When Attorney General Bill Barr released the Mueller Report, we witnessed something we’d never imagine. The Dems tried to shoot the messenger, going after AG Barr.
He refused to break the law by releasing the full document, which would have revealed confidential information. And now one smart expert is saying that that Dems will be in big trouble if they make good on their threats.
Fox News reported that the Democrats are “heading into a world of hurt” if they escalate their fight with AG Barr over access to the full Mueller report, according to constitutional law expert Jonathan Turley.
Turley stated that while he generally tends to give weight to congressional power, they are sure to lose if they go to court for the purpose of holding AG Barr in contempt for not releasing the full Mueller report.
“You are heading into a world of hurt if you go to the D.C. Circuit,” Turley warned.

Attorney General Bill Barr made it clear to Congress that it was illegal for him to release the unredacted version of Robert Mueller’s report.
It would have jeopardized ongoing cases and witness identities. Yet the Democrats chose not to listen. Instead, they are trying to go after President Trump’s AG, because he simply reported on what Robert Mueller found.
We all know that if President Trump did anything wrong, Robert Mueller would have found it. He and his goons were looking for reasons to doom the President for a long time.
Now they are playing a very dangerous game trying to hurt Attorney General Barr. A game that will only put them in a world of hurt.
