Trump Puts The Left On Notice After Van Plows Into GOP Voter Registration Tent In Florida

Van plowed into a pro-Trump voter registration tent in Jacksonville, Florida. Few hours later, Gregory Timm, the suspect of what people are calling a politically motivated “attempted mass murder” — was arrested.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Gregory William Loel Timm, after he was identified as the person who drove the van through a GOP voter registration tent.

He was charged with aggravated assault, criminal mischief and driving with a suspended license, the Sheriff’s Department tweeted at 2 a.m. Eastern time.

The attack occurred at 3:50 p.m. at a Walmart parking lot, where 6 volunteers from the Duval County Republican Party were registering voters in a tent, as the BP# reported. Near the tent, there were several signs that read “Trump-Pence” and “Join the Landslide: Trump 2020.″

That’s when Timm screeched up in his van, piled through the tent, and knocked it over.

Luckily, no one was killed or injured in the incident. But is did sent shock waves among volunteers, who never expected that they could be killed for registering Trump voters.

“It happened so quickly. I just barely got out of the way,” volunteer Nina Williams told News4Jax.

Another volunteer, Mark Alfieri, said the van came to within six inches of the group.

“Out of the blue, a man approached us in a van, was waving at us, kind of a friendly demeanor,” Alfieri told Action News. “I thought he was coming up to talk to us. Instead he accelerated his vehicle and plowed right into our tent and our tables.”

Alfieri said afterward, Gregory Timm got out of his van and gleefully recorded the damage he had caused on his cell phone. He then gave the volunteers the finger before fleeing the scene.

“After he ran over everything, he backed up, took out a cell phone [and] recorded the damage,” Alfieri recounted. “[He] made some obscene gestures at us and then proceeded to leave the complex.”

President Trump reacted to the attack on Twitter, warning the left that conservatives are not the kind of people you can mess with: “Be careful, tough guys, who you play with!”
