Rocker Neil Young was not happy that President Trump played his hit “rocking in the free world” at his Mount Rushmore event.
The musician wrote “This is NOT ok with me…”
In a second tweet he added “I stand in solidarity with the Lakota Sioux & this is NOT ok with me”
Young’s tweet was met with mixed reactions on social media.
“Its great to hear your songs at such an august place and incredible event.”
“Sit back and enjoy it… its an honor that you were selected. God bless the USA!” One twitter user responded.
“Trump keeps doing this. The Rolling Stones were also pissed he played their tunes at rallies.”
“You’ve got to play hardball with him. And now Trump is playing ANOTHER Neil Young song,” said another.
