This Sunday Hollywood actress Alyssa Milano found herself in hot water after she compared Vice President Mike Pence to Heinrich Himmler, the architect of the Holocaust, with side-by-side pictures on Twitter.
In a tweet posted on Saturday afternoon, the television show “Who’s the Boss?” posted 2 pictures side-by-side: one from 1941 of Heinrich Himmler surveying a Soviet Union POW camp in World War II and another photo with the VP Mike Pence at the immigrant holding facility in McAllen, Texas.
Alyssa Milano offered no commentary other than a photo credit for the second picture.
As expected, Milano comparing the vice president to one of the leading figures of the Nazi Party who orchestrated the systematic murder of 11 million people disgusted many people on social media.
“You think you are clever posting edited photos side by side. This is not a real argument, anyone can do that.” one user posted. “You mock truth everyday by touting fake outrage. The facts are we have a crisis at the border and it started long, long before” the user added.
“This is absolutely insane. Go educate yourself on the Holocaust, and the American immigration laws, @Alyssa_Milano” another user posted.
“Thank you for your continued contribution to #Trump2020” said another post, thanking the Democrat supporter for contributing to Trump’s 2020 campaign.
On Friday, Vice President Mike Pence toured the immigrant holding facility in McAllen, Texas, where around 400 single men were being detained.
As previously reported, the vice president blasted the Democrats’ claims that immigrant holding facilities at the border with Mexico were akin to concentration camps, calling the comparison “an outrage.”
