Former White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders dropped the hammer on the Democrats after yesterday’s Mueller debacle.
The left has been saying that Robert Mueller will save them for two years and now they finally have to face the reality – no one is coming to save them.
They lost the previous election and then who knows what they did to torpedo President Trump and it looks very bad.
The Hill reported on Thursday that former White House press secretary Sarah Sanders mocked the Democrats following special counsel Mueller’s testimony before Congress the previous day, saying that the Dems should “quit lying and do their jobs.”
“Almost feel sorry for the Democrats: they said @realDonaldTrump would lose-he won; said he’d ruin our economy-it’s booming; and when all else failed said he’s a traitor! when in fact he’s a patriot making America great again,” she tweeted.
“Maybe Dems should just quit lying and do their jobs,” Sarah Sanders added.
President Donald Trump himself took a victory lap this Wednesday after Robert Mueller’s more than six-hour appearance on Capitol Hill to answer questions about his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible obstruction of justice by President Trump.
“This was a very big day for our country. This was a very big day for the Republican Party. And you could say it was a great day for me, but I don’t even like to say that. It’s great,” President Trump told reporters at the White House.
