MSNBC Hires Disgraced FBI Agent Lisa Page – She Goes After Barr On Her First Day: “Norms Required For Rule Of Law”

Disgraced FBI lawyer Lisa Page has a new job position and you will not be surprised at all where she will be working.

Page was just announced as NBC and MSNBC’s new national security and legal analyst. Lisa Page made her debut today with these words from MSNBC host Nicole Wallace.

“We’re very happy to welcome to our network Lisa Page, former FBI lawyer who worked as special counsel for Robert Mueller’s legal team,” Nicolle Wallace said.

“She worked on the Russian government disinformation probe and on the Hillary Clinton email investigation.”

During an appearance on MSNBC, Page didn’t miss the opportunity to blast AG Barr for his conduct working in the Trump administration.

“I think what’s more important to recognize here is how fragile the rule of law is, how much it depends on norms and the exercise of restraint. And what you see here is the exact opposite of that,” Page began.

“You’ve seen an attorney general who doesn’t feel bound by the norms that his predecessors have, who’s willing to mischaracterize the conclusions of the Mueller report, who’s willing to overturn four career prosecutors in a sentencing determination, who’s willing to withdraw a plea by somebody who, you know, in the case of Michael Flynn, plead twice based on a cooperation agreement,” Page said.

The Daily Caller reported that Page was discovered in 2017 to be having an affair with former FBI agent Peter Strzok, who worked on special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation before he was removed for showing bias against President Trump in text messages exchanged with Page.

Many of the lovers’ texts, which were sent on agency-issued phones, were released by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI in 2017.

Page sued the DOJ and FBI for releasing her text messages, alleging that it was “illegal.”

She testified in July 2018 that the FBI didn’t see strong evidence of Russian collusion with President Trump 10 months after beginning its investigation.

Page worked on the Mueller probe before evidence of her affair led to her dismissal from the team. She spoke in an interview with The Daily Beast in December 2019, asserting that “there’s no fathomable way” she “committed any crime at all.”
