Gen. Flynn Posted A Video Of His Grandson Reciting The “Pledge Of Allegiance” Minutes After DOJ Drops Case Against Him

Justice is sweet. And that’s exactly what General Mike Flynn portrayed in a video he posted on social media after the case against him was dropped by the Department of Justice.

On Thursday, the DOJ dropped its case against former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, in a stunning development that comes after internal memos were released raising serious questions about the nature of the investigation that led to Flynn’s late 2017 guilty plea of lying to the FBI, Fox News reported.

The announcement came in a court filing “after a considered review of all the facts and circumstances of this case, including newly discovered and disclosed information,” as the department put it.

DOJ officials said they concluded that Flynn’s interview by the FBI was “untethered to, and unjustified by, the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into Mr. Flynn” and that the interview was “conducted without any legitimate investigative basis.”

Right as news began to circulate on the DOJ’s decision, Gen. Flynn uploaded a video of his young grandson holding an American flag while reciting the “Pledge of Allegiance”.

Flynn captioned it, “My grandson Travis…”and JUSTICE for ALL”. Video below:

Not a Single Obama Official Had Any Evidence Trump-Russia Collusion, Accused POTUS Anyway

Former President Obama’s spy chief and other top national security and law enforcement officials testified that they didn’t see direct evidence of Trump-Russia collusion, according to newly released House Intelligence Committee transcripts.

Here is what The Washington Examiner reported: James Clapper, the director of National Intelligence for most of Obama’s presidency, told the committee in July 2017 that he “never saw any direct empirical evidence” of any member of then-candidate Donald Trump’s campaign “plotting/conspiring” with the Russian government.

“That’s not to say that there weren’t concerns about the evidence we were seeing, anecdotal evidence, [REDACTED]. But I do not recall any instance where I had direct evidence of the content of these meetings. It’s just the frequency and prevalence of them was of concern,” he said, according to one of the 57 transcripts released on Thursday.

But Clapper painted a much more dramatic picture as a CNN contributor. In May 2019, he appeared to contradict his sworn testimony.

“What was the Trump campaign doing at the same time?” Clapper said. “Essentially aiding and abetting the Russians and having contacts — dozens of contacts — with Russians, some of whom were connected officially to Russian intelligence, and not reporting it.”

These terms, to “aid” or “abet” a foreign power such as Russia, fall under the U.S. criminal code and potentially serious criminal penalties.

CNN host Brooke Baldwin interrupted Clapper to make that point. “Not legally aiding and abetting. To be clear, though, not meeting the legal definition of aiding and abetting,” she said.

Clapper backed off, saying, “Well, I’m using that in a parochial — or a colloquial sense, I guess.”

Robert Mueller’s special counsel report, released in April 2019, shows his investigation found the Russians interfered in the 2016 election in a “sweeping and systematic fashion,” but his team “did not establish” any criminal conspiracy between Trump’s campaign and Russia. No one was ever charged with Russia collusion.

With the release of dozens of years-old witness transcripts from the House Intelligence Committee’s own investigation, Chairman Adam Schiff claimed they “richly detail evidence of the Trump campaign’s efforts to invite, make use of, and cover up Russia’s help in the 2016 presidential election.” This is consistent with statements the California Democrat has made over the years, taking about there being “direct evidence” of collusion.

But the transcripts of interviews with top Obama administration officials tell a different story.

Susan Rice, who served as Obama’s national security adviser, testified in September 2017 that she hadn’t seen evidence of Trump-Russia collusion during questioning by former Rep. Trey Gowdy of South Carolina.

“So, to repeat the question, do I recall seeing any intelligence prior to my separation from government that indicated or suggested that Donald Trump per se conspired with Russia?” Rice asked.

Gowdy added: “To interfere with or influence the 2016 election.”

“I don’t recall intelligence that I would consider evidence to that effect that I saw prior — of conspiracy prior to my departure,” Rice said.

Gowdy followed up: “Was there something that you don’t consider intelligence — other forms of evidence?”

“Not that I specifically recall,” Rice said.

Rice gave the same denial as Gowdy used the words “collude,” “conspire,” and “coordinate.”

When asked by if there was evidence of any of this for Trump’s campaign, Rice answered, “Potentially.” The following back-and-forth between Gowdy and Rice remains mostly redacted.

Ben Rhodes, Obama’s longtime deputy national security advisory, testified in October 2017 and similarly told Gowdy that he did not see evidence of “collusion,” “coordination,” or “conspiracy” between Trump and the Russian government.

“No,” Rhodes admitted when asked. “l think — again, I think, I mean, basically, as I answered it, I saw indications of potential coordination, but I did not see, you know, the specific evidence of the actions of the Trump campaign.”

Gowdy asked whether “evidence of potential coordination” was “synonymous with coincidence, or is it something more intentional than that?”

Rhodes said: “I mean, I don’t know the answer to that. I mean, you know, I think that’s why these investigations have to get to the bottom of it.”

Gowdy asked whether the answer by Rhodes would be different for Trump’s campaign, and he said, “No.”

Loretta Lynch, Obama’s former attorney general, also testified in October 2017, repeatedly telling a congressional questioner, whose identity is masked, that she not been “briefed up” on evidence of collusion. She did appear to speak to some evidence of coordination she may have seen, but much of it is redacted, and she seemed to back down under questioning.

“Was there any information, albeit from [CIA] Director [John] Brennan, [FBI] Director [James] Comey — then-Director Comey, [FBI] Deputy Director [Andrew] McCabe, or any other individuals in the lC [intelligence community] that you spoke with that had or showed specific information that Putin and Russia had a connection or relationship with anyone in the Trump campaign or Trump affiliates?” the congressional questioner asked.

“Well, other than the information I provided? You know, I don’t have a recollection of that being briefed up to me, but — so I would say I don’t have that recollection,” Lynch said.

The questioner pushed Lynch on whether she ever came across “any information that would show an actual coordinated effort” between the Russian government and Trump’s campaign. Lynch said, “I don’t recall anything being briefed up to me.”

The questioner then asked about any “conspiracy” or “collusion” between the Trump campaign and the Russians.

“Well, you know, l wouldn’t have been drawing those legal conclusions at that time, in any event, so regardless of what information that I gave, because you would have to wait, and sort of look at a whole host of things,” Lynch testified. “And again, I don’t recall that being briefed up to me, which isn’t to say — so I can’t say that it existed or not.”

Sally Yates, Obama’s deputy attorney general, testified before the committee in November 2017, telling Gowdy that the Justice Department had not reached a conclusion on Trump-Russia collusion.

“It was in the early stages of what I would call determining — trying to determine relevant facts, rather than being able to reach a conclusion about whether there was any of the three Cs that you’ve got there: coordination, collusion, or conspiracy,” Yates said, adding, “I don’t believe anybody had reached a conclusion yet as to whether there was a nefarious alliance, for lack of not using your three Cs here, whether there was a nefarious alliance with the Russians.”

Samantha Power, Obama’s ambassador to the United Nations, repeatedly attempted to dodge Gowdy’s efforts to get an answer out of her about her assessment of Trump-Russia collusion when she testified in October 2017. “I don’t feel as if I can accurately or fairly answer the question ‘yes’ or ‘no,'” she said.

Power said she did not have any knowledge that others would not possess.

“I mean, because the intelligence that I received came from the intelligence community, I had no — anything that would have come to me would have been in their possession first. They would have provided that … So, I am not in possession of anything else that — any other information that came from, for instance, my diplomatic colleagues or from other sources,” Power said, adding, “I am not in possession and didn’t read or absorb information that came from outside the intelligence community.”

Graham Ends Schiff’s Terror, Details How Russia Investigation Was A Fraud From Day One

With so many competing narratives and salacious leaks coming from the swamp in DC, it’s becoming very hard to discern the truth. Both sides leak and both sides spin and one must question if the joke is not on us because it seems behind closed doors most of the swamp just wants to make money.

That said, it is important to remember what happened in 2016 if for no other reason that we make sure it never happens again, And if the Mueller investigation was a fraud from day 1 then Adam Schiff is a fraud too because he ked the charge to investigate this and he has been fingered as the biggest leaker in DC – but he was selective in his leaks usually leaving out the parts that cleared President Trump and leaked the parts that “looked bad.”

“The memo to Mueller from Rosenstein was given to me fully by Attorney General Barr virtually unredacted,” Lindsey started.

“So now we know that the scope of the investigation was to look at Carter Page, former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, George Papadopoulos, and former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort as to whether or not they were working with the Russians.”

“Now, this is in August of 2017.”

“In January of 2017,” Graham continued, “the subsource disavowed the Christopher Steele dossier.”

“And without the dossier, there is no FISA warrant.”

“So they knew that the Carter Page thing was a fraud.”

“They wanted to close the case against Flynn. We have Papadopoulos on record denying working with the Russians, saying to do so would be treason.”

“So the foundation for the Mueller investigation is crumbling.”

“The legal foundation to justify Mueller’s appointment in my view does not exist,” Graham added.

“That’s why this memo is so important. They name four people.”

“Rosenstein tells Mueller to look at four people on August 2nd, 2017. Carter Page is one of the four.”

“In January, eight months before the subsource disavowed the dossier, there was no legal justification to suspect Carter Page of being a Russian agent because it all depended on the dossier. And that crumbled in January.”

“Flynn’s case was looked at by the FBI field office in Washington, January the 4th of 2017,” Graham added.

“They said there’s no reason to believe he is doing anything wrong , so there is no legitimate reason to believe any of these four were working with the Russians on August 2nd, 2017.”

“Therefore, the entire Mueller investigation was illegitimate to begin with. That’s very important.”

Joy Behar Shames ABC With New Attack On Trump, Says POTUS Doesn’t Care If People Die – Only Re-election

“The View” co-host Joy Behar humiliated herself again with her new attack on President Trump, claiming that he only cares for being re-elected.

“So, Joy what was your take away with all this? What was Trump trying to accomplish with this interview?” Co-host Whoopi asked hoping for a cheap shot.

“Well, I know he is trying to change the conversation from the virus to the economy. So, that is his ultimate goal is basically to be re-elected,” Joy Behar said shocked at her own damn common sense.

“That’s his whole thing because no president has ever been re-elected in a bad economy.”

“But it’s interesting,” Behar whined on.

“What he fails to see is that if you open the economy this is what I think that if you open the economy more people will die.”

“They really don’t seem to care about that. His attitude is, and the Republican leaders that are propping him up, their attitude is let people die as long as it’s not us.”

“They Trump and GOP don’t care because they are getting tested on a regular basis, and they are all protecting themselves,” Joy said.

“But the rest of us can go to hell.”

“But the more you open the economy, the more virus you are gonna have, more cases,” Behar said.

“That only sets the economy back. So, he’s not just a malignant narcissist, he’s also a very bad tactician because it’s going to make the economy worse in the end as we get closer to November.”

“So, I don’t know what he is trying to do but it’s not going to work,” Joy said.

“Meghan what did you take away from this?” Goldberg asked.

“Look, Arizona is reopening right now,” McCain answered. “I have friends who I saw on Instagram who are working out at the gym and getting their nails done…sort of going back to life. What Joy was just saying ‘if we open up the economy people die’ well if we don’t open up the economy people are going to starve.”

“Of course there is the chance that disease is going spread but it’s a horrible Catch-22 and we’ve been out of work too long.”

DNI Richard Grenell Overrules Schiff, Will Release The Secret Transcripts Himself If Adam Refuses To Follow Through On Promise

Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell overruled Adam Schiff and stated that if Schiff doesn’t release key transcripts from his Russia investigation, Grenell will do it himself.

Grenell sent a letter to chairman Adam Schiff telling him that transcripts of all 53 interviews have been cleared for public release: “All of the transcripts, with our required redactions, can be released to the public without any concerns of disclosing classified material,” Grenell wrote before telling Schiff he will do it himself if Adam does not follow through on his promise to release them.

DNI TO SCHIFF: THE TRANSCRIPTS ARE READY TO RELEASE. A big development in the fight over 53 secret interviews the House Intelligence Committee conducted during its Trump-Russia investigation. Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell has sent a letter to chairman Adam Schiff notifying him that transcripts of all 53 interviews, over 6,000 pages in all, have been cleared for public release.

“All of the transcripts, with our required redactions, can be released to the public without any concerns of disclosing classified material,” Grenell wrote to Schiff in a letter dated May 4, as the Washington Examiner reported.

The Intel Committee did the first probe into Russia’s 2016 campaign interference and allegations of Trump-Russia collusion. Even today, its findings make up most of what we know about the affair. As part of that investigation — it was run by then-majority Republicans — the committee interviewed some key witnesses in the Trump-Russia matter: Donald Trump Jr., Steve Bannon, Andrew McCabe, Sally Yates, Michael Cohen, Hope Hicks, and many more.

In a rare moment of comity, Democrats agreed, and on September 26, 2018, the committee voted unanimously to release the transcripts. But there was a catch: The documents would have to first be checked for classified information by the Intelligence Community. So off they went to the IC — never to be seen again.

Now, in May 2020, they’re still secret. Two weeks ago, the Wall Street Journal editorial board reported that the IC had finished its review of 43 of the transcripts, but Schiff was refusing to release them.

The paper said Schiff was also preventing declassification of the remaining ten transcripts.

In the letter, Grenell revealed that the 43 transcripts have been finished since June 2019. Schiff has been sitting on them all that time. Grenell said the final ten have just been finished as well.

“I urge you to honor your previous public statements, and your committee’s unanimous vote on this matter, to release all 53 cleared transcripts to Members of Congress and the American public as soon as possible,” Grenell said. Just in case Schiff is still not interested, Grenell added, “I am also willing to release the transcripts directly from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, as to ensure we comply with the unanimous and bipartisan vote to release the transcripts.”

Democrat Rep Who Supported Public Beach Closures Spotted On Private Beach in Orange County

California Rep. Harley Rouda has recently been seen on a private beach in Orange County despite supporting Gov. Gavin Newsom’s criticism of those communities that opened beaches to the public during the coronavirus pandemic.

Last week, Newsom ordered all beaches in Orange County to be shut down temporarily after photos and reports surfaced showing beach-goers apparently violating social distancing guidelines.

Communities argued that people were following “social distancing” rules and stated that they had taken steps to increase law enforcement while keeping beaches open.

Last Thursday, Rouda, whose district includes parts of Orange County, praised Newsom while criticizing the reopening of beaches in a statement.

“Opening beaches to thousands of Southern Californians during a weekend heat-wave without adequate social-distancing protocols was a reckless action that put the families of California’s 48th district in harm’s way,” Rouda, a Democrat, said in the statement.

But Rouda was himself seen at a private beach in Orange County last weekend, according to CBS News campaign reporter Musadiq Bidar.

Rouda’s campaign manager said in a statement that the congressman and his family “were actively moving and adequately socially distancing on a residential beach, which has explicitly outlined beach access requirements in accordance with Governor Newsom’s beach order.”

In his statement last week, Rouda said that Orange County beaches “cannot remain vacant and shuttered until a vaccine is developed” and called on local leaders to start “drafting plans to safely and gradually relax stay-at-home orders.”

“Orange County’s pristine beaches are more than tourist attractions — they are essential public spaces, like parks, that residents should be allowed to utilize safely,” Rouda’s statement read.

President Trump Overrules Maxine Waters, Denies Her Key Witness: “It’s a Set Up, Democrats Should Be Ashamed”

President Trump overruled Maxine Waters and checkmated Nancy Pelosi along with the hapless Dems attempts to politicize the crisis we are all facing.

The Dems are looking for political dirt on every corner to hammer President Trump and the GOP during the upcoming election – they claim they want answers but we all know the game and President Trump will simply not allow them to play it.

Pelosi and Maxine will be helpless to do anything as they have limited power to compel Trump and if they try to play games with future bailout packages the American people will send them a brutal message in November.

Trump said announcing the move,

“They put every Trump hater on the committee, the same old stuff. They frankly want our situation to be unsuccessful, which means death, and our situation’s going to be very successful.”

“The House has put on a committee, an oversight committee, of Maxine Waters and Maloney and the same people, and it’s just a set-up.”

“But Dr. Fauci will be testifying in front of the Senate, and he looks forward to doing that.”

“But the House I will tell you, the House should be ashamed of themselves. And frankly, the Democrats should be ashamed, because they don’t want us to succeed. They want us to fail so they can win an election.”

Axios reported that Trump told reporters Tuesday that he won’t let Anthony Fauci testify before the House of Representatives because it’s “a set-up” with a “bunch of Trump haters.”

Driving the news: The White House told the House on Monday that members of the administration’s coronavirus task force won’t be allowed to testify in May, claiming that it would divert resources from the pandemic response. Trump said Tuesday Fauci will instead be testifying in front of the Senate.

Flashback: Fauci testified in March that that the current system of making coronavirus testing available in the U.S. was not set up in a way that it needed it to be, calling it a “failing.”

The big picture: The House has established a select committee to conduct oversight over the Trump administration’s coronavirus response. Speaker Nancy Pelosi attacked the White House’s decision to block members of the coronavirus task force from testifying on Monday, claiming that the administration “might be afraid of the truth.”

Jim Jordan Demands FBI Director To Explain Actions In Flynn Counterintelligence Probe

Rep. Jim Jordan, the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, demands FBI Director Christopher Wray to review the bureau’s investigation into whether former national security adviser Michael Flynn acted as a Russian agent.

Jordan and another Republican on the panel, Rep. Mike Johnson, asked Wray in a letter to produce all FBI documents that refer to “Crossfire Razor,” the FBI’s code name for Flynn.

“We write to request that you immediately review the actions of the FBI in targeting LTG Flynn,” the Republicans wrote to Wray.

The letter was sent after revelations that the FBI determined by early 2017 that there was no evidence Flynn, a retired lieutenant general, worked as a Russian agent during President Donald Trump’s campaign. The bureau kept the investigation open, however, at the request of Peter Strzok, the former deputy chief of FBI counterintelligence, as the BPR reported.

Other documents released last week show that top FBI officials strategized before a Jan. 24, 2017, interview with Flynn at the White House.

“What is our goal? Truth/Admission or to get him to lie so we can prosecute him or get him fired?” reads a handwritten memo from Bill Priestap, who served as the FBI’s chief of counterintelligence.

Jordan and Johnson asserted in their letter to Wray that the FBI “facilitated an incorrect public impression of alleged Trump campaign collusion with Russia.”

Jordan and Johnson asked Wray to facilitate interviews with Priestap, who retired from the FBI in 2018, and Pientka, the FBI agent who took part in the Flynn interview along with Strzok.

They also asked the chief of FBI to disclose when he first learned that his officials might have delayed the disclosure of exculpatory information related to Flynn.

Ken Starr Rips FBI Leaders: They Were Out To Get Trump And Flynn Case Proves It

Ken Starr just dropped the hammer on the top brass at the FBI and said they were out to get Trump and the people in his administration.

“I think this is all about the president of the United States and the effort to obstruct the administration and the effort to do everything that they can to make the path forward for the president of the United States, including the Russia investigation, as difficult as possible,” Ken Starr said, as Fox News reported.

“It was very, very immoral and unethical.”

“It’s a confirmation that this was a very unrighteous, if not outright unlawful, effort by Jim Comey’s FBI,”

Starr noted that FBI agents “wanted to close this part of the investigation down, they were overruled.”

“That is simply wrong,” he continued.

“It may be unlawful, but it certainly is highly unprofessional and is total unfairness to the former national security adviser whose career was ruined.”

Starr added that it was also “unfair to the country.”

Host Brian Kilmeade asked Starr what he thought of the FBI’s actions, “What does it make you think?”

“It makes me think that there may actually be criminal culpability on the part, maybe, the presumption of innocence, but this is wrong,” Starr said.

“It is so incredibly wrong at a moral and professional level.”

Starr asked, “How could senior people in the FBI engage in this kind of obstructive conduct?”

“If it doesn’t meet all of the elements of obstruction of justice, it comes pretty darn close, but at a minimum, it shows they were out to get General Flynn,” he continued.

He then made clear that “they” refers to the senior leadership of the FBI. “That means they were out to get the Trump administration,” Starr said.

After Pelosi Refused To Do It, McCarthy Released His Plan To Re-Open Congress Safely

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy admitted Congress “will look and feel different” but must reopen as he revealed details of a plan to get the House of Representatives back to work.

The California Republican and some of his colleagues from the GOP released details of the plan even as the Senate returns to work in the Capitol on Monday and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi continues to delay the return of House members.

“This pandemic has claimed too many lives and livelihoods already. We must not allow the institution we are tasked with safeguarding to be the next,” McCarthy, along with Reps. Tom Cole and Rodney Davis wrote in “A Plan for the People’s House” released Monday.

“In the interim, a bipartisan taskforce has been convened — on which we are all serving — to further explore ways in which Congress can operate during this challenging time. While differences remain, it has become clear through our initial meetings that all members of our taskforce share several fundamental beliefs,” McCarthy wrote.

Those “beliefs” were listed as a view that “the business of the People’s House is ‘essential work’ that must not be sidelined or ground to a halt,” that the “intrinsic value” of Congress meeting in person “should be dutifully guarded” and that any changes to the institutions “should be done in a deliberate and bipartisan way.”

Nancy Pelosi has pushed back to May 11 a return to business for the House as Democrats still fearful of the coronavirus pandemic have resisted efforts to return sooner, earning plenty of backlash and rebukes for considering themselves more valuable than healthcare workers and others who have daily put their lives on the line.

McCarthy’s plan included suggested forms of safety protocols such as plexiglass dividers as well as temperature checks and testing for COVID-19. A phased return with committees, and rotation of hearing rooms as well would help to “reduce density and congestion,” the plan noted.

“Just as our states are employing a phased reopening approach, Congress should do so as well — beginning with committees and subcommittees as the engines of regular order,” McCarthy wrote. “Each committee should present an outline to the Majority Leader detailing their projected business meetings for the month ahead, along with estimated attendance levels.”

“Before we rush to discard over 200 years of precedent, we should require that rigorous testing standards be met, ample feedback be provided, and bipartisan rules of the road be agreed upon and made public to truly safeguard minority rights,” McCarthy and the lawmakers wrote.

The plan also called for risk mitigation practices to be “accelerated.”

“We fully appreciate the extraordinary nature of the challenge before us,” they concluded.

“However, when it comes to fundamentally altering how the House operates — in this case, potentially abandoning the Capitol for the remainder of the 116th Congress under the introduced Democratic proposal — every avenue should first be explored that preserves enduring institutional rules while prioritizing member health,” they wrote. “This pandemic has claimed too many lives and livelihoods already. We must not allow the institution we are tasked with safeguarding to be the next.”
