Graham Claims It Is ‘Clear’ That Mueller ‘Wasn’t In Charge’ Of The Probe & President Trump Is ‘Stronger’ After Testimony

Sen. Lindsey Graham claimed that he isn’t sure that former Special Counsel Mueller was “in charge” of the investigation.

On Wednesday, Robert Mueller appeared before two House committees to testify about his 448-page final report into President Trump’s 2016 campaign and Russian meddling.

Responding to the former Special Counsel’s testimony, Lindsey Graham told Fox News on Wednesday that he believes “after today, the Mueller report is in name only.”

“It clearly wasn’t the Mueller report,” he added. “It’s just a name. I had more to do with the Mueller report than probably he did.”

“People around Bob Mueller knew he was in a weakened state. This guy served in Vietnam, got wounded, done a lot of great things for the country. He should have not of been called. […] The hatred for Trump know’s no boundaries. They used this man.” He said.

The Republican lawmaker stated that after the hearings, “Donald Trump is stronger tonight than any time in his presidency.”

The Senate Judiciary Committee chairman, Lindsey Graham, claimed that it was very “clear” that Robert Mueller “was not in charge” of the probe.

“After today’s hearing — and for the good of the country — I hope this is the end of the [Mueller Report],” Senator. Graham tweeted following Wednesday’s hearings.

“Now it’s time to find out how this debacle started and went so far.” He added.

Sen. Graham’s call to find out the origin of Robert Mueller’s probe echoes House Judiciary Committee ranking member Doug Collins’ remark in his opening statement during the committee’s hearing with the former special counsel.

“One element of this story remains: the beginnings of the FBI investigation into the president,” Collins previously claimed.

However, the former special counsel’s testimony didn’t stop the House Democrats to continue pressing forward with investigations into President Trump.

While congressional Democrats labeled the hearings a “great victory,” President Trump said. “The Democrats had nothing.”

Graham Drops The Hammer On ‘Anti-American’ Omar & Ocasio-Cortez: ‘They Will Destroy The Democratic Party’

Senator Lindsey Graham has had enough. He just dropped the hammer on the ‘Squad.” The four Dem House members are making life hell for Pelosi because they keep handing President Trump political gifts.

I appears that the battle is on to define political opponents ahead of the 2020 elections. The GOP and Sen. Lindsey Graham know this as does Nancy Pelosi, the only ones who don’t” Omar and Ocasio-Cortez and the rest.

As Senator Graham says, “make them the face of the future Democratic Party and you will destroy the Democratic Party.”

“We all know that AOC ( Rep. Ocasio-Cortez) and this crowd are a bunch of communists, they hate Israel, they hate our own country, they’re calling the guards along our border — the Border Patrol agents — concentration camp guards,” Senator Graham stated on Fox and Friends.

“They accuse people who support Israel as doing it for the ‘Benjamins,’” a reference to Rep. Ilhan Omar.

“They are anti-Semitic, they are anti-American, we don’t need to know anything about them personally, talk about their policies.” He said.

“I think they are American citizens who are duly elected that are running on an agenda that is disgusting, that the American people will reject,” he continued.

“Talk about what it mean for America to have free healthcare for illegal immigrants, and no criminalization of coming into our country — see how that works for controlling immigration!”

“Their ideas, they’re anti-Semitic,” Sen. Graham repeated. “They talk about the Israel state as if they’re a bunch of thugs, not victims of the entire region.”

“They wanted to impeach President Trump on day one. They are socialist, they’re anti-Semitic, they stand for all the things that most American disagree with. Make them the face of the future Democratic Party and you will destroy the Democratic Party,” he added.

Lindsey Graham On Immigrants: They ‘Broke The Law, Don’t Care If They Stay In Facilities For 400 Days’

Senator Lindsey Graham went down to the southern border to see the crisis and get some firsthand details. He was accompanied by Vice President Mike Pence and what they saw was not good.

We have a crisis as a nation and we need our leaders from both issles to come together. But they refuse to, so Lindsey Graham explained to all America what is at stake.

TPM reported that on Sunday, Sen. Lindsey Graham claimed that he has no problem keeping the immigrants in the squalid cells he saw during his detention facility tour in Texas with the Vice President.

“What I saw is a bunch of people who have been here before, broke the law before, and we’re not going to let them go,” Sen. Graham told Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” host Maria Bartiromo.

“I don’t care if they have to stay in these facilities for 400 days, we’re not going to let those men go that I saw. It would be dangerous.” He said.

Senator Lindsey Graham, who also serves as the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, claimed that “all of [the detained immigrants] broke our law.”

“All of them broke our law,” Sen. Graham stated. “Many of them have done it before. And we’re not going to let them go.”

And despite seeing the unsanitary conditions of the two border facilities for himself, he had toured with VP Pence on Friday, the Senator argued that “[t]his is not a concentration camp that I saw.”

“It is a facility overwhelmed,” Lindsey Graham explained.

‘They Should Stay In Their Country:’ Lindsey Graham Claims Border Deaths Are Not Trump’s Fault

This Wednesday, South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham said that immigrants should “stay” in their countries of origin instead of undertaking the “dangerous” journey across the southern border.

Sen. Graham’s comments on Fox News’ “The Story with Martha MacCallum” came after an incident at the southern border where several immigrants, including 3 children, were discovered dead in South Texas near the Rio Grande river. Many of President Trump’s critics, including Democratic 2020 presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke, blamed the deaths on the current administration’s immigration policies.

“This is not the president’s fault” Sen. Graham told Fox News host Martha MacCallum, calling the attempts to shift the blame to President Trump “disgusting.”

“People from Central America are being enticed to come here in record numbers,” Sen. Lindsay Graham said. “We doubled the number of people who came this year versus last year at this stage of last year, and we are going to double that again. We are going to spend four-point something billion dollars to deal with the humanitarian crisis.”

The South Carolina senator claimed that immigrants “will keep coming” if laws aren’t changed.

“I hate it very much that this father and daughter died but they should stay in their country. We should help them in their country. This journey they are taking is very dangerous. So to my democratic colleagues, if we don’t change our law, we are going to have millions of people overrunning our border, and what are you going to do about that?”

“Here’s our law,” Sen. Lindsay Graham continued. “If you get one foot in the United States, you claim asylum, you are entitled to a hearing. The hearing is like three years away. People don’t show up. If you bring a small child, we can only hold the child for 20 days. We don’t want to separate families, so we let the entire family unit go.”

“Word is out that if you bring a small child to the United States and ask for asylum, you are never going to be sent back. You stay in America forever. Until we change that law, nothing changes.” He claimed.

“And it leads to some of the tragedies that we are seeing,” host MacCallum responded.

Lindsey Graham Turns The Tables On Pelosi, Blasts Hillary’s Shady Campaign Ties

Nancy Pelosi came out and trashed President Donald Trump today for some off-hand comments he made regarding foreign influence in our elections.

Sen. Lindsey Graham didn’t wait long to respond. “First, I believe that it should be practice for all public officials who are contacted by a foreign government with an offer of assistance to their campaign – either directly or indirectly – to inform the FBI and reject the offer.” He said.

“I made this point to FBI Director Wray during his confirmation hearings. But this has not been recent practice and we saw that come to a head during the 2016 presidential campaign. During that race, we had a major American political party hire a foreign national, Christopher Steele, to dig up dirt on an American presidential candidate.” He continued.

“As if that was not bad enough, the foreign national compiled an unverified dossier that was then used by the FBI to obtain a warrant against an American citizen and surveil an American presidential campaign.”

“It has also come to light that the foreign national had a well-known political bias, was doing everything in his power to harm an American candidate’s electoral chances, and sought to directly influence who the American people elected as their next president.” He added.

“American electoral campaigns should be run by, for, and decided by the American people. Foreign influence in our electoral process is and has been a problem.”

Finally, the outrage some of my Democratic colleagues are raising about President Trump’s comments will hopefully be met with equal outrage that their own party hired a foreign national to do opposition research on President Trump’s campaign…”

“…and that information, unverified, was apparently used by the FBI to obtain a warrant against an American citizen,” he concluded.

This Thursday, The Hill reported that Sen. Lindsey Graham said that President Donald Trump was “wrong” to suggest he is open to looking at dirt on a political opponent offered by a foreign government.

“I think that’s wrong. That’s a mistake,” Graham, a frequent defender of the president, said. “I’ve been consistent on this. If a public official is approached by a foreign government offering anything of value … the right answer is ‘no.’”

Sen. Graham also added that he is willing to look at legislation to more clearly define what is illegal, and that “you accept assistance from a foreign government at your own peril.”

“The answer is ‘no.’ It’s got to be ‘no,’” Sen. Graham told reporters during a separate interview.

Graham on Thursday also used questions about President Trump’s comments to raise concerns about Christopher Steele, who put together a controversial opposition research dossier against Trump during the 2016 campaign.

“I’m hoping some of my Democratic colleagues will take more seriously the fact that Christopher Steele was a foreign agent paid for by the Democratic Party,” Sen. Graham added. “Looking at the [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act] FISA process regarding the Steele dossier is important.”

Sen. Lindsey Graham is one of several Republican senators who want to investigate the origins of the FBI’s probe into the Trump campaign.

Lindsey Graham Blasts Adam Schiff For Calling AG Barr ‘Dangerous’: ‘The House Democrats Have Lost Their Minds’

Sen. Lindsey Graham blasted Rep. Adam Schiff for calling Attorney General William Barr “dangerous” during an interview with Fox News on Tuesday.

Earlier in the day, the representative criticized AG Barr for his summary of Robert Mueller’s report, which found that President Trump’s 2016 campaign did not collude with Russia.

“I think he’s the second most dangerous man in the country,” Rep. Adam Schiff said at the time.

However, Sen. Lindsey Graham claimed that Rep. Adam Schiff isn’t trustworthy based on his past accusations of collusion.

“When Adam Schiff speaks you shouldn’t listen,” said Graham. “He’s the guy that saw a Russian behind every tree. Russia did interfere in our election, but Trump didn’t collude with the Russians but he told us he did, Mueller said no he didn’t. So he’s the chairman of the Oliver Stone caucus.”

As previously reported, some Democrats are still pushing for the President’s impeachment. Yet Sen. Graham said that was a sign that they are not willing to move on.

“The Democrats in the House have lost their mind when it comes to Trump,” Graham said. “The Mueller report is done, it’s over, no collusion between Trump and the Russians. But Adam Schiff will not stop until he destroys this presidency.”

Sen. Graham also pointed out that before the report’s release, William Barr was very respected due to his previous work in the intelligence community.

“Here’s what I think. There’s gonna be a backlash to that kind of thinking. Bill Barr is one of the finest men I’ve ever known, he was attorney general on Bush 41’s watch. He has some of the best credentials of anybody to ever hold the job. He’s a good man. He’s not the problem. This insane desire to destroy everything Trump is hurting the country.” He said.

The senator summed up issues that the Dems could be working on, claiming that the real danger was trying to create a false narrative.

“They won’t work with Trump on a border wall even though they supported it when Obama was president,” said Graham. “So I just disagree with Adam Schiff that Bill Barr is dangerous. What’s dangerous is to accuse the president of a crime he didn’t commit.”

‘Jerry Nadler Will Get President Trump Re-Elected In 2020’: Graham Blasts The Democrats ‘Going Nuts’ Over Mueller’s Investigation

Sen. Lindsey Graham is pointing fingers at who will help get President Trump re-elected in 2020 due to their annoying press on the Russia investigation even after its conclusion.

Recently, Donald Trump Jr. agreed to appear before the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee in mid-June following being reportedly subpoenaed by the committee over the Russia investigation.

On May 9, Sen. Graham, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, stated that he’d be “reluctant” to bring Trump Jr. “back into this circus” before the Senate Intelligence Committee “if I were his lawyer.”

The Republican lawmaker doubled down on his reluctance but told Fox News late Wednesday that Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr is “going to issue a good report, I think, telling us how to deal with Russia in the future and what happened on the intel side.”

“My problem is not with Richard Burr, my problem is the system,” Sen. Graham later added.

Sen. Graham said he’s worried about “when’s enough, enough” in regard to the investigation.

“What you see happening is congressional committees are now beginning to take the place of prosecutors, and that’s dangerous for us all,” Graham said. “[…] These people are going nuts.”

“So [House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold] Nadler is going to get Trump re-elected more than any single person on the planet,” he suggested. “But [House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam] Schiff is a close second.”

Special counsel Mueller‘s final report didn’t find collusion between President Trump’s campaign and Russia but did not fully exonerate the president on obstruction of justice.

Attorney General Barr reportedly appointed Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham to investigate the origins of Mueller’s investigation as well as if FBI surveillance into Trump’s 2016 campaign was legal.

Lindsey Graham Shuts Down Dick Blumenthal After He Threatened Don Trump Jr With Prison

Sen. Dick Blumenthal in an unnecessary escalation dramatically raised the stakes with a threat to put Don Trump Jr in prison.

“If he fails to answer, he ought to be put in jail. If he fails to comply with a lawful subpoena, he has no privilege. Prison is the only answer,” claimed Blumenthal.

South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham didn’t wait long to respond to the Connecticut Democrat, as his remarks reached Twitter in no time.

“If I were his lawyer I wouldn’t put him back into this circus. The freak show in the house, I’m not gonna let it come to the Senate so we gave Mueller two years and $25 million and it’s over for me.” Said Lindsey Graham on Sen. Intel Trump Jr. subpoena.

Don Jr seems to also agree with this. His team released a short and biting statement addressing the issue.

“Don is a private citizen, who has already been cleared by Mueller after a two-year investigation. He has done 8-9 hours of testimony in front of Senate Intel already and 27 hours of testimony in front of various committees in total.”

“When he originally agreed to testify in front of the Senate Intel Committee in 2017, there was an agreement between Don and the Committee that he would only have to come in and testify a single time as long as he was willing to stay for as long as they’d like, which Don did.”

“Don Jr. continues to cooperate by producing documents and he is willing to answer written questions, but no lawyer would ever agree to allow their client to participate in what is an obvious PR stunt from a so-called ‘Republican’ senator too cowardly to stand up to his boss Mark Warner and the rest of the resistance Democrats on the committee.”

Don Trump Jr. also issued a series of cryptic tweets making his feelings clear. From The Daily Wire:

The first is a tweet by Republican Rep. Kevin McCarthy (CA), who wrote in response to the Axios story: “DonaldJTrumpJr has already spent dozens of hours testifying in front of Congressional committees. Endless investigations—by either party—won’t change the fact that there was NO collusion. It’s time to move on. It’s time to focus on ISSUES, not investigations.”

Trump Jr followed that retweet with another of McCarthy telling Democrats: “The Mueller Report is done. Let’s move forward. With the strongest economy that we’ve seen in 50 years, now is the time to work together to solve actual problems.”

Trump Jr.’s next retweet was Republican Sen. Rand Paul (KY), who tweeted in response to the Axios report: “Apparently the Republican chair of the Senate Intel Committee didn’t get the memo from the Majority Leader that this case was closed…”

Trump Jr. also highlighted a tweet from Judicial Watch’s Tom Fitton blasting the Intel Committee chair for letting Democrats run it: “DonaldJTrumpJr subpoenaed by Senate committee for further testimony on fake Russia story. More harassment of @RealDonaldTrump world. Senate Intell Committee effectively being run by minority.”

Lindsey Graham Claims He’ll Go Directly To The Supreme Court To End Harassment Against President Trump

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham is overruling everyone and plans to go directly to the Supreme Court in an attempt to end the harassment against President Trump.

This week, Graham revealed that he will ask Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts to investigate possible abuse of our Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court during the 2016 election.

The FISA court is cloaked in secrecy, meaning most people have no idea who the judges are and only certain members of the government have the authority to provide oversight to the secret court.

Roberts has the authority in his position to appoint judges to the FISA court and has access to documents reviewed by the panel.

Sen. Graham wants Roberts to look into the FISA warrants obtained by the FBI in 2016, which were used to spy on members of President Trump’s campaign, such as Carter Page.

Graham told reporters on Thursday that he will make a call to ask, “‘Would you please look and see what happened?’ because I don’t want to lose the FISA program.”

The Washington Examiner reported that last February, the House Intelligence Committee, then led by Chairman Devin Nunes, released a memo asserting the so-called Trump dossier, which contained unverified claims about President Trump’s ties to Russia, was used by the FBI to help obtain a FISA warrant and three renewals to spy on one-time Trump’s campaign adviser Carter Page. But key information, including its author’s anti-Trump bias and Democratic benefactors, was left out.

Republicans have often cited the use of the dossier as misinformation used to improperly monitor President Trump and his campaign during the months leading up to the 2016 presidential election while the Demos argued in a rebuttal memo that the FISA process was not abused and the Justice Department and FBI “met the rigor, transparency, and evidentiary basis needed to meet FISA’s probable cause requirement.”

Earlier this year, Nunes called on the FISA court to hold the FBI accountable for misleading them about the dossier, arguing that not doing so would do further damage to the credibility of the FISA process.

In March, Lindsey Graham announced a reignited investigation by his committee into alleged FISA abuse, The Washington Examiner’s report continued.

Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz announced the initiation of a FISA abuse investigation back in March 2018 after requests from both then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Republican members in Congress. He is expected to wrap up by May or June.

On Wednesday, attorney general Barr told Congress that he was “working very closely” with the Horowitz as they both conduct investigations into the investigators who ran the Trump-Russia investigation at the Justice Department and FBI.

Graham going directly to the Supreme Court in an attempt to end the harassment against President Trump is a huge deal and could reveal bombshell information about the Obama administration spying on Trump’s campaign.

Lindsey Graham Dares Sanders To Explain Why Charleston Shooter Should Be Granted The Right To Vote

Republican South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham took aim on Tuesday at Independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, suggesting that South Carolinians would not be pleased at the thought of prisoners being allowed to vote.

The former Republican presidential candidate claimed that it might be difficult to explain to the people of South Carolina, still raw from the racially-motivated church shooting perpetrated by Dylann Roof on June 17, 2015, why Bernie Sanders would allow a convicted murderer and self-proclaimed white supremacist to cast his vote.

“Just when you thought it couldn’t get worse….@BernieSanders supports allowing rapists, murderers, and terrorists – like the Boston bomber and Dylan[sic] Roof, the individual who massacred 9 church-goers in Charleston, to vote from prison,” Graham tweeted.

“I look forward to hearing his explanation — in South Carolina — why Dylan[sic] Roof should be allowed to vote in the upcoming elections,” Graham continued.

During a CNN town hall on Monday, Bernie Sanders argued that convicted felons should not just regain the right to vote once they have been released from prison, but should be allowed to cast their vote while they are still serving their time.

Many conservatives were outraged about Bernie Sanders’ proposal. His radical idea was torched on social media moments after he shared it with the public. Few democrats, however, decided to join his idea and shared their support.

Kamala Harris also stated that it’s an opportune time for America to have a conversation about allowing convicts to cast their vote in America’s elections.

When asked by host Don Lemon about fellow presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders’ proposal to let everybody vote, including even the Boston Marathon bomber, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, whose actions killed three people and injured 280 others back in 2013, she replied: “I think we should have that conversation.”
