Tom Cotton Claims “No Doubt” COVID-19 Infections Will Not Stop Judge Barrett Confirmation Hearings

Senator Tom Cotton appeared on “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo and argued that 3 Republican Senators contracting COVID-19 won’t stop the confirmation hearings of Judge Amy Coney Barrett.

Cotton said “What I can say is that everyone is eager to be at work when they need to be at work.”

“They’re on the Judiciary Committee a week from tomorrow either in person or virtually to have the confirmation hearings for Judge Barrett, and then to have the vote on Judge Barrett this month.”

He continued “none of this should have any impact on schedule of the Senate, either on the Judiciary Committee or the Senate as a whole,” he added.

“No doubt about it, Maria,” he said.

Cotton also predicted Barrett would be confirmed by the end of October and noted that senators in past years have voted despite serious ailments.

“There is a long tradition of ill or medically infirm senators being wheeled in to cast critical votes on the Senate floor,” Cotton said.

“Most recently, (late West Virginia Democratic Sen.) Robert Byrd in 2009 repeatedly rolled in, in a wheelchair, just months before his death to vote for Obamacare,” Cotton continued.

“I’m confident that every senator will be in attendance when his or her vote is needed,” he added.

“This Is Insanity” Walter Reed Physician Attacks President Trump For Greeting His Supporters In Motorcade

Dr. James P. Phillips, MD, an attending physician at Walter Reed trashed President Trump for greeting supporters outside the medical facility Sunday in a motorcade.

Phillips wrote “that Presidential SUV is not only bulletproof, but hermetically sealed against chemical attack. The risk of COVID19 transmission inside is as high as it gets outside of medical procedures. The irresponsibility is astounding.”

“My thoughts are with the Secret Service forced to play.”

He added in a separate tweet “every single person in the vehicle during that completely unnecessary Presidential “drive-by” just now has to be quarantined for 14 days. They might get sick. They may die. For political theater. Commanded by Trump to put their lives at risk for theater. This is insanity.”

In response to the backlash, White House spokesman Judd Deere said Trump’s trip “was cleared by the medical team as safe to do.”

The President also announced in a video he shared on social media he is getting “great reports” from his doctors.

“So it’s been a very interesting journey. I learned a lot about Covid,” President Trump said.

“I learned it by really going to school. This is the real school. This isn’t the let’s read the book school and I get it. And I understand it. And it’s a very interesting thing. I’m gonna be letting you know about it. In the meantime, we love the USA and we love what’s happening,” he added.

As Trump Battles COVID-19, Colorado Trump Supporters Hit The Interstate For Parade In His Support

As President Trump fights COVID-19 virus in the hospital, hundreds of Trump supporters in Colorado hit the roads on the Front Range Saturday.

Community members drove their cars, trucks and motorcycles 124 miles across the state. Many vehicles toting flags and signage in support of President Donald Trump.

The event was called MAGA Drag the Interstate Colorado. Attendees told FOX31 that it was planned weeks ago but the last 24 hours took a new meaning for this ride.

“With Trump in the hospital with COVID and diagnosed with COVID it’s really great we can be out here to support him at this time,” attendee and Trump supporter Tink Johnson said. “We’re all praying he gets better, hoping we can show our support for him and the first lady out here showing everyone else our support for the president.”

The 124 mile route started Saturday morning in Henderson where attendees said they met with others, prayed and recited the Pledge of Allegiance before taking off.

“There was over 500 cars, it was so awesome. I didn’t expect it,” Johnson said.

The route looped along several highways and major interstates ending in Golden.

“This is a great thing, stay in your car, social distance and you are protected,” attendee and supporter Cindy LoCricchio said.

LoCricchio said the support she got along the road was very meaningful to her. She also said that people on the road showed their opposition with gestures and chants as well.

McCarthy Says Nancy Pelosi’s Reaction To POTUS Getting COVID-19 “Rather Disgusting”

Appearing on Fox News Sunday, GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy called House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s reaction to President Trump getting COVID-19 “rather disgusting.”

McCarthy denounced Nancy Pelosi’s reaction, saying “This is uncalled for, especially in this time and place.”

He added “Other nations are watching America. This is the one time we could unite together…”

“[Trump] is sitting here trying to work with this speaker to get a COVID relief package together and these are the comments that she makes?” McCarthy asked.

“It’s really unbecoming of that position,” Kevin McCarthy added.

Friday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi appeared on MSNBC where she reacted to President Trump and First Lady Melania testing positive for COVID-19.

“This is tragic. It’s very sad.” Pelosi said “but it also is something that, again, going into crowds unmasked and all the rest was sort of a brazen invitation for something like this to happen.”

CNN Contributor Says Dems Should “Pack” Court To “Save” It From Republicans, Ted Cruz Fires Back

Court-packing is a popular idea with Democrats right now, and therefore with the mainstream media.

It’s the idea of expanding the number of justices and then filling those seats with your own kind while you have the power to do it.

In other words, to seize power at the soonest opportunity in the hopes of never surrendering it back to the voters.

Standard traditional Democrat values, as one would say.

CNN contributors think that’s just as fine as cream gravy.

Sen. Ted Cruz has been all over the Dems on this, and he wasn’t about to let this slip by.

He said this on Fox the other day:

“If the Democrats win the presidency and they win the Senate, within a couple of weeks, [Senate Democratic Leader] Chuck Schumer will act to end the filibuster and I’ll tell you, I served with these Democrats.”

“They have the votes. They will abolish the filibuster, which means the minority would not be able to stop any of their radical objectives.”

Sen. Ted Cruz is also going to be on with Mark Levin tonight to share his thoughts on the subject.

“Oh Yeah, I Harangued [Trump]” – Wallace Sarcastically Fires Back At Steve Cortes In Heated Exchange

“Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace fired back at Trump campaign adviser Steve Cortes in a heated conversation about last Tuesday’s debate.

“Oh yeah, I harangued him,” Chris Wallace said in a sarcastic tone when Steve Cortes accused him of forcing President Trump to debate both him and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

Wallace recalled the fact that, despite rules at the Cleveland Clinic where Tuesday’s debate was held, members of the Trump family and White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows chose to remove their masks during the event.

“Do they think that the health and safety rules for everybody else do not apply to them?” Wallace asked.

Cortes explained that everyone had been tested prior to the event, but Wallace again pushed back, saying that the rules had not been dependent on testing.

“So forget this question of being tested before —” Wallace continued as Cortes tried to cut in. “No, I’m going to finish my question. Everybody was told to wear a mask. Why did the First Family and the chief of staff feel that the rules for everybody else didn’t apply to them?”

Cortes fired back, saying that President Trump supported the use of masks but also valued the freedom of choice, arguing again that the people present at the debate had all been tested and had kept distance between the seats.

“They broke the rules,” Wallace said again.

“I was there like you were —” Cortes began.

“Why did they break the rules?” Wallace asked again. “It doesn’t matter, Steve, the rules from the Cleveland Clinic — the rules from the Cleveland Clinic were everybody wears a mask, why didn’t they?”

“The way you are starting to harangue me now actually reminds me of what you did to the president during the debate on Tuesday night —” Cortes replied.

“Oh, yeah, I harangued him,” Wallace said.

“He had to debate not just Joe Biden, but you as well. You were not a neutral moderator,” Cortes argued, adding, “I don’t mind tough questions. But what I don’t think is okay as for you to become the effective opposition to the president. Okay? And everyone there was tested in the crowd, they were distanced from each other. People can make —”

“Steve, let me just say the president interrupted me and the vice president 145 times, so I object to you saying I harangued the president. I know it’s the talking point,” Wallace concluded, noting that the debate commission said that anyone refusing to wear a mask at future events would be escorted from the hall.

Strzok Accuses POTUS Of Not Taking Threat Of White Supremacy Seriously Enough

Former FBI agent Peter Strzok appeared on CNN and accused President Donald Trump of not denouncing White Supremacy strongly enough.

“Well, I think the FBI has the knowledge through investigations of looking at all these incidents of violence within America,” said Peter Strzok.

“And if you look at these mass shooting events, the preponderance of these attacks have taken by individuals who have some link or basis to a link to ideology that involves some sort of racial supremacy.”

The former FBI agent added “That’s concerning because that is what is a lot of these cases driving people towards violence and it is something we absolutely have to be taking a stand against.”

“The FBI can investigate and the Department of Justice can prosecute it, but it’s going to take more than that.”

“We have to have the sort of leadership coming from the top of our nation all the way down in our government, in our society saying this is not acceptable.”

“Racial violence is not who we are and any instance of it should be snuffed out and stifled and denounced, not accepted, not both side-isms, but the sort of things that we hear coming out of the president’s mouth,” said Peter Strzok.

Trump Supporter At Walter Reed: “When People Attack His Presidency, They Attack My Voice & My Vote”

Trump supporter Anna spoke with Breitbart News expressing her support for the President outside the Walter Reed medical facility.

Anna discussed why she supports President Trump and how she feels at this time when he is fighting COVID-19.

“Donald Trump had the courage and backbone, despite persecution, to speak for us and have commonsensical stances on major issues that we were not represented with,” Anna said.

“So the least we can do, when he’s suffered so much to represent us, is to come out here and let him know that the love for him is so great and we don’t always have the media megaphone, like hatred does.”

“But we’re enormous. We love him,” she continued.

Anna also explained that, “to give someone a voice is a very personal thing. It’s one of the greatest gifts you can give someone, and he’s given half of our country that. It’s personal.”

“The love for him is personal, and when people attack his presidency they attack my voice and my vote, which is my most sacred freedom as an American. So this is personal. I consider him family at this point… Trump 2020,” said Anna.

Mitch McConnell: “They Can Work Out Presidential Debates Remotely”

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has urged President Donald Trump and Joe Biden to move forward with this year’s presidential debates.

On Friday, the Kentucky senator noted the importance of the Presidential debates and suggested the candidates hold them remotely.

The President’s recent coronavirus diagnosis has many Americans concerned over the status of the debates, which are seen as an integral part of the American election cycle.

Mitch McConnell has said that he would like to see the debate move forward, regardless of whether or not it needs to be held virtually.

“I think it should go forward, hopefully the President feels up to it,” he stated.

“You know, they can work this out remotely, we’re doing an awful lot of things remotely these days because of the coronavirus,” he added.

So far, neither the President nor Joe Biden has signaled whether or not they would proceed with a virtual debate. Both candidates are scheduled to meet again on October 15th.

Meanwhile, the vice presidential debate with Mike Pence and Kamala Harris is still slated for next week.

Left Wing Washington State Gov. Freaks Out After Boeing Moves Production To South Carolina

Jay Inslee, the left wing governor of Washington State, is freaking out on social media because Boeing has decided to move production of its 787 airplane to the more conservative and business friendly South Carolina.

While no one can blame Boeing for making such a move, especially if it benefits them financially, there is also the rumors that, in Seattle, leaders have shown that they will allow mobs of left wingers to destroy businesses.

KING 5 News reported that Boeing is moving all 787 Dreamliner production from Everett to South Carolina.

The company confirmed Thursday that they will relocate all 787 Dreamliner production from Everett to South Carolina.

The Wall Street Journal first reported the move that would deeply impact the Snohomish County economy and region as a whole.

The decision comes as the company responds to the “current global environment” in order to “enhance efficiency and improve performance for the long-term.”

“The Boeing 787 is the tremendous success it is today thanks to our great teammates in Everett. They helped give birth to an airplane that changed how airlines and passengers want to fly,” said Stan Deal, president and chief executive officer of Boeing Commercial Airplanes.

“As our customers manage through the unprecedented global pandemic, to ensure the long-term success of the 787 program, we are consolidating 787 production in South Carolina.”

People familiar with the matter told the Wall Street Journal that the decision to end production of that jetliner in Washington state comes as the “coronavirus pandemic saps demand for aircraft.”

Governor Inslee knows he is losing a major source of revenue and he is not happy about it.
