,” the actress wrote.

“Imagine making Time’s 100 Most Influential People list because you accused a prominent man of sexual assault, and then finding out he is on the same list. How many ways can we keep re-traumatizing Blasey Ford?” wrote another Twitter user in reaction to TIME’s unusual list choice.

Another congratulated Ford and other left-wing figures like Ford making the list and then said, “I am sorry you have to all share this list with Donald Trump and Brett Kavanaugh!”

Rep. Tlaib Claims That She Feels ‘More Palestinian In Congress’ Than American

The halls of Congress are where many Americans feel more American due to the weight of their decisions affecting every citizen on our soil.

Yet for Rep. Rashida Tlaib it doesn’t do that. For her, being in Congress makes her feel more Palestinian than American.

“But I’m more Palestinian in the halls of Congress than I am anywhere in the country, in the world…” Rep. Rashida Tlaib claimed at the Michigan Coalition for Human Rights on Sunday.

“You know myself, Ilhan [Omar], and all of us, we watch that people are policing what we say,” she told the audience.

“What do you mean by that Rashida? Do you condemn this?’ I was like, ‘I don’t know, did you condemn that?” she said.

“Honestly, I never felt more Palestinian than I ever felt in Congress. Even in Palestine when I’m visiting my grandmom I’m more American,” she said.

“But I’m more Palestinian in the halls of Congress than I am anywhere in the country, in the world,” she claimed.

“And that just tells you, just the fact that they weren’t ready for us, they really weren’t. But we were ready for this,” she added.

Many conservatives on social media were outraged about Rep. Tlaib’s remarks.

“Shouldn’t those who SERVE our American government only feel American?” said one tweet.

“Sounds like she is breaking her oath of office, not that oaths mean anything to the likes of her.” said another.

“I thought you were American. If you refer to yourself as Palestinian, then your allegiance is not to America and have no right to serve in Congress.” and another.

Open Borders Mayor Bill De Blasio Claims He Will Sue President Trump If He Ships Illegal Immigrants To His Doorstep

New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio is ready to take President Trump to court if he ships thousands of illegal immigrants to his doorstep.

The Democrat mayor who has touted New York City as a “sanctuary city” decided not to joining his liberal colleagues across America in opening their arms to potentially thousands of illegal immigrants who are currently overwhelming Customs and Border Protection facilities.

“It’s illegal. It is just plain illegal. We will meet him in court. We will beat him in court,” de Blasio claimed Monday, according to the New York Post.

“I remember vividly the day the Trump administration, when he said he was going to cut our security funding because we did not ask for documentation status, because we would not cooperate with everything ICE was doing,” the progressive mayor said. “We said we would go to court to stop it and we did.”

His comments were in response to a post by President Trump earlier on Monday about transporting the detained migrants to so-called sanctuary cities.

“Those Illegal Immigrants who can no longer be legally held (Congress must fix the laws and loopholes) will be, subject to Homeland Security, given to Sanctuary Cities and States!” tweeted Trump.

Trump appeared to confirm a report from last week that his administration had attempted to alleviate crowding at detention centers by releasing detained illegal immigrants into “sanctuary cities,” and his suggestion that the proposal was still valid enraged liberals through out the country.

Democrat mayors of many cities in America challenged President Trump to bring it on, even if Bill De Blasio threatened with a lawsuit.

Many “sanctuary cities” including Los Angeles, Cambridge, Massachusetts, Burlington, Vermont, Portland, Oregon, and Hartford, Connecticut also put out their welcome mats. But New York City’s de Blasio accused the President of using illegal immigrants as “chess pieces” as he threatened to sue the administration over the proposed policy.

Attorney General Barr Checkmates Asylum Seekers With Blocking Catch & Release Policy

Attorney General Bill Barr is blocking one of the methods used by illegal immigrants to get into the United States.

The Daily Caller reported that the decision was announced on Tuesday which says that illegal immigrants who demonstrate a “credible fear” when apprehended trying to enter our country, will no longer be eligible to be released on bond, even if they have requested asylum.

Barr’s decision was titled Matter of M-S-, overrules a 2005 Board of Immigration Appeals decision and comes from a Department of Justice review in October 2018 of bond hearings for immigrants who are seeking asylum.

The Immigration and Nationality Act states that illegal immigrants who establish credible fear “shall be detained for further consideration of the application for asylum” or may be “parole[d] into the United States . . . for urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit.”

When this is the case, immigrants can be paroled under the jurisdiction of the Department of Homeland Security or held indefinitely until they can appear before an immigration judge.

“The Act provides that, if an alien in expedited proceedings establishes a credible fear, he “shall be detained for further consideration of the application for asylum,” Barr’s decision Tuesday read. “I order that, unless DHS paroles the respondent under section 212(d)(5)(A) of the Act, he must be detained until his removal proceedings conclude.”

Barr’s decision effectively blocks the path commonly used by illegal immigrants trying to get into our country using the court system, even though 80% of asylum cases at the southern border do not ultimately lead to entry into the U.S., according to former DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.

This will end the so-called catch-and-release system which may be indirectly funding the Central American migration.

The law, which will not be implemented for 90 days because the DHS needs time to decide who will be released, should give illegal immigrants the incentive to apply for asylum legally at the ports of entry using formal process, rather than attempt to sneak past Border Patrol agents.

Ocasio-Cortez Slammed PM Netanyahu Calling Him ‘A Trump-Like Figure’ And Suggested Cutting US Investments Into Israel’s Military

Last Sunday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez criticized Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, calling him “a Trump-like figure.” In an interview to the Yahoo News “Skullduggery” podcast, Ocasio-Cortez added that Netanyahu’s re-election is a part of “the ascent of authoritarianism across the world.”

When asked if she believes that Netanyahu’s talk about annexing parts of the West Bank should affect the United States policy towards Israel, the congresswoman responded: “I think so,” and said that “conversations are happening in our caucus.”

Ocasio-Cortez also gave a surprising answer to the question if she would support a move to cut military or economic aid to Israel when answered: “I think it’s certainly on the table.”

Last Friday, four of the most active supporters of Israel among House Democrats issued a rare public statement, warning from a possible move by Israel to annex the West Bank.

the four, Rep. Eliot L. Engel, chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Rep. Nita Lowey, chairwoman of the House Committee on Appropriations, Rep. Ted Deutch, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs subcommittee on the Middle East, North Africa, and International Terrorism and Rep. Brad Schneider, signaled that Democrats would oppose annexation, creating a potential confrontation in the future between the Israeli government and pro-Israel Democrats in Congress.

“As strong, life-long supporters of Israel, a US-Israel relationship rooted in our shared values, and the two-state solution, we are greatly concerned by the possibility of Israel taking unilateral steps to annex the West Bank,” the four stated. They called for direct negotiation and reaffirmed their support for the two-state solution.

In an interview on Friday, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that Prime Minister Netanyahu’s talk about annexing parts of the West Bank won’t heart President Donald Trump’s upcoming peace plan.

When asked if he thinks that Netanyahu’s vow to annex the West Bank might hurt the pursuit of peace by CNN’s Jake Tapper, Pompeo responded: “I don’t. I think that the vision that we’ll layout is going to represent a significant change from the model that’s been used.”

Pompeo also added that “we’ve had a lot of ideas for 40 years; they did not deliver peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians. Our mission set is to put forward a vision. Ultimately, the Israelis and the Palestinian people will have to make this – resolve this for themselves.”

During the last days of his reelection campaign, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that he will consider annexing parts of the West Bank after the elections. The White House remained silent on that issue so far.

Mike Pompeo didn’t provide new details about the plan, but told Tapper that the administration’s vision to peace is “different” and “unique,” and that it would be a vision “that tries to re-frame and reshape what’s been an intractable problem that multiple administrations have grappled with, multiple administrations in Israel as well. We hope that we can get to a better place. Everyone wants this conflict resolved. We want a better life for the Israelis without this conflict, and we certainly want a better life for the people of – the Palestinian people, both in the West Bank and in Gaza.”
