Nancy Pelosi Claims That Jesus Christ Is Not On The Side Of Trump’s ICE Raids

Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi used another opportunity to slam the President and his politics, this time mixing Jesus and the the ICE raids.

Pelosi used her Sunday Gospel reading to trash President Trump’s planned ICE raids, appearing to suggest that Jesus would not be on the side of law enforcement in this case.

“It should be a sign to us that today’s Catholic Gospel reading is the Good Samaritan, where Jesus teaches us to love our neighbors as ourselves and treat them with mercy,” Nancy Pelosi tweeted. “Trump’s ICE raids today tear families apart -the opposite of mercy.”

Nancy Pelosi’s tweet included a a graphic that provided detailed instructions to migrants with regard to knowing their rights and handling the situation if they should get a knock on the door from ICE agents.

The Daily Caller reported that despite recent tensions between the two Democrats, on this particular topic Nancy Pelosi finds herself in line with freshman Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Meanwhile, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez took things a even further, by planning and organizing “know your rights” canvassing events in her district to help illegal migrants understand what they could and could not do in the event of a potential ICE raid.

What both Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Ocasio-Cortez failed to include in their tweets was the fact that the illegal migrants being targeted in the planned ICE raids already received due process and were remaining in the country in defiance of their legal deportation orders.

In other words, they should’ve been long gone by now, but they decided to stay in our country illegally.

Tom Cotton Blasts Nancy Pelosi’s Deportation Stance: ‘If U.S. Can’t Deport Illegals Who Have Been Ordered Deported, Who Can We Deport?’

“So, that is really kind of what happened. Trump didn’t say what he was going to do but, as the president said, ‘oh, I’ll let you know, I’ll let you know.’ He went into — ‘well, people broke the laws.’ A violation of status is not a reason for deportation. That’s just not so,” Nancy Pelosi said to a stunned audience.

Basically, she is saying that being in the U.S. illegally is not cause for deportation. Well, Tom Cotton who does not suffer these political foolish notions easily, had something to say about that.

Breitbart reported that Sen. Tom Cotton questioned who federal immigration officials are allowed to deport if not illegal immigrants who have already been ordered deported by an immigration judge.

Cotton appeared in an interview with Fox News Sunday‘s Chris Wallace, and asked if the U.S. cannot deport even illegal aliens with final deportation orders, who can be deported? Here is how the exchange went:

WALLACE: President Trump has also delayed a round-up that was supposed to begin today of migrant families that have already been given their deportation orders.

[Trump] says he’s giving Congress two weeks to work out, to reform the asylum system, otherwise, he’ll impose the round-up. I don’t have to tell you, you have a little bit of a look on your face.

The likelihood … you talk about healthy skepticism, Congress isn’t going to reform the asylum system in two weeks, sir. [Emphasis added]

COTTON: So Chris I was just going to say healthy skepticism is warranted when you’re dealing with Democrats on immigration.

Let’s just think about the Democrats’ position here Chris. These are people who have claimed asylum in our country, they’ve had their day in court, they’ve had their claims rejected and now they face a valid and final order of removal.

If we can’t deport people like that, who can we deport? That’s why the Democrats’ position ultimately comes back to, in essence, open borders. [Emphasis added]

WALLACE: So what do you think of the president’s decision to hold off on the round-up of these people who should be deported? [Emphasis added]

COTTON: Two weeks for a couple of thousand families is not going to make a big difference. And if we could get a … genuine law passed through Congress that would address the asylum reforms that we need to stop the crisis at the border, that would be a good thing.

But, again, I go back to this point: If you can’t deport an illegal alien who has a valid and final order for removal that’s adjudicated by an immigration judge, who can you deport? [Emphasis added]

There are more than 1.7 million illegal immigrants with deportation orders or pending deportation orders that are yet to be reported from the United States.

More than 600.000 of the illegal immigrants have final orders for deportation, and more than 1 million illegals from Mexico and Central America have pending deportation orders.

Nancy Pelosi Caves In & Agrees To Take Up Legislation To Increase Emergency Border Funding

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi finally gave the green light to a legislation that would provide aid to our border in response to President Trump’s proposed mass deportations.

Last week, the President announced that he would begin the process of deporting immigrants who were not approved for asylum and stayed in the country illegally. The idea of mass deportations by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) didn’t sit well with the Democrats.

By Saturday, the President announced that he would delay the deportations for two weeks to allow the Dems a chance to propose legislation to reform the asylum practices in our country and increase funding to the border.

“At the request of Democrats, I have delayed the Illegal Immigration Removal Process (Deportation) for two weeks to see if the Democrats and Republicans can get together and work out a solution to the Asylum and Loophole problems at the Southern Border. If not, Deportations start!” President Trump posted on Twitter.

He admitted that he was not too optimistic that the Democrats would actually come to the table with a proposal, but it seems as though they were busy over the weekend coming up with a plan.

“I want to give the Democrats every last chance to quickly negotiate simple changes to Asylum and Loopholes. This will fix the Southern Border, together with the help that Mexico is now giving us. Probably won’t happen, but worth a try. Two weeks and big Deportation begins!” President Trump said.

On late Sunday, Nancy Pelosi announced that she would allow a vote to increase humanitarian aid to the border in order to provide care for the more than 1 million immigrants expected to cross the southern border this financial year.

“This week, the House will advance strong border legislation, which protects vulnerable children and keeps America safe as it honors our values,” Nancy Pelosi wrote in a statement. “Congress continues to insist that families belong together and for immigrant communities to know their rights.”

The speaker also took aim at President Trump, placing blame on his administration for the massive influx of immigrants to the border with Mexico.

“The President’s failed policies have exacerbated the situation at the border, where vulnerable children endure inhumane conditions that threaten their health, well-being and sometimes, tragically, their lives. This legislation provides urgently-needed humanitarian assistance for families, including funding for food, shelter, clothing, medical care and legal assistance, and will relieve the horrific situation of over-crowding and help prevent additional deaths. And we are providing urgent assistance to local communities to help defray their costs of providing humanitarian assistance to asylum seekers.” Said Pelosi.

She also noted that her legislation “does not fund the Administration’s failed mass detention policy.”

Whether or not that will stop the deportations remains to be seen. President Trump made it clear that his motivation to delay the deportations was to get Congress to pass new asylum laws, which Nancy Pelosi’s proposed legislation doesn’t do.

Pelosi Refuses To Condemn Ocasio-Cortez‘s Border Comments – Deflects By Claiming Republicans ‘Will Misrepresent Anything’

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi deflected a question regarding freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez‘s controversial comments, claiming instead that Republicans will “misrepresent anything” a Democrat says.

This Wednesday, while speaking at a breakfast hosted by the Christian Science Monitor, Nancy Pelosi was asked for her thoughts on the self-described democratic socialist’s remarks that compared illegal immigrant detainment facilities at the southern border to concentration camps and whether she has addressed with the freshman members “the power of their words.”

As previously reported, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez claimed in a Live video on Instagram that the centers used to hold illegal immigrants attempting to cross into the U.S. through the border were “exactly” like concentration camps.

House speaker Nancy Pelosi responded by saying that members of Congress “take responsibility” for their “statements” and that she “hasn’t spoken” to Rep. Ocasio-Cortez about her comments before claiming that Republicans “will misrepresent anything” that members in the Democratic caucus say if there is even “one word” they can “exploit.”

“These members of Congress are — they come and represent their districts and their point of view, and they take responsibility for the statements that they make. I’m not up to date on her most recent one, I saw something in the news.” Pelosi said.

“But I — no, I haven’t spoken to her about that. I do have some comments to make to my caucus writ large about the political nature of how politically charged the atmosphere is, so understand that while the Republicans have no interest in holding the president accountable for his words, they will misrepresent anything that you say just if you have one word in the sentence that they can exploit.” She added.

Nancy Pelosi’s refusal to address Rep. Ocasio-Cortez’s remarks isn’t the first time the speaker has tried to flip the script against Republicans after another Democrat’s controversial comment.

Nancy Pelosi and other top Democrats demanded President Trump and House Republicans apologize to Rep. Rashida Tlaib for trying to “misrepresent” her remarks from a recorded interview in which she claimed that she had a “calming feeling” when she thought about the Holocaust because Palestinians gave Jews a “safe haven” after the tragedy.

Mitch McConnell Mocks Nancy Pelosi – Wipes The Floor With Her ‘Graveyard’ Dig

This Thursday, The Washington Examiner reported that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell referred to himself as the “grim reaper” of the Democratic socialist agenda responding to an attack by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

The Kentucky Republican senator stated that he agreed with Nancy Pelosi for perhaps the first time in his life in an interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham on Thursday night. At a press conference on Thursday, Nancy Pelosi referred to Mitch McConnell as the “grim reaper” and showed off a poster of “McConnell’s graveyard” of Democrat bills that the Senate majority leader has refused to vote on.

“She’s got it right. For the first time in my memory, I agree with Nancy Pelosi,” Mitch McConnell said of the California Democrat.

“I am indeed the grim reaper when it comes to the socialist agenda that they have been ginning up over in the House with overwhelming Democratic support and sending it over to America, things that would turn us into a country we’ve never been.” He added.

The Democrat priorities in the House include the Green New Deal, “Medicare for all,” adopting Washington, and Puerto Rico as U.S. states, and expanding the Supreme Court, Mitch McConnell claimed.

“This is full-bore socialism on the march in the House, and, yeah, as long as I am the majority leader of the Senate, none of that stuff is going anywhere,” he said.

Republican Senator Mitch McConnell did bring up the Green New Deal, a resolution pushed by freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, for a vote in March.

The resolution overwhelmingly failed having 0 votes in favor. Every Republican and a few Democrats tallied 57 votes against the proposed measure, while 43 Democrats voted “present” in protest over what they said was a political stunt.

Pelosi Blasts President Trump’s Historic Mexico Deal For Violating Migrant’s Rights

Nancy Pelosi ripped President Donald Trump’s historic deal to stem the tide of migrants into this country for a few lousy reasons.

The Washington Examiner reported that President Donald Trump’s use of tariff threats against Mexico to induce concessions on migration policy was a counterproductive exercise in “threats and temper tantrums,” according to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

“President Trump undermined America’s preeminent leadership role in the world by recklessly threatening to impose tariffs on our close friend and neighbor to the south,” California Democrat Nancy Pelosi said Saturday morning. “Threats and temper tantrums are no way to negotiate foreign policy.”

The 5% tax on all goods imported from Mexico tariffs were scheduled to take effect on Monday. The President issued the threat as the Department of Homeland Security projected that more than 1 million people would be apprehended this year in illegal attempts to cross the southwest border.

“We would like to thank Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard for his hard work to negotiate a set of joint obligations that benefit both the United States and Mexico,” Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Friday night.

“The United States looks forward to working alongside Mexico to fulfill these commitments so that we can stem the tide of illegal migration across our southern border and to make our border strong and secure.”

The agreement calls for Mexico to “take unprecedented steps” and stop Central American immigrants from entering the country on their way north to the U.S., “to include the deployment of its National Guard throughout Mexico, giving priority to its southern border,” according to the State Department.

Mexican officials also agreed that immigrants who reach the U.S. and request asylum “will be rapidly returned to Mexico” while U.S. officials review the petition.

Nancy Pelosi stated that she was “deeply disappointed” by the asylum provisions of the deal, which she claimed “violates the rights of asylum seekers under U.S. law and fails to address the root causes of Central American migration.”

The President predicted on Friday that the deal would “greatly reduce, or eliminate, Illegal Immigration coming from Mexico,” but that claim drew scorn from Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

“Now that that problem is solved, I’m sure we won’t be hearing any more about it in the future,” the New York Democrat replied Friday.

‘She Sounds Like Stalin:’ Alan Dershowitz Ends Nancy Pelosi After She Called For Trump’s Imprisonment

Alan Dershowitz blasted Nancy Pelosi and effectively ended her reign of terror. Recently, Pelosi went too far and took the extraordinary step of calling for President Trump’s imprisonment.

The Washington Examiner reported that Alan Dershowitz criticized Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi after she stated that she wants to see Donald Trump in prison.

“As a liberal Democrat, I am appalled at Nancy Pelosi,” Alan Dershowitz, a civil liberties advocate and former Harvard law professor, stated on Thursday for Fox News.

“The idea of her weaponizing the criminal justice system and calling for the imprisonment of the President of the United States without him being charged with any crime, without him being charged with any impeachable offense. It’s just outrageous.” He added.

“It sounds like the conversation between Stalin and Beria where Beria said to Stalin, ‘Show me the man, and I’ll find you the crime,’” Dershowitz claimed.

“The idea of the most important Democrat in the United States calling for imprisonment of a president is such core violation of civil liberties, the rule of law, and America justice. She ought to be absolutely ashamed of herself,” he said.

Dershowitz’s remarks follow the California Democrat reportedly clamming that she wanted President Trump to be put in prison during a meeting of top Democratic lawmakers on Tuesday.

“I don’t want to see him impeached, I want to see him in prison,” Nancy Pelosi said. She has maintained she would rather see President Trump defeated at the ballot box.

On Thursday, the President responded to her comments by giving her the nickname “Nervous Nancy.”

“I think she is a disgrace,” President Trump said. “I actually don’t think she’s a talented person. I’ve tried to be nice to her because I would have liked to have gotten some deals done. She’s incapable of doing deals. She’s a nasty, vindictive, horrible person.”

Pelosi Brings Up First Lady Melania & Her Parents While Slamming Trump’s Merit-Based Immigration Proposal

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is attacking the president’s immigration proposal and she didn’t mind taking a swipe at his wife and the first lady’s family.

President Trump recently proposed an immigration plan which would include changing from a family-based system to merit-based immigration, which would value and prefer skilled workers and people who speak English.

Speaking to a crowd at the Commonwealth Club of California event on Wednesday, Nancy Pelosi questioned if the first lady Melania and her parents could have become American citizens if Trump’s merit-based system were in place.

“I don’t know if merit counted for when his wife’s family came into the country,” Nancy Pelosi stated. “I don’t know. Maybe it did. God bless them if it did. But he calls that ‘chain migration,’ which he wants to get rid of.”

As the first lady’s immigration lawyer previously told The Hill, she was born in Slovenia and her parents became American citizens after “years” of processing, then garnering the citizenship through the family-based system.

“Should we attach a green card to the diploma of so many scientists and engineers and all the rest and graduate students who train in the U.S. so that they can stay here?” Nancy Pelosi continued.

“Of course. But that’s not the point. The point is that the president does not share the view of even Ronald Reagan and two Bushes in recent history.” She added.

While Nancy Pelosi slammed President Trump’s merit-based immigration proposal, Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw stated that it’s the “right move” because “[…] we should favor higher-skilled workers and give them a leg-up over simple family ties, which is what our current system is.”

The President is expected to offer a “very dramatic” statement on Thursday or the next day on immigration and the current situation on our southern border amid the border crisis as migrant apprehension numbers soar.

Texas Republican Defends Blocking Disaster Aid Bill Nancy Pelosi Tried To Push By Consent

The lone congressional Republican to vote down Speaker of the House Pelosi’s attempt to pass by consent a disaster aid bill that did not provide money to deal with the crisis at the U.S. – Mexico border is defending his move.

This Sunday, Rep. Chip Roy appeared on “Fox and Friends” and explained why he blocked a $19 billion disaster aid bill that Nancy Pelosi tried passing by consent “with no one in the room” last Friday, clamming that the funds in the bill were “unpaid for” and the bill didn’t address the situation taking place at the southern border.

“We headed out for recess on Friday, everybody was heading home… Speaker Pelosi had closed the House of Representatives for the recess. But what she didn’t tell us was that we were going to have a bill coming to the floor of the House of Representatives on Friday that she was going to pass by consent with no one in the room.” He said.

“And that bill was going to have $19 billion in it, unpaid for, and was not going to address the crisis that our country’s dealing with at the border that we’ve talked about many times over.” He added.

“I don’t know about you,” continued Roy. “But in the ‘School House Rock’ video, when they talk about a bill becoming law, it’s supposed to pass both sides of Congress, the House and the Senate, and then go to the president to be signed.”

Rep. Chip Roy added that he voted against the measure as the bill was “not supposed to come through and just be offered by consent” without anybody offering their “discontent” and that Congress “cannot continue to spend billions of dollars we don’t have and be there without the people’s House voting.”

The move garnered Rep. Chip Roy, who is a freshman in the House of Representatives, a lot of attention from both sides of the aisle.

Nancy Pelosi spoke against Chip Roy’s blocking of the bill, calling it a “last-minute sabotage” by the Republicans and “an act of staggering political cynicism.” President Trump has stated that he would sign the measure regardless if it included his requested border funding or not.

Pelosi Loses It After Reporter Asks If She Will Stop Accusing President Trump Of a ‘Cover-Up’

This Thursday during a press conference, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi slammed a journalist who asked her if she would consider no longer using insults against President Trump.

During the conference, NBC News reporter Kelly O’Donnell suggested if the lawmaker could “not use phrases like ‘cover-up,’ or to not, perhaps, provoke him, would you be open to that?”

Nancy Pelosi responded by claiming that President Trump’s reasons for walking out of their meeting were not valid.

“Well, you have bought into his excuse,” Nancy Pelosi said. “That was not a reason that he did that yesterday. That was an excuse for him to do that.”

As previously reported, President Trump walked out of a bipartisan meeting on infrastructure due to Nancy Pelosi’s remarks over the Mueller report and claiming he was involved in a “cover-up” . He stated that he would not work with Democrats until they stopped investigations against him.

Nancy Pelosi addressed the investigations when firing back at O’Donnell, claiming that it was her way of protecting the government.

“And with all due respect to your question. I do not intend to not to honor my oath of office, nor do my colleagues in the House of Representatives, to honor our oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution, which has a system of checks and balances, a separation of power in it, and again, it’s a question of the American people understanding that what he is doing is an assault on the Constitution of the United States.” Pelsoi said.

“We can walk and chew gum at the same time,” Nancy Pelosi said. “I hope he can too.”

President Trump fired back at her comments before the meeting, stating that Dems are now the “do nothing party” because they are so focused on the Mueller report.
