Brit Hume Slams Adam Schiff For Claiming That Mueller’s Report Didn’t Find Trump Innocent

Fox News senior correspondent Brit Hume slammed California Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff for saying that special counsel Robert Mueller’s report failed to exonerate President Trump.

Rep. Adam Schiff said, “If the special counsel … had found evidence exonerating the president, he would have said so. He did not. He left that issue to the Congress of the United States, and we will need to consider it.”

Fox News’ Brit Hume replied to that contention in a tweet:

Those who suggested that President Trump colluded with Russia before the release of the report now appear to be focusing on unsubstantiated obstruction of justice charges. This focus is based on an inconclusive line in Meuller’s report, which says investigators were “unable to reach” a judgment that President Trump “clearly did not commit obstruction of justice:

“If we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the president clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, however, we are unable to reach that judgment. The evidence we obtained about the president’s actions and intent presents difficult issues that prevent us from conclusively determining that no criminal conduct occurred.”

The report’s emphatic conclusion that Trump’s campaign didn’t conspire with the Russian forces during the 2016 election prompted President Trump to remark that it was “a good day.”

Rep. Schiff, who has long maintained that he has “evidence” of Russian collusion has also criticized Attorney General William Barr for suggesting the FBI was spying on the Trump campaign.

Even after the Attorney General released a synopsis of the report that clearly stated collusion had not been proven, Schiff continued to maintain that it was.

The Dems appear to be divided about moving forward with impeachment proceedings against President Trump. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer described that option as “not worthwhile” on Thursday while others said they would continue to seek Trump’s impeachment.

New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez posted on Twitter, Thursday, and said that it is “Congress’ responsibility” to investigate “obstruction of justice by the president” and included a link to Michigan Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s resolution to impeach President Trump.

Shep Smith Completely Shuts Down French Reporter From Speculating That Terrorists Are Behind The Fire In Notre Dame

Fox News anchor Shep Smith completely shuts down and ends the phone call from a French media analyst when he began to speculate terrorists might be responsible for the terrible fire at the Notre Dame Cathedral that broke out on Monday.

Philippe Karsenty, who has previously been convicted of defamation, joined the Fox News coverage of the tragic event and tried to offer his opinion that the fire may not have been an accident like it’s been reported so far in the media. Reuters Paris bureau chief Luke Baker tweeted that the fire, “started by accident and is related to ongoing work, according to France 2, citing police.”

“Everybody’s really under shock now in France. I would tell you something. Even if nobody died, it’s like a 9/11, it’s a French 9/11. It’s a big shock. This church was there for more than 850 years. Even the Nazis didn’t dare to destroy it,” Karsenty said.

“You need to know that for the past years, we’ve had churches desecrated each and every week in France, all over France. So, of course, you will hear the story of the politically correct — the political correctness which will tell you it’s probably an accident.”

Smith interrupted him, saying, “Sir, sir, sir, we’re not going to speculate here of the cause of something that which we don’t know. If you have observations or you know something, we would love to hear it.”

“I’m just telling you something, what we need to be ready,” Karsenty responded.

Then Fox News anchor Shep Smith cut him off and went into a diatribe about why he would not allow a guest to speculate on his show.

“No, sir, we’re not doing that here, not now, not on my watch. Philippe Karsenty, it’s very good for you to be here. We’re watching the at least partial destruction of a world icon, Notre Dame Cathedral has been burning for 2.5 hours. The initial reports we got were that the fire started in a construction zone in the rear.”

“We are thousands of miles away. And the man on the phone with us has absolutely no information of any kind about the origin of this fire and neither do I. And the fire investigators will at some point come to a determination about what caused this and conspiracy theories about anything are worthless and in many cases counter productive and injurious to society. And those who entertain them are not acting in the best interests of the people of this planet.” said Smith.

President Trump responded to the terrible news of the fire on Twitter earlier on Monday, saying, “So horrible to watch the massive fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.” He urged those battling the blaze to “act quickly,” suggesting the use of airborne water tankers.

Howard Kurtz:‘It Certainly Looks Like a Suspension’ – Fans Torched Fox News For Suspending Judge Pirro

Fox News fans torched the network after they suspended host Judge Jeanine Pirro and pulled her show off the air this weekend after she condemned sharia law and the anti-Semitic rants of Democrat Congresswoman Ilhan Omar.

FNC host Howard Kurtz commented on Media Buzz: “A Fox spokesperson says, ‘We are not commenting on internal scheduling matters.’ And yet — without some public explanation of why the show was pulled — it certainly looks like a suspension.”

Fox News scolded Jeanine Pirro for rebuking sharia law. In her opinion monologue last week, Judge Jeanine said:

“Omar wears a hijab — which according to the Quran 33:59 — tells women to cover so they won’t get molested. Is her adherence to this Islamist doctrine indicative of her adherence to sharia law — which is antithetical to the U.S. Constitution?” she said.

“We are witnessing the rise of anti-Semitism in Europe, where incidents are up 74% in the last year alone in France. And people use the common tropes of Jews with too much money and influence. We all know how it starts. Hate is hate. Hate leads to violence.” she added.

Meanwhile, President Trump backed Judge Jeanine on Twitter.

“Bring back Judge Jeanine Pirro. The Radical Left Democrats — working closely with their beloved partner, the Fake News Media — is using every trick in the book to SILENCE a majority of our Country.”

“They have all out campaigns against Fox News hosts who are doing too well..The losers all want what you have. Don’t give it to them. Be strong and prosper, be weak and die.”

“Bring back @JudgeJeanine Pirro. The Radical Left Democrats, working closely with their beloved partner, the Fake News Media, is using every trick in the book to SILENCE a majority of our Country. They have all out campaigns against @FoxNews hosts who are doing too well.”

“Fox must stay strong and fight back with vigor. Stop working soooo hard on being politically correct, which will only bring you down, and continue to fight for our Country. The losers all want what you have, don’t give it to them. Be strong & prosper, be weak & die! Stay true…” posted the President.

BizPac Review reported that Fox News Network rebuked host Judge Jeanine amid left-wing hysteria after she rebuked Ilhan Omar’s steady stream of anti-Semitic and anti-American comments.

Fox News responded saying: “We strongly condemn Jeanine Pirro’s comments about Rep. Ilhan Omar. They do not reflect those of the network and we have addressed the matter with her directly.”

Sharia law and Islam are the Left’s sacred cows. Therefore, no one is allowed to criticize them or even mention radical Islam’s undisputed links to terrorism.

Many FNC fans were disappointed by Fox News’ wimpy refusal to stand by one of their most popular media personalities.

They are questioning why Fox News scolded an opinion host for expressing her opinions when left-wing activists on CNN and many other networks masquerading as “journalists” call President Donald Trump and anyone associated with him anti-Semitic and anti-American 24 hours a day.

Not long after Fox News scolded host Jeanine Pirro, Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar reacted by gloating on Twitter.

Many Fox News fans and viewers were disgusted at the network’s weak-kneed capitulation to leftist whiners.

“I don’t get why Fox News is condemning Judge Jeanine for saying Sharia Law is incompatible with the Constitution. It’s not.” said a post on Twitter.

“Sharia would set back women’s rights, and LGBT rights 100+ years.” said another.

“Fox is run by RINOs, of course they would do that.”

Fox News Network Hires Former DNC Chair Accused Of Leaking CNN Debate Questions To Hillary

Fox News Network signed former Democratic National Committee Chair Donna Brazile as a contributor two weeks after Tom Perez, the current DNC Chair, announced that he would ban the network from hosting Democratic primary debates.

This Monday, Fox News announced that Brazile is joining the network as a contributor to offer political analysis, and she preemptively scolded progressives who might criticize her decision.

“I’m delighted to be joining FOX News. I know I’m going to get criticized from my friends in the progressive movement for being on FOX News. My response is that, if we’ve learned anything from the 2016 election, it is that we can’t have a country where we don’t talk to those who disagree with our political views. There’s an audience on FOX News that doesn’t hear enough from Democrats. We have to engage that audience and show Americans of every stripe what we stand for rather than retreat into our ‘safe spaces’ where we simply agree with each other.” Donna Brazile stated.

The former Democratic National Committee Chair added that she plans to be herself on Fox News and will bring “just as much New Orleans hot sauce as folks expect.”

Back in early March, DNC Chair Tom Perez announced that he wasn’t going to allow Fox News to host a Democratic primary debate, citing an article from New Yorker that alleged Fox News has become a propaganda outlet for President Trump.

“Recent reporting in the New Yorker on the inappropriate relationship between President Trump, his administration and Fox News has led me to conclude that the network is not in a position to host a fair and neutral debate for our candidates,” Perez said in a statement. “Therefore, Fox News will not serve as a media partner for the 2020 Democratic primary debates.”

Former Democratic National Committee Chairman Ed Rendell criticized Tom Perez and his decision, arguing that the Democratic party should aim to spread their message to as many people as possible.

Rendell added that there are many of straight news anchors on the network that can ensure a fair debate.

Donna Brazile, however, has been the subject of her own controversy regarding Democratic debates. Emails released by WikiLeaks revealed that back in 2016 Brazile was sharing CNN debate and town hall questions with the Clinton campaign in advance.
