Geraldo Rivera On AG Barr’s ‘Bombshell’: Comey, Brennan & Clapper Should Be ‘Shaking In Their Boots’ Right Now

Geraldo Rivera thinks Attorney General Barr’s latest remarks on the origin of Mueller’s investigation should have some former officials “quaking” in their boots.

The Fox News correspondent appeared on “Fox & Friends” and spoke about AG Barr’s “bombshell” statement on Friday that “things are just not jiving” in Robert Mueller’s probe, noting that former FBI Director James Comey, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former CIA chief John Brennan are probably terrified of what may be uncovered.

As previously reported, in an interview with CBS News AG William Barr accused the mainstream media of being uninterested in finding out about the origins of the Trump-Russia probe, and of shirking their duty as watchdogs for the public.

“Some of the facts that I’ve learned don’t hang together with the official explanations of what happened,” Barr told CBS News. “Things are just not jiving.”

“What you just heard is a bombshell,” Geraldo Rivera stated on Friday morning.

“If I were James Comey right now or James Clapper right now or John Brennan right now, I would be quaking in my boots. Why? Because the attorney general of the United States has set his target on you,” he said.

“He wants to know why you started this counterintelligence investigation of the Trump candidacy,” Rivera added. “How long did you sustain that investigation of the Trump candidacy, the Trump transition, the Trump Administration? What tools were employed? What foreign assets were employed? What spies indeed were employed to, for you to have this investigation of the president into whether or not the president of the United States was a spy? Was a Russian asset, was a traitor to his nation?”

Rivera’s litany of questions was followed by the conclusion that, “This is big stuff.”

AG Barr’s comments “should send ripples of fear and apprehension” to Clapper, Comey, and Brennan,” he claimed. “I wouldn’t be surprised if their document shredders weren’t going overtime.”

Barr’s interview followed a rare public statement from Robert Mueller on Wednesday acknowledging his resignation and reiterating the findings of his report which only served to stoke the fire for those calling for President Trump’s impeachment.

Rivera fired off another round of questions that Attorney General William Barr is likely wanting answers to.

“The attorney general wants to know why you started this investigation into President Trump, why you sustained this investigation against President Trump. Why didn’t you tell the president of the United States what you knew to a reasonable certainty that there was no collusion with the Russians?” Rivera asked.

“Why didn’t you tell the president then? Why did you treat the president of the United States as an enemy of the state?” Rivera demanded.

He also called out the mainstream media for playing down the importance of AG Barr’s questions, blasting the liberal media’s characterization of the new investigation as routine. “B.S. This is big stuff!” he exclaimed. “Why? Because they did something fundamentally suspect.”

Cease-And-Desist Order Stops All Work On Private Border Wall: ‘This Is Why We Kept It Quiet’

“We Build the Wall,” the private group that started building a border wall along a section of the U.S. – Mexico border over Memorial Day weekend, has run into a slight problem: Bureaucracy.

Launched by triple-amputee Air Force veteran Brian Kolfage and backed by former Trump administration adviser Steve Bannon and former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, the private group allegedly didn’t obtain the required permits from the city of Sunland Park before starting construction and has therefore been issued a cease-and-desist letter, as reports say.

“The city has not provided any permits, it has not approved of the construction that has gone up already. They built the structure without authority or any building permits from the city,” Peter Ibardo, Sunland Park city spokesperson stated for The Texas Tribune on Tuesday.

On Tuesday while speaking with local station KDBC, Sunland Park Mayor Javier Perea stated that the wall is built on private property but then admitted that the owner of the property submitted a permit application last Friday on behalf of “We Build the Wall.” However, he also claimed that the information provided in the application was incomplete.

“The staff has been reviewing those particular documents and have determined at this point it’s incomplete and the construction of the wall at this point is in violation of city ordinances,” he said.

Perea also stated that city inspectors were denied access to the construction city on Thursday.

New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham also issued a statement regarding the subject on Tuesday. Few days earlier Grisham traveled to Washington, to ask the Trump administration to pay for her to take care of the thousands of illegals who’ve been flooding her state.

“A multi-faceted and strategic approach is required for establishing and enhancing border security as well as dealing with the humanitarian crisis on our southern border,” she said.

“No president, no federal administration has done enough on these fronts in recent decades, and certainly not in recent months. But to act as though throwing up a small section of wall on private land does anything to effectively secure our southern border from human- and drug-trafficking or address the humanitarian needs of the asylum seekers and local communities receiving them — that’s nonsense. It takes us farther away from where we all need to be.”

https://twitter.com/BrianKolfage/status/1133470085744664577?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

Just to be clear, the work that’s being done in Sunland Park is only the beginning of construction. The group reportedly plans to continue using the money that it raised to extend the wall as much further as possible.

What is unclear is why she has chosen to involve herself in this local dispute, especially given the issues her state has been facing. During a visit to Washington, last week, she begged the Trump administration to reimburse communities in her state for the money they’ve expended taking care of the illegals aliens who were able to cross the unsecured southern border and set up shop in their communities.

Tuesday evening , Kolfage, the man who launched the private group back in December, took to Twitter and blasted both Sunland Park officials and the New Mexico governor for “trying to flex”:

Because of the cease-and-desist letter, all work on the southern wall has reportedly come to a stop at the moment, with both sides reportedly preparing to take the issue to court.

Joy Behar & Whoopi Goldberg Get Censored By ABC For Their Dirty Trump Rants

This Tuesday mourning, “The View” co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar were censored multiple times for using profanity while criticizing President Trump.

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg was bleeped out for a few seconds during a segment about President Trump’s various attacks on Democratic presidential candidates, with her and Joy Behar expressing bewilderment over the President attacking Joe Biden as “Sleepy Joe.”

“I just think people are tired of it and…” Goldberg said of President Trump’s attacks before being bleeped out, with the other co-hosts and the audience laughing while her audio was cut out for a few seconds before the show went to commercials.

Then, during a discussion about the President attacking Joe Biden’s support for the controversial 1994 crime bill, which was credited with contributing to the mass incarceration of African-Americans, co-host Joy Behar was censored while calling out what she saw as President Trump’s hypocrisy on racial issues.

Joy Behar stated that not only did former New York City mayor and the President’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani support the law at the time, but President Trump took out full-page ads in the New York Times calling for the death penalty for the so-called “Central Park Five,” a group of young black and Latino men falsely imprisoned and later exonerated for a rape they didn’t commit, as reported by Business Insider.

“Black people know about Charlottesville,” she said, referring to the President’s controversial response to the white supremacist gatherings in the summer of 2017. “And they know about him saying that (bleeped out) and all the racism, and all the stuff that he says.”

Mediaite reported that in each of the first two segments of the ABC daytime talk show, the audio was cut off for a portions of the broadcast. First, Whoopi Goldberg was censored few moments before she threw to the show’s first commercial break. The audio cut out four times as Goldberg was blasting President Trump for some of the insulting nicknames he has applied to his 2020 rivals.

Later on the show, co-host Joy Behar was cut off for two seconds during a rant about President Trump trying to court black voters by attacking former Joe Biden over his role in getting the 1994 crime bill passed.

Prominent Meteorologist Shuts Down Ocasio-Cortez & Her Wild Climate Claims

A prominent research meteorologist shuts down claims about the climate from socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez after the 29-year-old lawmaker revealed that she did not understand the difference between weather and climate.

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez is a climate extremist who has insisted that the world will seemingly end in 12 years unless her policies are adopted. She also claimed that a tornado warning in Washington, was proof of climate change.

“A tornado watch, issued by the National Weather Service was tweeted 2:47 PM Thursday afternoon for the D.C. area. A watch means conditions are favorable for a particular weather event, while a warning means be prepared to move to a protected area,” HotAir noted. “A warning is issued when a tornado, for example, has been spotted in the sky or radar shows intense low-level rotation. In other words, a person should pay attention to weather conditions and be cautious under a watch but if a warning is issued, that is the time to act.”

“The climate crisis is real y’all,” Rep. Ocasio said on Instagram. “Guess we’re at casual tornadoes in growing regions of the country?”

Enter Ryan Maue, a an with a Ph.D. in meteorology, quickly fact-checked Rep. Ocasio-Cortez, posting on Twitter: “I thought this was fake but it’s from [Ocasio-Cortez’s] Instagram story. No idea what she means with “casual tornadoes” and how this line of severe thunderstorms is proof of any ‘climate crisis.’ It’s just the weather in D.C.”

https://twitter.com/RyanMaue/status/1131717726328823810

“The Congresswoman [Ocasio-Cortez] does not know the difference between weather and climate,” Ryan Maue added. “Let’s try an easy analogy: Weather is what outfit you wear heading out the door. Climate is your closet wardrobe.”

What’s even funnier is that the PBS article that Ocasio-Cortez “referenced in her Instagram story doesn’t concur that increased tornado activity is the result of climate change,” HotAir added.

Many prominent climate change scientists have pushed back on Ocasio-Cortez’s extremist rhetoric. Here are some of their quotes as reported by Axios:

  • Andrea Dutton, a paleoclimate researcher at the University of Florida: “For some reason the media latched onto the 12 years (2030), presumably because they thought that it helped to get across the message of how quickly we are approaching this and hence how urgently we need action. Unfortunately, this has led to a complete mischaracterization of what the report said.”
  • Gavin Schmidt, who leads NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies: “All the time-limited frames are bulls***. Nothing special happens when the ‘carbon budget’ runs out or we pass whatever temperature target you care about, instead the costs of emissions steadily rise.”
  • Kate Marvel, a climate scientist at NASA: “12 years isn’t a deadline, and climate change isn’t a cliff we fall off — it’s a slope we slide down. We don’t have 12 years to prevent climate change — we have no time. It’s already here. And even under a business-as-usual scenario, the world isn’t going to end in exactly twelve years.”

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez recently backed off from her claim that the world will end in 12 years if her policies were not adopted by the government after she ended up on the receiving end of mockery for several months.

“This is a technique of the GOP, to take dry humor + sarcasm literally and ‘fact check’ it,” Ocasio-Cortez posted. “Like the ‘world ending in 12 years’ thing, you’d have to have the social intelligence of a sea sponge to think it’s literal. But the GOP is basically Dwight from The Office so who knows.”

Alyssa Milano Blasts Jon Voight For Praising Trump: ‘Nobody Cares What An Out Of Touch Actor Thinks’

Actress Alyssa Milano slammed her fellow actor Jon Voight, calling him an “F-lister trying to stay relevant,” but the raging liberal never expected her career assessment to blow up against her.

Voight’s offense was that he posted two videos supportive of the President online. In the videos, he claimed that Trump “has made his every move correct,” calling him “the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln.”

Alyssa Milano tried to be cute in her bash of the Oscar-winning 80-year-old actor, quoting comments tweeted in response to a Twitter Moments post about Voight’s comments.

“Now I understand why Republicans like to discredit actors and our political views.”
“Stay in your lane, Jon!”
“Has been!”
“F-lister trying to stay relevant!”
“Nobody cares what an out of touch actor thinks!” she tweeted.

As for Milano’s comments, she’s not exactly an A-list actress herself. In fact, she not much of an actress at all lately, which could explain why she is more obsessed with liberal activism than with her acting career.

The fact that Jon Voight is still working is a pretty remarkable. And he clearly addressed the “people of the Republican party” in the first video, warning them not to “be fooled by the political left.”

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp blasted Alyssa Milano as a “C-list” celebrity, her sex strike came after his state passed a heartbeat bill that effectively bans abortions after 6 weeks.

“We’re elected to do what’s right, and standing up for precious life is always the right thing to do,” Kemp said. “We are the party of freedom and opportunity. We value and protect innocent life — even though that makes C-list celebrities squawk.”

Many conservatives were not happy with Milano’s remarks. They slammed her on Twitter minutes after she posted the response.

Liz Cheney Blasts FBI Officials Who Wanted To ‘Stop’ The President: ‘Sounds Awful Lot Like a Coup’

This Sunday, Rep. Liz Cheney appeared on ABC’s “This Week” and laid into statements made by FBI officials that she believes sound “an awful lot like a coup.”

Rep. Cheney expressed her concerns about the origins on the investigation into the Russian collusion to host Martha Raddatz and called into question text messages between FBI agent Peter Strzok and former FBI lawyer Lisa Page, which sparked concerns of political bias.

“I think what is really, crucially important to remember here is that you had Strzok and Page, who were in charge of launching this investigation, and they were saying things like, ‘We must stop this president. We need an insurance policy against this president,’” Rep. Cheney pointed out.

“That in my view, when you have people who are in the highest echelons of the law enforcement of this nation saying things like that, that sounds an awful lot like a coup, and it could well be treason, and I think that we need to know more.” She said.

Rep. Cheney continued to add that Americans also need to know what Comey and McCabe’s “role in all this” was and called to allow Attorney General Barr to figure out what happened.

“Think about the fact that we had people that are at the highest levels of our law enforcement in this nation saying that they were going to stop a duly elected president of the United States, saying they needed an insurance policy against him, that is something that simply cannot happen,” she said.

“We have to have confidence in our law enforcement, and the attorney general has got to get to the bottom of what happened, how it was that those people were allowed to misuse and abuse their power that way,” Rep. Cheney continued.

Rep. Cheney was referring to text messages exchanged between Strzok and Page during the investigation in which they agreed they’d “stop” President Trump from taking the Oval Office.

Her mention of McCabe echoes Sen. Lindsey Graham’s concerns after the former acting FBI director revealed the agency considered invoking the 25th Amendment to remove Donald Trump from office. As previously reported, he asked at the time, “Was this an attempted bureaucratic coup?”
