Trump Walks Out On CPAC Stage – The Crowd Went Wild After What He Did To The American Flag

This Saturday, President Trump took the stage at the 2019 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) by embracing the American flag as “God Bless the USA” played over the speakers.

The President was introduced by American Conservative Union chairman Matt Schlapp, who praised the Trump administration’s accomplishments and praised Trump for not acting like a politician.

As President Trump took the stage, he immediately approached the American flag and hugged it with a smile on his face.

The President then took a lap around the stage and grinned over the crowd before stepping up the microphone to begin his speech.

President Trump was confirmed to be speaking at the annual political conference in National Harbor, Maryland despite spending several days this week in Vietnam at a nuclear summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

He returned early from the summit after being unable to reach a deal regarding sanctions and denuclearization of North Korea.

Matt Schlapp complimented President Trump for still committing to speaking at the conference despite just recently returning to the United States after his international diplomatic trip.

‘Pawn Star’ Host Unloads On ‘Stupidity of Socialism’ at CPAC: It’s ‘Like Heroin’

History Channel’s “Pawn Stars” TV Host, Rick Harrison, took on the Conservative Political Action Conference and delivered a speech against socialism while using a simile for what it’s like.

During the event on Thursday, the outspoken conservative Harrison, spoke on “the stupidity of socialism.”

The TV Host is a strong vocal supporter of President Trump, as he told TheWrap recently, “Yeah I’m a Trump guy.”

The “Pawn Star” host used a simile to describe what socialism would be like in the United States.

“The majority [of] people in this room know that socialism is just stupid,” Harrison told the audience during his speech.

“It’s literally like heroin. The first shot is great. For a little bit it’s wonderful, but then the rest of your life is a living hell. And that’s literally what the socialists are doing.” he said.

“Once you give someone something it’s hard to take it away … then you get Venezuela,” Harrison later added.

As Fox News reported, Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) also delivered a speech at CPAC where he knocked President Donald Trump’s former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, a day after Cohen’s hearing with the House Oversight Committee.

Meadows, along with Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), slammed Michel Cohen with another perjury referral on Thursday.

While talking to the CPAC attendees, Meadows rebuked Democrats for allegedly “trying to lay the foundation” to impeach President Trump and added, “It’s taking away everything that is foundational of who we are.”

Mike Pence Explains 2020 Election As Referendum On Socialism:’That’s The Choice We Face Today’

Vice President Mike Pence condemned the Green New Deal and the Democratic initiatives of Medicare for All and sought to frame the 2020 presidential campaign as a referendum on socialism.

“Under the guise of Medicare for All and a Green New Deal, Democrats are embracing the same tired economic theories that have impoverished nations and stifled the liberties of millions over the past century. That system is socialism,” said the Vice President, per his prepared remarks shared with The Daily Caller.

Vice President Mike Pence continued, “the truth is, we want people to make poor people richer, they want to make rich people poorer. We want to make poverty more rare; they want to make poverty more comfortable. That’s the choice we face today: between freedom and socialism, between personal responsibility and government dependence.”

The Vice President pointed out to Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ candidacy, saying, “remarkably, a leading candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination is an avowed socialist.”

“And it’s not just him,” said Pence. “Bernie’s been joined by a chorus of candidates and newly elected officials who have papered over the failed policies of socialism with bumper-sticker slogans and slick social-media campaigns.”

Pence’s refrain comes days after he returned from a trip to South America, where the U.S. is trying to facilitate a transition of government in Venezuela.

The United States is confronting Venezuelan dictator Nicholas Maduro and officially recognized National Assembly leader Juan Guaido as the legitimate leader of the country.

The Vice President has become one of the major forces within the administration shepherding Latin America policy. He announced new sanctions on the Venezuelan regime while in Bogota, Colombia and criticized the Maduro government for blocking humanitarian aid supplies.

Pence recalled one of President Trump’s Warsaw speech in which he queried whether “the West has the will to survive,” declaring “as we gather together here today, we must ask our movement the same question.”

As the president said that day, “Do we have confidence in our values to defend them at any cost? Do we have enough respect for our citizens to protect our borders? Do we have the desire and the courage to preserve our civilization in the face of those who would subvert and destroy?”

Even CNN’s Van Jones Can’t Ignore That ‘Conservatives Are Leaders On Criminal Justice Reform’

This Thursday at CPAC, left-wing CNN analyst Van Jones praised american conservatives for leading the way on criminal justice reform.

As National Review reported, CNN analyst Van Jones appeared alongside CPAC chairman Matt Schlapp and touted the bi-partisan criminal justice reform package that President Donald Trump signed into law this last December.

The bill, which will essentially loosen some of the criteria for inmates to participate in early release programs, has been generally backed by libertarians as well as many on the right.

Here’s what Michelle Malkin stated on this subject at the time of the bill’s passage:

The package of criminal justice reform proposals endorsed by President Donald Trump is not “soft” on crime. It’s tough on injustice. And it’s about time.

Known as the “First Step Act,” the legislation confronts the Titanic failure of the federal government’s trillion-dollar war on drugs by reforming mandatory minimum sentences, rectifying unscientifically grounded disparities in criminal penalties for crack vs. powder cocaine users, and tackling recidivism among federal inmates through risk assessment, earned-time credit incentive structures, re-entry programs and transitional housing.

There’s nothing radical about giving law-breakers who served their time an opportunity to turn their lives around and avoid ending up back behind bars. More than 30 red and blue states have enacted measures to reduce incarceration, control costs and improve public safety. Texas — no bleeding-heart liberal mecca — spearheaded alternatives to the endless prison-building boom a decade ago by redirecting tax dollars to rehab, treatment and mental health services. The Lone Star state saved an estimated $3 billion in new public construction costs while stemming the prison population tide.

Van Jones not only praised american conservatives for passing the bill, but actually pointed out that conservatives in deep red states have enacted impactful criminal justice reform.

“The conservative movement in this country, unfortunately from my point of view, is now the leader on this issue of reform,” he said. “You look at Mississippi, a rock-ribbed, total conservative former jailer is now the governor. Governor Bryan cut the prison population and crime at the same time. [Governor Nathan] Deal in Georgia cut the prison population and crime at the same time. . . . What you’re seeing now is Republican governors being tough on the dollars. Tough on crime and shrinking the prison population.”

“You are stealing my issue,” Jones admitted. “Take some dadgum credit for being smart. Take some dadgum credit for getting it right.”

Jones also asked for some bi-partisanship, stating that America needs its right-wing as well as its left-wing in order to function.

I’ve never seen a bird fly with only one wing,” Jones said, according to Mediaite. “We need each other.”

However, not everything Van Jones said went well with the conservative audience. He even drew some boos when he said, “undocumented immigrants right now have a lower crime rate than the rest of us.”

Jones worked closely with White House aide Jared Kushner and the Trump administration to help get the First Step Act passed through Congress.

Trey Gowdy Unloads On Dems for Asking Cohen to Testify:‘It Shows How Far Congress Has Fallen’

Former House Oversight Committee Chair Trey Gowdy slammed the House Democrats for asking President Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen to testify before Congress, despite the fact that he is heading to prison for the last lies he told Congress.

This Wednesday, Cohen delivered his public testimony, and while he was brought in to provide information on the accusations that Donald Trump colluded with the Russians as part of his campaign back in 2016, Cohen mostly delivered on character attacks of the president, instead of offering insight to his dealings with people from Russia.

During a Fox News interview, Trey Gowdy explained that he believes House Democrats brought in Michael Cohen, despite his convictions, to tie President Trump to campaign finance violations, rather than the stated goal of gathering information on Russia.

“Collusion. That’s what started this entire investigation. That’s the seminal question and that’s the one thing Michael Cohen’s been consistent on. In October of 2017, he said there was no evidence of a conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia. And he said it again today, but Democrats don’t want to hear that. They don’t want to hear that so now they want to move to an FEC [Federal Elections Commission] violation.” said Gowdy.

As Gowdy noted, Cohen denied that the President colluded with the Russians, however, he did try to tie Trump to Wikileaks via Roger Stone.

He claimed that President Trump was told by Stone that Julian Assange of Wikileaks was preparing to leak Hillary Clinton’s emails. Stone denies that he ever spoke to Assange.

Anyway, Trey Gowdy said that none of this matter simply because, even if it did happened, President Trump didn’t break any law.

“I’d be careful doing this, but let’s assume that Michael Cohen is telling the truth. What crime was committed?” Gowdy asked. “What crime is it listening to Roger Stone say, ‘I think Wikileaks is about to do what they tweeted they were going to do and dump a bunch of documents.’”

Gowdy explained that the entire testimony can be seen as a joke because Congress is the only body that considered Cohen a viable witness.

The Former House Oversight Committee Chair noted that both the Southern District of New York and Special Counsel Robert Mueller declined to use Cohen as a witness.

“The fact that Congress would allow someone that no real, serious investigation considers a witness to come and be their star witness shows how far Congress has fallen, and it breaks my heart to say that,” said Gowdy. “I care about the institution. But to call a convicted perjurer as your first witness was stunning to watch.”

Lindsey Graham Says ‘Trump Rattled North Korea’ With His Peace-Through-Strength Policy

Republican South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham praised President Trump for his peace-through-strength policy toward Kim and North Korea.

Wednesday night, during a conversation with Fox News host Sean Hannity during President Trump’s second meeting with Kim, Graham said that Trump “rattled North Korea” because they believed rightly that the U.S. President would have used force “if he had to.”

“Why is Trump meeting with North Korea when North Korea wouldn’t meet with anybody else?” Graham rhetorically asked. “I think President Trump rattled North Korea. I think they believed that President Trump would use military force to stop their nuclear missile program if he had to.”

“He took them seriously and Trump’s giving them a way out. Chairman Kim, if you’re smart, you’ll take the way out given to you by President Trump. If you’re actually trying to play the guy, you’re going to regret this effort.” he continued.

In response to Hannity’s contention that we were just “one, two, or three rockets away” from a “major escalation” between the two countries, Graham summed up his own conversations with President Trump throughout the process.

“The fire and fury rhetoric was sincere,” said the South Carolina senator. “The North Koreans believed that if they fired another missile they were going to get attacked. They were going to get attacked. And here’s what I would say. The president’s giving them a chance to maintain their security, increase their prosperity, and in return he wants them to give up their nukes.”

“This is the last best chance for peace. If this doesn’t work, we’re not going back to the status quo. So everybody in America and the world should pray for a good outcome here. But the reason that Kim is at the table, he believes that Trump is hell-bent on stopping him one way or the other. And the best way is a win-win.” he added.

The two then compared President Trump’s progress now, to the Obama administration’s policy and progress with Iran and Ronald Reagan’s negotiations with the former Soviet Union.

The ended the segment with speculation on how the media would react if President Trump managed to win the Nobel Peace Prize.

“A world in which Donald Trump gets the Nobel Peace Prize is probably more dangerous in the eyes of the liberals than North Korea having nukes,” Graham said.

Dennis Rodman Wrote an Amazing Letter Addressed to President Trump

Through out the years, many people considered Dennis Rodman as a controversial figure, some maybe thought he was a little bit out there.

But after reading the letter he just wrote to the President, this man earned the appreciation of conservative Americans all over the state.

Here is the letter Dennis Rodman wrote to President Trump:

FROM THE DESK OF DENNIS K. RODMAN

February 27, 2019

President Donald J. Trump

Dear President Trump:

I write today as your Ambassador of Goodwill to North Korea. As your staff is aware, based on our discussions, you have my continued and strong commitment to assisting in your talks with North Korea.

My continued friendship with Chairman Kim remains strong-a friendship I encourage you to continue to use for our Nation’s benefit. While I will not be able to attend the Hanoi events, I plan on following up with you, your team and my friend, Chairman Kim.

I look forward to talking after this next summit ends. We have a lot of work to do, but with your diverse team, amazing global contacts and willingness to think outside the box, we can have peace on the Korean Peninsula. We really can.

You are on the cusp of a big, beautiful deal. One that would make you the front runner for a Nobel Peace Prize without question. You have my forever and forever support!

Mr. President and Chairman Kim, I wish you nothing but the best of luck on this second historic Summit… God Bless.

Friends always!

Dennis Keith Rodman

The letter was posted Thursday, on Rodman’s official Twitter profile.

The retired professional basketball player received many praises on social media for his lovely letter. His support for President Trump and his administration is admirable.

This classy man did not hesitate to praise the President over what he has accomplished with Kim and North Korea, which is far more than any other President in history.

VIDEO: President Trump Opens Up On Michael Cohen at Press Conference

This Thursday, President Trump unloaded on his former lawyer Michael Cohen following his hearing with the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday, calling it “pretty shameful.”

When the President was asked about Cohen’s claims at the hearing that Trump was a con man, liar and a racist, he responded by saying: “Well, it’s incorrect and it’s very interesting because I tried to watch as much as I could. I wasn’t able to watch too much because I’ve been a little bit busy.”

“But I think having a fake hearing like that and having it in the middle of this very important summit is really a terrible thing,” Trump continued. “They could have made it two days later or next week and it would have been even better. They would have had more time.”

“But having it during this very important summit is sort of incredible, and he lied a lot,” said the President. “But it was very interesting because he didn’t lie about one thing: he said no collusion with the Russian hoax. I said I wonder why he didn’t lie about that too like he did everything else. I mean he lied about so many different things, and I was actually impressed that he didn’t say, ‘Well, I think there was collusion for this reason or that.'”

“He didn’t say that. He said no collusion,” President Trump added. “I was a little impressed by that, frankly. He could have gone all-out. He only went about 95% instead of 100%.”

The President then briefly turned the subject away from Cohen and focused on talking about the Russia investigation and the impact that it has had on the country.

“The fact is, there is no collusion, and I call it the witch hunt,” said President Trump. “This should never happen to another president. This is so bad for our country, so bad. You look at this whole hoax, I call it the Russian witch hunt, I now add the word hoax, it’s a very, very bad thing for our country.”

“But I was impressed with the fact that he — because the most important question up there was the one on collusion — and he said he saw no collusion,’ he said. “So we’ll see what happens. But it was pretty shameful, I think.”

The President also retweeted a tweet he posted on Wednesday, which stated: “Michael Cohen was one of many lawyers who represented me (unfortunately). He had other clients also. He was just disbarred by the State Supreme Court for lying & fraud. He did bad things unrelated to Trump. He is lying in order to reduce his prison time. Using Crooked’s lawyer!”

Michael Cohen was attacked by many politicians after his hearing on Wednesday for allegedly making false claims, which even CNN called him out over.

During the hearing, Cohen claimed that he never wanted to work in the White House, a claim that was quickly refuted by both CNN and multiple people who were close to the administration.

“I think the issue there is that one sentence: ‘I did not want to go to the White House.’ All of our reporting suggests that’s not true,” CNN’s Jake Tapper said.

CNN’s Dana Bash also noted that everyone “witnessed this in real time that this president probably more than any other, if he wants somebody in the White House, they’re there.”

“You know, Reince Priebus and John Kelly probably didn’t want Omarosa to be working in the White House and other people, but they were there because the president wanted it to be so,” Bash continued. “So if Michael Cohen and the president really wanted it to happen, more importantly the president, it would have happened and he wanted it.”

GOP Rep Slams Cohen Hearing Calling it ‘Waste of Time’ and ‘Another Political Game’ to Discredit the President

Michael Cohen’s testimony before the House Oversight Committee continues to be a “media circus” as many Republicans blast the case, with Rep. Carol Miller (R-W.Va.) becoming the latest to slam it naming him as a “waste of time.”

From Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) calling Cohen a “pathological liar” to GOP Ranking Member Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) denouncing the hearing for the “convicted perjurer,” there is no shortage of criticism toward President Trump’s former personal attorney.

This Wednesday, Cohen testified that he lied to Congress to benefit Donald Trump in front of the House Oversight Committee, but the West Virginia representative said the “sole purpose” of the hearing is just to discredit President Trump.

“I am very disappointed to have you in front of this committee today,” Miller said.

“Quite frankly, this isn’t the reason the people of West Virginia sent me to Congress. I find this hearing not in the best interest of the American people. This is another political game with the sole purpose of discrediting the president.” said Miller.

“How can we believe anything you’re saying?” Miller later asked. “The answer is, we can’t.”

Rep. Carol Miller continued to show her dislike toward the hearing case as she noted to House Oversight chair Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) that “we’ve canceled hearings on child separation and on other issues that are close to my heart for this media circus.”

“What a waste of time and money for a man who has gladly exploited the name of the president to promote his own name and fill his own pockets. It pains me that we are sitting here adding another chapter to his book.” she said.

While Carol Miller bashed the hearing for allegedly attempting to discredit the President, Cohen claimed there is a confidential “illegal act” on President Trump that’s “being investigated right now by the Southern District of New York, and I’ve been asked by them not to discuss it, not to talk about these issues,”

It’s sad how many people in the Gov. approve the waste of many on political cases, but refuse to spend a dime of tax payers money to build a wall and help defend our country from drugs, criminals.

Michael Cohen Admitted He Can’t Confirm The Allegations He Made Against President Trump

This Wednesday, President Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen admitted that he is unable to corroborate allegations that the president discussed elements of WikiLeaks’ email hacks with Roger Stone.

How can we corroborate what you’re saying?” Democratic Rep. Deborah Wasserman Schultz of Florida asked Cohen, referring to the former Trump confidant’s allegations that he was aware of Stone’s contact with Julian Assange.

The Florida Rep. is among a slew of Democrats and Republicans grilling Cohen during a congressional hearing.

“I don’t know, but I suspect the special counsel’s office and other government agencies have the information that you’re seeking,” Cohen replayed.

Michael Cohen claims that he overheard Stone tell Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign that he had spoken to Assange about the release of emails stolen from the Democratic National Committee.

Cohen, who will begin a three-year prison sentence in May, is also providing stories from his decades of working for President Trump, which he claims shows the former real estate mogul to be “a racist … a conman … a cheat.”

This Wednesday, President Trump ripped Cohen’s appearance ahead of time, telling his Twitter followers that his former lawyer “did bad things unrelated to Trump. He is lying in order to reduce his prison time. Using Crooked’s lawyer!”

While Cohen was saying this under oath, he should keep in mind that his sentence might be increased if he is not telling the truth.

“Only thing I’m learning now is that Cohen is a convicted habitual liar who says he’s done lying for Trump, so now he’s lying for democrats.” said Jim Jordan.
