‘John Brennan Should Be Very Nervous’- Ex CIA Chief Faces Reckoning For Peddling Lies on TV For 2-Years

The day of reckoming has come for critics of President Donald Trump in the wake of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report to Attorney General William Barr.

ABC correspondent Terry Moran believes that John Brennan, who has been a vocal critic of President Trump, has “a lot to answer for.”

“John Brennan has a lot to answer for—going before the American public for months, cloaked with CIA authority and openly suggesting he’s got secret info, and repeatedly turning in performances like this.” tweeted Terry Moran.

Moran tweeted his comments along with a video of John Brennan’s MSNBC interview from earlier this month making his predictions about Mueller’s report and suggesting that he had some kind of inside information and that even members of Trump’s family could be in trouble.

Glenn Greenwald of The Intercept called out MSNBC for hiring the former intelligence official as a political analyst as the TV network fed lies to it’s viewers for two years.

“You can’t blame MSNBC viewers for being confused. They largely kept dissenters from their Trump/Russia spy tale off the air for 2 years. As recently as 2 weeks ago, they had @JohnBrennan strongly suggesting Mueller would indict Trump family members on collusion as his last act.”

“How – if you’re an MSNBC viewer (or consumer of similar online content) – can you not be angry & disoriented having been fed utter bull***t like this for 2 straight years with basically no dissent allowed? Just listen to what they were telling you to believe & how false it was”

““Oh gosh – turns out that if you hire ex-CIA Directors to be ‘news analysts,’ they’ll abuse our airwaves to disseminate self-serving disinformation” – what MSNBC executives would be saying right now if they were honest & self-reflecting (and therefore aren’t saying)”

Pollster Frank Luntz agreed, calling out the “speculative nonsense” by Brennan and the fact that there has been no admission that the ex-CIA director “turned out to be laughably wrong.”

Brennan slammed President Trump in many occasions, in unprofessional tweets and comments, in interviews that seem surprising coming from an ex-CIA director.

He was so sure, like so many on the left, that Mueller’s investigation would lead to President Trump’s downfall.

“Your cabal of unprincipled, unethical, dishonest, and sycophantic cronies is being methodically brought to justice. We all know where this trail leads. If your utter incompetence is not enough to run you out of office, your increasingly obvious political corruption surely will.” posted Brennan on his Twitter profile.

There are plenty calling for consequences for Brennan after all the hate and disinformation they peddled to the American people.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders told reporters that if Congress “is so gung-ho to call people up to the Hill,” they should start with Brennan, Ex-FBI chief James Comey and former Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper.
