Matt Gaetz Rips Ilhan Omar Over $350M “Poison Pill” For Refugees & Immigrants In Stimulus Package

Rep. Matt Gaetz blasted Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar on social media over a Dem insert into the stimulus bill.

Gaetz took issue with $350 million in funding for refugees and immigrants in the relief package that Congress is about to pass.

“Millions of Americans need help now. Dangerous poison pills like $350,000,000 for ‘Migration and Refugee Assistance’ put America LAST,” Matt Gaetz tweeted.

“Democrats: This is not the time to advance your legislative agenda. This is the time to put #AmericaFirst,” he added.

“Immigrants and refugees, are Americans/pay taxes and as vulnerable communities need the resources ‘to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus,’” Rep. Ilhan Omar said.

“Wonder why this upsets you more than a $500,000,000 billion corporate welfare fund for a select group of large companies?”

“Much of this money will be spent on illegal immigrants in the United States, and foreign migrants around the world,” Matt Gaetz shot back.

“Neither of those groups are Americans. This does not belong in a relief package for American workers and businesses. #AmericaFirst.”

Hollywood Actor Michael Rapaport Crosses The Line With Attack On Barron Trump: “Send Little F**king Barron To Test Waters”

Hollywood Actor Michael Rapaport disgraced himself again with an unhinged attack on Barron Trump and the rest of President Trump’s children.

In an expletive-laden rant, he trashed President Trump and first lady Melania before demanding Trump send Barron and his other children out to work before en reopens the country.

Breitbart reported that Rapaport began his video message with a profanity-laced attack on Trump after he suggested that corporate media want him to keep the country shut as long as possible, in the hope that it will damage his chances of re-election.

“This guy doesn’t give a fck about anyone but himself fcking pig — the real people want to get back to work ASAP? You never worked a day in your life,” the actor said.

“You’re worried about the next four years? You need to be worried about the next four days, mother*cker.”

“You need to be worried about the next four weeks — the next four months, you mothercker. You are the worst possible mothercker in power we could have, making decisions right now.”

The star of 1998’s “The Naked Man” also demanded that the President force his children out of isolation before the rest of the nation, so they can risk getting the virus themselves.

“Why don’t you send your fcking son, dick stain Donald Trump Jr., big-toothed Eric Trump, little fcking Barron, f*cking Ivanka, junkyard Jared.”

“Let them go out there and test the f*cking waters. Let them see if shit is sweet. Let them take the cars, the trains, the buses, the Amtrak, let them play in the park.”

“And if everything’s good after five days of them playing in the streets, we’ll all go back to work.”

Kevin McCarthy Rips Pelosi For Misleading America: “That’s An Outright Lie”

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy ripped Nancy Pelosi and accused her of lying on national television. He blasted her for comments she made about the changes to the Coronavirus stimulus package.

Hopefully, we got a good deal and time will tell the rest, but one thing we do know – moderate Dems were not happy with Nancy Pelosi’s stunt to try to sneak her pet projects in and that is not good news for Pelosi.

The Gateway Pundit reported that for days now the two chambers of Congress have been fighting over a mammoth Coronavirus stimulus bill because the Democrats were trying to fund their liberal pet projects.

Pelosi has been trying to sneak in a wish list of Socialist goodies that have absolutely nothing to do with the Coronavirus.

McCarthy said during his presser that Pelosi is flat out lying about the changes to the bill.

“A few minutes ago the Speaker stood at this podium and claimed that House Democrats did what she called a jujitsu to change the bill — that is an outright lie,” McCarthy said. “The fundamental portions of this bill has not changed since Sunday.”

McCarthy continued, “Four months for unemployment was already decided on Sunday. The grant to keep employees hired in small business was already decided on Sunday.”

“The only few additions were funding of things that had nothing to do with the Coronavirus,” he added.

Lindsey Graham Puts Ocasio-Cortez On Notice Over Her Holdup Threat: “Cut Off Our Pay” If Relief Bill Fails

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez is not happy with the Senate stimulus plan and she is threatening to hold up the passage of the bill.

While she cannot stop it, she can scuttle easy passage and call for an in-person vote. As most members of the House have left town – they are off for a few weeks – they would have to travel back to DC to cast their vote.

This scenario could take longer than we think as the airline industry has been essentially grounded.

Enter Lindsey Graham to remind everyone of what is at stake.

“There is no good reason left to deny the American people the relief they need,” Sen. Graham said.

“Every restaurant and bar in South Carolina is closed. As long as you can’t congregate with 10 people or more, the entire economy is shut down. So, people need a paycheck.”

“They need to have burdens taken off them; their student loan payments deferred. There are so many good things in this bill, there’s $2 trillion. It is very generous,” he continued.

“And what’s holding this bill up is special-interest politics, and if in the next 48 hours we do not pass this bill, everybody in the country should cut off our pay.”

“I’m all for trying to jump-start the economy and turn it back on where it makes sense,” he said, “but what is happening in New York could come to South Carolina or any other place if we really don’t watch it here.”

“We are at war with this virus — I want to starve it, I want to bomb it, and I want to kill it,” Sen. Graham said. “You starve it by having social distancing, you bomb it by having therapies that will make it less lethal, and you kill it with a vaccine.”

CNN also reported that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the high-profile freshman from New York, is leaving open the option of forcing House members to return to Washington to cast a vote on the $2 trillion stimulus package barreling through Congress.

The New York Democrat has expressed her frustration with the stimulus deal, suggesting it’s too tilted towards corporations. The deal was reached between senators from both parties — including the senior Democratic senator from her state, Chuck Schumer, and the White House.

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez told CNN she is not ruling out asking for a recorded vote, which would force lawmakers to return to Washington and vote in-person, something that most members of Congress are eager to avoid amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Ocasio-Cortez said she hadn’t seen the final bill text yet, “but I’m open” to asking for a recorded vote “if necessary.”

Kathy Griffin Rushed To Hospital After Painful Symptoms, Trashes President Trump From Hospital Bed

Kathy Griffin went to an urgent care clinic after suffering from painful symptoms. She was sent immediately stuck in an isolation ward fearful she may have COVID-19.

Normally at that time one would think about their own life and what they can do better but not Kathy. She literally trashed President Trump from her hospital bed.

“‪He’s lying. I was sent to the #COVID19 isolation ward room in a major hospital ER from a separate urgent care facility after showing UNBEARABLY PAINFUL symptoms'” she posted.

“The hospital couldn’t test me for #coronavirus because of CDC (Pence task force) restrictions. #TESTTESTTEST”” she added.

ET reported that Kathy Griffin has been hospitalized amid the coronavirus pandemic — but she says that she’s been unable to get tested for the virus.

On Wednesday, Griffin posted to Instagram sharing that she’s been transported to a “COVID19 isolation ward” but has been unable to obtain a test for the virus. She let fans in on her medical journey in part to fire back at a tweet from President Donald Trump, who tweeted a claim earlier today about the United States’ testing process for coronavirus.

“Just reported that the United States has done far more ‘testing’ than any other nation, by far!” President Trump tweeted.

“In fact, over an eight day span, the United States now does more testing than what South Korea (which has been a very successful tester) does over an eight week span. Great job!”

Biden Repeatedly Claims That “No Matter What” The COVID Cure Will Make Things Even Worse

Former Vice President Joe Biden’s latest verbal blunder calls into question whether the Democratic nominee can grasp the most pressing issues the U.S. currently faces.

On Tuesday, Biden joined the ladies of “The View” via video call to counter President Trump’s handling of the coronavirus epidemic. Being that the program is friendly territory for the Dems, Biden was asked a number of softball questions.

But the former vice president gave an answer to one of those questions that is both terrifying and not surprising, particularly given the concerns many have about the 77-year-old’s cognitive health.

The FP reported that “The View” co-host Sara Haines asked Joe Biden about Trump’s statement that “we cannot let the cure be worse than the problem itself.” The President was referring to a potential timetable for firing up the U.S. economy following what has essentially amounted to a nationwide shutdown of nonessential business.

“We talked about Trump saying the government would reassess the recommended period for keeping businesses shut and people at home. Are you at all concerned as Trump said that we cannot let the cure be worse than the problem itself?” Haines asked Biden.

Joe Biden’s response was baffling.

“We have to take care of the cure. That will make the problem worse, no matter what,” he said.

Biden doubled down, adding, “No matter what. We know what has to be done. We know you have to — you’re tired of hearing the phrase, you got to flatten that curve where it’s going up like this, people getting it, and then it comes down.”

How can a cure make the problem worse? Did Joe Biden just assert that solving a problem will also exacerbate it, or is he so lost in general that he is unable to deliver a coherent response?

We doubt Biden truly believes a “cure” will make the problem “worse,” but he didn’t even bother trying to get it right, instead simply moving on to his next statement.

Moreover, not one of the show’s co-hosts asked him to clarify the nonsensical response.

The candidate either believes that curing the coronavirus will hurt the country, or his cognitive abilities are so diminished that he can’t adequately say what he means.

“Washington Drama Doesn’t Matter Anymore” – McConnell Has Had Enough, Vows To Pass Stimulus Package Today

On Wednesday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said that “Washington drama does not matter anymore” and vowed to pass the Coronavirus package.

“That Washington drama does not matter any more. The Senate is going to stand together, act together, and pass this historic relief package today,” McConnell said.

The White House and Senate leaders reached a deal in the middle of the night for a massive stimulus package to bolster the economy during the Coronavirus outbreak.

Reports say that the package will contain aid for both workers and businesses. Hospitals will also receive significant funding.

The text is supposed to come out Wednesday according to two GOP Senate aides who spoke to the Daily Caller.

However, Nancy Pelosi has no urgency whatsoever because it appears that she doesn’t care about the American people suffering.

The House was in session for 2 minutes Wednesday morning because Pelosi wouldn’t commit to a vote until Thursday (maybe).

If the Senate and White House can work through the night to reach a deal, Nancy should also have some urgency and hold a vote on the stimulus bill as soon as possible.

The House adjourned until Thursday with no plans to meet again at all today.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said that he will give Representatives 24 hours’ notice before the House acts.

“Before we can determine when and how the House will consider this legislation, we must have the final legislative text and clear direction on when the Senate will vote. I remain committed to giving House Members 24 hours’ notice before the House acts.”

Trump Rips Cuomo With a Skeleton From His Closet: “He Rejected Buying 16k Ventilators in 2015, Shouldn’t Blame Us”

President Trump appeared on Fox News and pulled out an op-ed by a former Lt Governor of New York that accused Cuomo of refusing to buy 16,000 ventilators in 2015 after a committee recommended it.

Trump and the Cuomo family go way back and now they are having a mini-feud, but they work well together in private, despite the shots they take at each other in public.

The truth is that after the H1N pandemic, the Obama administration saw the need to create a stockpile of ventilators but they only bought around 16,000.

They had no idea that a situation like this was coming so it’s not fair to blame President Trump. It’s also not fair to blame Cuomo because even if he had made the purchase in 2015, he would still be short.

The real solutions have not changed – find a vaccine and ramp up American production of key supplies. On those fronts Trump has moved – we are testing multiple drug therapies as well as multiple vaccines and American business is ramping up.

This is part of the report that President Trump referenced on Fox News:

Hospitals in New York are running short. To his credit, Gov. Andrew Cuomo is doing his best, but he admits “you can’t find available ventilators no matter how much you’re willing to pay right now, because there is literally a global run on ventilators.”

It’s a little late. Several years ago, after learning that the Empire State’s stockpile of medical equipment had 16,000 fewer ventilators than the 18,000 New Yorkers would need in a severe pandemic, state public-health leaders came to a fork in the road.

They could have chosen to buy more ventilators to back up the supplies hospitals maintain. Instead, the health commissioner, Howard Zucker, assembled a task force for rationing the ventilators they already had.

In 2015, that task force came up with rules that will be imposed when ventilators run short. Patients assigned a red code will have highest access, and other patients will be assigned green, yellow or blue (the worst), depending on a “triage officer’s” decision.

In truth, a death officer. Let’s not sugar-coat it. It won’t be up to your own doctor.

In 2015, the state could have purchased the additional 16,000 needed ventilators for $36,000 apiece, or a total of $576 million. It’s a lot of money, but in hindsight, spending half a percent of the budget to prepare for pandemic was the right thing to do.

To be fair, governments everywhere stockpiled too little. Washington didn’t do much better: The federal Strategic National Stockpile is undersupplied to meet the coronavirus emergency.

Now the pandemic is actually here. New York’s grim-reaper rules will be applied. New York City’s deputy commissioner for disease control, Demetre Daskalakis, is anticipating “some very serious, difficult decisions.” So far, in Gotham, one of every four people with a confirmed case has been hospitalized, and 44 percent of them have needed a ventilator.

Ted Cruz Erupts On Senate Floor, Even Susan Collins Rips The Dems’ Disgraceful Move

Sen. Ted Cruz unleashed a rebuke on the Dems for blocking the coronavirus spending bill while Americans continue to die from the terrible illness.

The Texas Republican ripped the Democrats on Monday over their vote to block the stimulus bill and for using the pandemic to try to push their unrelated policies through Congress as Nancy Pelosi introduced her own emergency 1,400-page bailout bill.

“The famed quote from Rahm Emanuel, that’s President Obama’s chief of staff: ‘Never let a good crisis go to waste.’ Sadly, we’re seeing the embodiment of that cynical approach right now,” Sen. Cruz said in his speech on the Senate floor.

“Because with all the people out of jobs, the Democrats are using this to push — what are they pushing for? Changing the emissions standards on airplanes,” he added. “What the hell do the emissions standards on airplanes have to do with thousands to people dying and millions of people out of work in the coronavirus epidemic?”

Sen. Ted Cruz, who ended his self-imposed quarantine last week, blasted his Democratic colleagues for using the coronavirus relief package like a “partisan Christmas.”

“And you know, Republicans, we got things we’d like to advance too. Things I believe in deeply. Know what I’d like to do? I’d like to abolish the IRS,” Cruz said, adding but “I’m not standing here with an amendment saying, ‘As part of this emergency relief, let’s abolish the IRS.’”

“The Democrats are pushing wind and solar tax credits. Mr. President, what in the hell does a windmill have to do with this crisis?” Sen. Cruz asked. “Other than there are some Democratic lobbyists getting fat and rich and they’re willing to extort a crisis to advance their political agenda.”

Sen. Cruz referred to a proposal being pushed by the Dems to require “diversity” on corporations’ board of directors as “social engineering.”

“Mr. President, what in the hell does that have to do with this crisis?” Cruz demanded on the Senate floor, going on to note that the “Pelosi wishlist” includes a plan to restructure the debt of the United States Postal Service.

“Mr. President, last I checked – look, our postal workers, they go through wind, rain and snow, but they haven’t been laid off,” Cruz said.

“I call upon both sides. Don’t play games with us. This crisis isn’t going to end tomorrow. This crisis isn’t going to end the next day. It’s going to last a considerable time,” he said. “It’s going to require adults to step up and lead.”

Maine GOP Sen. Susan Collins also blasted Democrats for their delays.

“Never have I seen Republicans and Democrats fail to come together when confronted with a crisis,” she said on the Senate floor Monday.

“I cannot believe that the answer to this crisis as we move to address the economic consequences that are so severe for the people of this country that the answer from our friends on the other side of the aisle is “delay, delay, delay.” No sense of urgency. No hurry,” she said in an angry rebuke of her colleagues.

Sen. Cruz began his fiery speech by noting how “every single Democrat” had voted to block even discussing the stimulus bill, and slammed them for not even caring to be in the room to do their jobs.

“Last night when this Senate voted on whether to move forward with emergency relief legislation for the millions of people being devastated by economic disaster we’re seeing as a result of the coronavirus epidemic, every single Democrat in this body voted block consideration of this bill,” he said.

“What does it mean to vote to block consideration? It doesn’t mean they voted against the bill. It means they voted against even starting to take it up,” Cruz said.

“Today, 102 Americans died while the Democrats blocked consideration of this bill,” Sen. Cruz said at one point. “One Texan died while this chamber decided not to show up for work and do their job.”

Sen. Martha McSally Wants To Withhold Senators Pay Checks Until They Put Americans Above Petty Politics

“Do Dems want a recession? A depression? How can they justify this?” Dan Crenshaw asked in a post as the Dems scuttled a rescue package for the American worker.

“This bill is critical for the livelihood of millions. Our country will be devastated without immediate help. Dems can lie all they want about ‘helping workers’ but now they are destroying their lives,” he added.

Now I changed my vote which gives me the opportunity to move to reconsider at a later time. That’s all I can do in the face of this obstruction,” Mitch McConnell said ripping the Dems.

“Look, I can understand obstruction when you’re trying to achieve something,” McConnell added.

“This obstruction achieves nothing. Nothing whatsoever other than prevent us from getting into a position where there are literally 30 more hours that they could use to continue to dicker.”

“So at a time when the country is crying out for bipartisanship and cooperation — and we saw that over the last 48 hours when regular members of Senate, not in the leadership office, not in the speaker’s office for goodness sakes, she’s the Speaker of the House, not the speaker of the Senate. We don’t have one. We were doing just fine until that intervention.”

Other Republicans, along with President Trump, came forward to rip the left.

“Congress must approve the deal, without all of the nonsense, today. The longer it takes, the harder it will be to start up our economy. Our workers will be hurt!” President Trump posted.

“This is not about the ridiculous Green New Deal. It is about putting our great workers and companies BACK TO WORK!”

But it was Martha McSally who won the day with a simple idea that will absolutely work.

If the Senate can’t come together in a time of great need, no Senator should receive a paycheck—like millions of Americans. If the urgent COVID-19 relief package fails again, I’m introducing a bill immediately to withhold Senators’ pay until Americans are put before politics,” she tweeted and based on the response America agrees with her.
