Tomi Lahren Says: Californians Are ‘Waking Up,’ Opposing Sanctuary Law

Tomi Lahren slammed California Governor Jerry Brown (D) and Democratic lawmakers who don’t support the federal immigration law.

Lahren stated that every American citizen should be angry with the leaders who support the sanctuary policies and do not support measures to protect the border crossing, as with President Trump’s proposal for a border wall between Mexico and the United States.

‘It’s a slap in the face,’ Tomi Lahren said on “Outnumbered” on Friday. ‘I think Californians are waking up. I’ve said this time and time again because I live there and I see it every day: They’re tired of this. The partisanship is going out the window, and safety is coming first.’

Latest research from UC-Berkeley’s Haas Institute found that the majority of Californians want illegal immigrants to be deported and nearly half of them support President Trump’s travel ban.

Tomi Lahren pointed out that President Trump expressed his willingness to compromise on a fix for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program in exchange for border wall funding, but the Democrats seemed unwilling to reach that agreement.

‘You have the Republicans that are saying, ‘We want a wall, we want to protect Americans,’ and you have Democrats that are saying, ‘What we really want to do is protect illegal immigrants,’ Lahren said. ‘Those are the competing agendas. Let the American people decide which one’s more important.’

‘This president cares about America first,’ she added. ‘And guess what? Americans have a right to put ourselves first in our own country. Radical position, I know.’

Ex-Obama administration official Marie Harf admitted that she doesn’t support building of a border wall, but since President Trump was elected on the issue, she said that Congress should come together on a deal to build the border wall and protect Dreamers from deportation.

‘Why is that a compromise Congress can’t get to?’ Former Obama official Marie Harf asked, arguing most American citizens would support it even though the President promised voters that Mexico would pay for the wall, not taxpayers.

George HW Bush’s Love Letter To Barbara From World War 2 Goes Viral

Many journalists and historians reminded us on Tuesday of the hand-written love letter that future President George H.W. Bush sent to his then-fiancée Barbara Pierce back in Dec. 12, 1943.

Presidential historian Michael Beschloss posted a tweet stating that George H.W. Bush was a U.S. Navy pilot at the time during World War II. The letter begins with “My darling Bar.” written in blue ink on Navy stationery.

George H.W. Bush begins the letter by telling his fiancée how happy he was to read their engagement announcement in the newspaper.

‘I love you, precious, with all my heart and to know that you love me means my life. How often I have thought about the immeasurable joy that will be ours someday. How lucky our children will be to have a mother like you,’ said in the letter.

The lovely couple met at a Christmas dance while they were teenagers. The future President was an 18 years old naval aviator in training, and Barbara was 17.

Barbara Bush, died Tuesday, at age 92, shortly after her family announced she was in bad health and would decline further medical treatment in favor of “comfort care.” There were no further details of her health problems.

One of her sons, former President George W. Bush, made a statement about his mother calling her ‘a fabulous First Lady and a woman unlike any other.’

George and Barbara were married on Jan. 6, 1945, four months after the elder Bush was shot down over the Pacific.

In the letter, the young pilot goes on to mention the war and the mission, but also how he couldn’t wait to return in her arms. The former first lady kept the letter in her scrapbook.

‘As the days go by the time of our departure draws nearer. For a long time, I had anxiously looked forward to the day when we would go aboard and set to sea. It seemed that obtaining that goal would be all I could desire for some time but, Bar, you have changed all that,’ – he wrote.

‘I cannot say that I do not want to go—for that would be a lie. We have been working for a long time with a single purpose in mind, to be so equipped that we could meet and defeat our enemy. I do want to go because it is my part, but now leaving presents itself not as an adventure but as a job which I hope will be over before long.’

‘Even now, with a good while between us and the sea, I am thinking of getting back. This may sound melodramatic, but if it does it is only my inadequacy to say what I mean. Bar, you have made my life full of everything I could ever dream of — my complete happiness should be a token of my love for you.’

School Shooting Victim’s Father Slams The Media: It’s Not About Guns, It’s About Safety In Our Schools

We’ve all witnessed how mainstream media has put politics over the unfortunate children who died and their grieving families in the Florida school shooting.

Andrew Pollack is the father of Meadow Pollack, who was among the 17 individuals killed in the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Florida.

Pollack couldn’t just stand by and watch how the media makes everything about politics, and decided to put them on blast.

The grieving father went on Fox News Sunday and blasted the media for focusing on gun control and not the safety of our children in schools. He stated that gun control is a big issue in America and that polarizing these tragic events on that question won’t bring the American people together.

‘I just had to listen to you and Governor Scot polarizing this event and talking about gun control… Gun control is a big issue, no one in America is gonna come together on Gun control Chris, and you didn’t say one thing about fixing it.’

Andrew Pollack then stated that American people can get together on school safety and the security of our children. ‘The American people, we could get together on school safety… But when you and every other media polarize this event, we don’t care about gun control rite now, that’s a big issue on the country and you’re not going to get everyone together on it…’

‘But, we’re going to get everyone together on fixing our schools’ Pollack added.

He then continued to slam the media on how they use gun control to get more ratings ‘I’ve just listened to you and you didn’t mention one question to Gov. Scot about what are we gonna do about the security for our children and how will it be done… Instead you just talk about gun control that’s just gonna give you more ratings’

‘Today it’s not about guns, Its about the safety in our schools’ said Pollack. ‘My kid is not here because the schools weren’t safe, that’s the main thing’

At the end of the interview Andrew Pollack explained that ‘If you go into a court house, the judge is safe, they’re not worried if someone is coming in with a gun because they can’t get in with a gun.’

‘The American people just want their schools safe… We don’t wanna talk about guns rite now!’ said the grieving father.

He’s speaking the truth that the media won’t cover. It’s not about guns right now, it should be about protecting the schools. This is a True American – Every single one of us should be absolutely proud of this gentleman. His family (as well as all of the other families) need our prayers and support. He is fighting to protect our children – amidst his terrible pain. May God bless him and his family.

List of 7 Simple Steps That Can Stop School Shootings Overnight

After countless arguments, social media trolling from people saying whatever comes to mind, it is a time we as Americans to begin a real discussion on how to stop the next school shooting from happening.

In 2017, Americans owned 300,000,000+ guns in their hands, 15,549 deaths happened that year. This is actually half the number of people that died of automotive deaths even though there are less cars in existence than guns. About 253,000,000 cars were in existence in 2017, and the auto deaths count was 41,000.

That being said, Americans are still divided on gun control, and there are genuinely good people on both sides of the issue. Pro-gun people believe that owning a gun ensures the safety of their families and serves as a threat to the government from becoming too tyrannical. Anti-gun people, on the other hand, believe that the existence of a gun is a danger to every American. But we must note that both sides desire safety in general.

A few days ago, we decided to use our research abilities and search for all possible solution that could be acceptable to both sides of the discussion. Here is a list of few simple steps that can be implemented across our country in no time, and should result in eliminating school shootings. This list can be a starting point where good-willing Americans can come together and make a real difference to our country.

1. Metal Detectors In Every School in America: Our courts, airports, government buildings, conventions, sports stadiums, and plenty of other public gatherings demand metal detectors on their access points. Why do the largest schools in America (Stoneman Douglas is one of them with over 3,000 students) don’t have access points controlled through a metal detector daily?

2. Reinforce Windows, Doors, Locks, Busses: Though few of these were installed and still did not stop the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooter in Newtown, Connecticut, they were able to stop some of the carnage. At the Stoneman Douglas high school shooting, the attacker tried to shoot victims outside the building, but was unable to because of the reinforced glass windows. That piece of glass saved many lives that day.

3. Enforce Everything: Usually, people calling for more laws regarding firearms do not realize just how many laws already exist. With a simple enforcement of the existing laws we could cut down the numbers of people that own and utilize guns. This is particularly important in the area of those suffering from mental health issues. We must begin enforcing our laws, and we must do it like our children’s lives depend on it.

4. Regular Performing of Active Shooter Drills: In many schools through America earthquake drills are performed even though no children have died from an earthquake in years, still, the drills go forward. ‘Sequester and Hide’ (and then get your cell phone out and begin ‘facebook-LIVE-ing’) can be replaced with ‘Barricade, Attack, & Survive.’ Young students should be aware of how fast they can move their desks to protect themselves against a shooter. This should be practiced at the minimum in comparison to earthquake drills.

5. Recruit Retired Military & Law Enforcement: We have a surprising number of people who are qualified as experts in public safety who also live in our communities. These are our neighbors and friends who already have received weapons training and certification. Most of these people (unless they become criminals) are already allowed to possess, own, and carry firearms. If we have them to operate the access points at all schools, check every backpack and bag carried onto the premises, and engage in every threat, be it a firearm, a pocket knife or something else similar – would not only make it a safer school campus but also a more rule-following, law-abiding one.

6. Arm All Appropriate Personnel: Giving teachers, administrators, and coaches (only the ones who wish to) the right to protect themselves on campus is a backstop to all other methods. There would be no threat at all if only 5-10% of staff were also armed, properly trained, and certified. Coaches and teachers instead of sacrificing their lives by taking a bullet for their students would be ready to confront any threat that made it to their area of the campus.

7. Publicize Consequence: The mere knowledge of this list of obstacles to any attacker may not completely dissuade them. But since it was readily apparent that this list of steps would have actually saved some if not all of the lives in Florida this week, one thing can be easily understood. If any individual decides to try to do something under these guidelines, he runs a much larger threat of being caught, captured, and killed if he tries it. So talk about it openly. Do the drills, teach the kids to fight when their lives are endangered, tell the attackers in advance that if they choose to attack a school it is open war on them, and they have no chance at all.

After putting some of these steps into practice, Israel has almost zero school attacks. None of the steps on this list infringe upon law-abiding people’s Second Amendment rights and all of them would make an immediate impact on every school district that adopts them.

There is no common sense American that can deny their effectiveness. Our children are worth it!
