Former White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders announced that she has a new job at Fox News. The former White House press secretary will start on Sept. 6.
There was much speculation as to Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ next move with many predicting she would run for governor. She still could, and if she did she would be a formidable opponent, but for now, she will work to further President Trump’s agenda from Fox News.
Sarah Sanders did an amazing job at the White House, while she took a lot of incoming from the media, and now she can give as good as she gets.
Former White House press secretary Sarah Sanders has joined the Fox News Channel as a paid, on-air contributor, the network said on Thursday.
“FOX News has been the number one news organization in the country for 17 years running and I am beyond proud to join their incredible stable of on-air contributors in providing political insights and analysis,” Sarah Sanders said in a statement.
Sanders left the White House back in June. At the time, political media industry insiders speculated that she could wind up at Fox News, The Hollywood Reporter claims.
“I do expect Sarah to sign up with Fox News, based on mutual interest,” a former White House official said at the time.
The network said that Sarah Sanders will “provide political commentary and analysis across all of FOX News Media, including FOX News Channel (FNC), FOX Business Network (FBN), FOX News Digital, FOX Nation and the radio/podcast division,” starting with an appearance on the morning show Fox & Friends.
