Intel Inspector General Sides With Trump – Tells Adam Schiff To Go Pound Sand Over His Intel Complaint

Looks like the Democrats cannot seem to get out of their own way and that is very good for the Trump administration.

All administrations deal with Congressional harassment (oversight) that is political. When the other side can make life miserable for their opponents, they tend to do so. It usually comes down to what they can get away with, and the Democrats have some power there.

Seems like either they are totally incompetent or Nancy Pelosi is terrified of internal polls that show Trump as way more popular than the media polls.

The Hill reported that the intelligence community’s inspector general declined to share details of a whistle-blower complaint that is said to involve a discussion between President Trump and a foreign leader.

Rep. Chris Stewart said that Michael Atkinson, the inspector general for the intelligence community, didn’t talk about the contents of the whistle-blower complaint during a private session with lawmakers that has lasted more than three hours.

Michael Atkinson was “very careful” about what he said, Stewart Chris added.

President Trump also blasted the report tweeting: “Another Fake News story out there – It never ends!

“Virtually anytime I speak on the phone to a foreign leader, I understand that there may be many people listening from various U.S. agencies, not to mention those from the other country itself. No problem!” Trump added.

CNN’s own Phil Mudd ripped the intel officer explaning that President Trump has enormous power and responsibility and he should not be treated that way by some rank and file official.
