Rep. Rashida Tlaib Sued For $2 Million By GOP Congressional Candidate Over Phone Grabbing Incident

In what can only be described as a terrible day for “The Squad”, we just learned that Rep. Rashida Tlaib is being sued for $2 million.

Earlier today word broke out that Rep. Omar besides being a terrible Congresswoman is a homewrecker. She has been carrying around on an illicit affair with a consultant she paid around $250,000.

Now turns out Rep. Rashida Tlaib is also in trouble after conservative activist Laira Loomer filed her $2 million lawsuit.

The lawsuit stems from a confrontation at a Minneapolis campaign event that both Loomer and Rashida attended. The event was for her fellow squad member Rep. Ilhan Omar.

Laira Loomer is a well-known conservative activist who recently announced that she is running for a Florida congressional seat.

CBS reported that according to the lawsuit, Rep. Tlaib “violently grabbed” the phone as Loomer was working as a journalist, seeking to understand Rep. Tlaib’s positions on Israel and Palestine. (Tlaib is the daughter of Palestinian immigrants and Loomer is Jewish).

Freedom Watch, the conservative group that filed the lawsuit, says that Loomer is suing Rashida Tlaib not for political purposes, but to hold the congresswoman accountable for her “unhinged hatred for Jews and Israel.”

The founder of Freedom Watch, Larry Klayman, also filed a complaint against Rep. Omar earlier this year, seeking a Justice Department investigation into the Minnesota congresswoman.

The Star Tribune also reported that Loomer is a conservative media and online personality who recently filed to run as a Republican in Florida’s 21st District against Democratic Rep. Lois Frankel.

Loomer is a President Trump supporter and she is Jewish. After being kicked off Twitter in 2018, she handcuffed herself to a door at the company’s New York offices.

She was also banned by Uber and Lyft after she urged the creation of a ride-sharing service that doesn’t hire Muslims.

Loomer was part of a group that disrupted a campaign event in Aug. 11, 2018, at Holy Land deli in Minneapolis. Omar and Tlaib were then both candidates for Congress.
