Susan Collins Sides With Murkowski & Dems On Replacing RBG After Election

Susan Collins has issued a statement on GOP efforts to replace Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg prior to the election.

Collins is quoted saying “In fairness to the American people, who will either be re-electing the President or selecting a new one, the decision on a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court should be made by the President who is elected on November 3rd.”

Susan Collins now joins Elizabeth Murkowski in being a second confirmed “no” against replacing Ruth Bader Ginsburg prior to the election.

Senator Murkowski has announced she will not vote to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg until after election day, saying “fair is fair.”

Many conservatives, as well as liberals, will now be awaiting statements of Mitt Romney, Chuck Grassley, and Cory Gardner.
