Joy Behar Crosses Line With Attack On Rush Limbaugh, Takes Cheap Shots At Trump Over Virus Emergency

“The Views” co-host Joy Behar went after Rush Limbaugh, a man who is seriously ill with advanced lung cancer, and took a cheap shot at his past struggle with opioid addiction.

Limbaugh famously kicked pain killers after a long battle that stemmed from a past surgery. So Behar is just a disgrace to hit Rush in this way, let alone spreading half-truths and political hit jobs at Trump.

Fox News reported that Joy Behar appeared to mock radio host Rush Limbaugh’s historic addiction to pain medication Wednesday, telling him to “take a pill.”

Limbaugh had downplayed the danger posed by the coronavirus, claiming that it was being “weaponized” to take down President Trump. He also compared it to a common cold.

“He needs to take a pill and keep quiet,” Joy Behar said. Limbaugh, who recently received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, revealed in 2003 that he had become addicted to painkillers after undergoing spinal surgery.

Earlier this month, Limbaugh told his listeners that he had been diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer.

On Wednesday’s show, Joy Behar also took aim at President Trump for cutting the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) budget.

“In 2018, the CDC had to cut 80 percent of its efforts to prevent global disease outbreaks because Trump wanted to use his money to build his wall … Let that sink into your heads as you’re sneezing around town,” she said.

Co-host Meghan McCain wasn’t too keen about the way Joy Behar attacked President Trump.

“I prefer not to politicize when people are dying in this way because it really is tragic,” McCain said.
