President Trump is a fighter. Always has been and always will be. In particular, he loves a good fight in the media as he is good at that.
He also doesn’t give a damn, and in an age of scripted appearances and every word poll-tested, that gives him a tremendous advantage over his opponents.
So when he is feuding with someone in public it is always best to stay out of it, something Nikki Haley may have just learned the hard way.
Kellyanne’s response is interesting, almost an acknowledgment about the 2020 Haley talk. There were rumors she was considering a primary challenge, rumors that she shot down it should be noted.
The Hill reported on Friday that former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley pushed back against President Donald Trump’s tweet in which he appeared to mock an attempted robbery at the home of Rep. Elijah Cummings.
Nikki Haley departed the administration last year and is widely considered a potential future GOP candidate for higher office.
On Friday morning, President reacted to reports that a Baltimore home owned by Cummings had been robbed, reports which surfaced following days of attacks from President Trump on the congressman and the way he treats his city.
“Really bad news! The Baltimore house of Elijah Cummings was robbed. Too bad!” President Trump tweeted.
“This is so unnecessary.” Nikki Haley responded to President Trump’s tweet.
Kellyanne Conway decided to teach her a lesson and shot back at her. “THIS is so unnecessary” Conway stated in a re-post of Haley’s tweet.
