Dash-Cam Footage Captures Heroic Off-Duty Cop Trying To Save Baby’s Life On Side Of The Road

Marion County, FL, Deputy Jeremie Nix was heading home when he spotted a woman which needed help on side of the road.

According to WESH, Nechole Crowell told Nix that her three-month-old son Kingston stopped breathing and was in need of immediate help.

‘I just kind of panicked and started crying and I was just like tell me that he is breathing,’ Crowell told WESH.

Deputy Jeremie Nix turned his car around and pulled up next to the woman on the side of the road.

Nix tried to help the baby immediately with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), but it did not help.

Then he rushed the baby to the hospital with the police vehicle. Kingston was taken to the hospital on time and is expected to make a full recovery.

According to the doctors from the hospital where Kingston was taken, Nix’s decision to rush the baby straight to them saved his life.

‘I am thanking God, and I’m just grateful, and so I want the world to know that he is amazing and he’s a hero in my book, whether he’s a hero in anyone else’s or not. And I am sure when King gets old enough to hear the story he will think he is a hero as well,’ Crowell told WESH.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office shared a heartwarming message and update about Kingston’s state afterward.

‘Deputy Nix delivered the child to medical personnel, who then began treating the child. We are happy to report that Baby Kingston is doing very well and doctors say he will make a full recovery!!,’ the department’s YouTube page said.

‘Doctors also said that because of K9 Deputy Nix’s actions, Baby Kingston is alive today. We are tremendously proud of Deputy Nix and we can already see that he and Baby Kingston will have a deep connection that will last a lifetime!!’

God bless Deputy Jeremie Nix for saving the baby’s life, and may God bless baby Kingston, we wish him to have healthy and happy life further.
