As all Americans can agree, Trump’s State of the Union was a grand slam and left the Democrats flat-footed.
CNN’s Van Jones was terrified after all that was over and warned the Democrats that Donald Trump would be very, very hard to beat in 2020.
But not everyone was happy. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was furious and took to social media to vent her rage, while disgracing herself with a vicious attack on Rush Limbaugh.
As you can remember, Rush has advanced lung cancer but Rep. Ocasio Cortez did not care much about that.
“The Presidential Medal of Freedom is an extraordinarily sacred award, talking about putting someone on the same level as Rosa Parks.”
“Rush Limbaugh is a virulent racist.”
“But to do it in the middle of the State of the Union and not dignify it with a separate ceremony it cheapens the value of the award,” she said forgetting that Rush has lung cancer and Rush may not be around to have a ceremony or may be too sick to enjoy it.”
Then AOC called him disingenuous and faking emotion because she said he knew that President Trump was going to give him the award.
“Him (Limbaugh) pretending to be surprised is a joke…multiple reports that he was going to get and then having him pretend like it was an Oprah moment is disingenuous.”
AOC went on to say that many people in the audience have contributed more to America than Rush Limbaugh before totally disgracing herself.
“Trump wants to assert that Rush Limbaugh is on level of Rosa Parks… it is truly nauseating and one of the reasons I did not go last night.”
