In a simple hearing with former Trump campaign manager Cory Lewandoski the Democrats are proving their incompetence and their awful sense of politics.

Cory Lewandoski shut down Jerry Nadler from the start causing him to look lost and confused. In his opening statement, Cory took a few shots at Hillary Clinton saying that he has testified countless times and handed over thousands of emails and correspondence.

“I also received hundreds of thousands of emails, some days with as many as a thousand emails,” he said. “And unlike Hillary Clinton, I don’t think I ever deleted any of those.”

“To the best of my recollection, I don’t recall ever having any conversations with foreign entities — let alone any who were offering help to manipulate the outcome of the election.” He added.

“As I have said publicly many times, anyone who attempted to illegally impact the outcome of an election should spend the rest of their life in jail.”

Nadler: Sir, did you ask the White House counsels to be here?

Lewandowski: Congressman, as I just reiterated, I’ve never spoken to anyone in the White House counsel’s office.

Nadler: The answer is no. Was it your idea for you not to answer questions based on a claim of executive privilege?

Lewandowski: I can reiterate, I did not ask — I have never had conversation with someone from the White House counsel’s office regarding this matter.

Nadler: So it was not your — so it was your idea not to answer the-

Lewandowski: I have never had a conversation with someone from the White House counsel’s office about this matter—

Nadler: Was it your idea not to answer these questions on the basis of executive privilege, yes or no?

Lewandowski: Congressman, I can only go by the letter that was provided. It was not my idea to provide this letter.

President Trump also pointed out the “beautiful opening statement by Corey Lewandowski” by posting a tweet, while thanking his former campaign manager.

A new book and some bad reporting by the New York Times have brought the whole Brett Kavanaugh debacle back in the spotlight. The left will never let it go and will certainly launch an investigation into Kavanaugh should they take control of all three levels of government in 2020.

The problem is that they are building a house of cards and we are literally watching it tumble down in front of us to the left’s humiliation.

Adding to their misery – a new story appeared that shatters the original Kavanaugh’s accuser’s story. According to Leland Keyser’s son – she was the key witness who Chrissy Ford said was at the party in question but she stood tall and said she did not remember it which ended the Kavanaugh witch hunt.

Now she claims that she was pressured to lie by the goons on the left and thankfully refused, good for her because if she had lied Kavanaugh may not be a Supreme Court judge.

“Buried at the end of their new book ‘The Education of Brett Kavanaugh: An Investigation,’ reporters Robin Pogebrin and Kate Kelly quietly admit that Christine Blasey Ford’s lifelong friend Leland Keyser did not believe her friend’s tale of a sexual assault at a party they both supposedly attended,” Hemingway reported.

The Daily Wire reported that according to Alex Beckel, the son of Mrs. Keyser and her ex-husband, former Fox News personality and ardent Democrat Bob Beckel, Keyser was pressured by Blasey Ford allies to lie during the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings about the incident.

“Nearly a year after Trump nominated Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, most have moved on. But for one of the key players in that fight, Leland Keyser, the struggle continues,” a GoFundMe account set up for Mrs. Keyser by her son said.

“Despite her lifelong friendship with Christine Blasey Ford and her opposition to Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination, Keyser resisted immense personal pressure and courageously came forward with the truth, putting everything in her life at risk,” the GoFundMe post continues. “As a result, she faces great personal hardship. The harsh glare of the public eye has taken a tremendous physical, emotional, and financial toll on her.”

“Leland stood up and did what was right when she had everything to lose and nothing to gain,” the post added.

The account also added a quote from Hemingway and Carrie Severino’s book “Justice on Trial: The Kavanaugh Confirmation and the Future of the Supreme Court.”

“The person with the most to lose and the least to gain for telling the truth about Kavanaugh may have been Leland Ingham Keyser, who put her commitment to the truth above her political preferences and even friendships,” the quote said.

“I was told behind the scenes that certain things could be spread about me if I didn’t comply,” Keyser told New York Times reporters.

Justice Department officials who were key parts of what Kevin McCarthy called a failed coup against President Trump will yet pay a price for their actions, McCarthy vowed on Sunday.

McCarthy went on to promise that the guilty parties would be held to account and that he has faith in AG Barr.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy predicted that Comey and McCabe would face criminal charges for the attempted coup the only question for Kevin in what charges.

“We came the closest ever to this country having a coup, and now we need accountability,” Kevin McCarthy told Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.”

“I respect this attorney general so greatly, that the way he has handled this, he believes in accountability, but more importantly, he believes in the rule of law.”

When asked if there will be real accountability, McCarthy promised, “Yes.”

Comey and McCabe, who were the director and deputy director of the FBI when the Russia probe began, have been the subjects of separate investigations, and McCarthy believes they will both face consequences.

“We will see an indictment,” he said of McCabe, who is facing the prospect of federal charges after Horowitz faulted him in a separate inquiry over statements he made during a Clinton-related investigation.

The review found out that Andrew McCabe “lacked candor” when talking with investigators, but the former FBI official has denied wrongdoing. U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu recommended charges against McCabe after the DOJ rejected his appeal.

James Comey was chastised in a recent report from Horowitz that discussed how Comey improperly maintained records of his conversations with President Donald Trump, and leaked sensitive information about the investigation of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.

While the report found that James Comey violated department policy, the DOJ opted not to press charges. Now McCarthy believes that there will be more to come for James Comey.

“In the end, I do not believe that Jim Comey will get off,” McCarthy predicted, adding, “Anyone that has had any association with trying to create this coup should be held accountable.”

2020 Republican primary contender Joe Walsh is claiming that the Republican Party has become a “cult” because of President Trump. Walsh is challenging President Trump in the 2020 election for the Republican spot. Doing so, Walsh is making his distaste for the president well known to the public.

The former representative is among 2 others who are Republican primary opponents — former Gov. Bill Weld and former Rep. Mark Sanford.

While Sandford is making his presidential bid focused on the national debt and wants his bid to be “about improving the ideas that the Republican Party stands for,” Walsh made it clear that his main focus is defeating Donald Trump in 2020 election.

“This isn’t about the debt,” Joe Walsh told IJR. “This is about Trump. Period.”

During Sunday’s interview with MSNBC, Joe Walsh took his dislike for President Trump even further claiming that the Republican Party has “become a cult.”

He also blasted the several states who have canceled their primaries, showing support for President Trump. Disapproval for the move has been also reflected by other Republican challengers.

Joe Walsh also added that the Republican Party leaders seem to be “scared to death of this president,” calling it an “absolute shame.”

“Look, I believe Trump is unfit. I believe he lies virtually every time he opens his mouth. I believe he’s a danger to this country. I guarantee you most of my former colleagues privately, they feel the same way about Trump. And what they are hoping for, David, is that he loses in 2010. They know, Kevin McCarthy knows, that because of Donald Trump, the Republican Party is losing young people, they’re losing people of color, they’re losing women, and they’re losing people in the suburbs.” Walsh said.

“Donald Trump is destroying the party but yet they want him to leave in two years in 2020, and then they think they can pick the pieces up again. That’s cowardly and that’s wrong.” He added.

While having his own controversial remarks in the past, Walsh has attempted to distance himself from being compared to President Trump. He told reporters that there is a “big difference” between him and President Trump.

“All Trump cares about is Trump,” he said, adding, “So Trump will use racism and bigotry and xenophobia and anything — he’ll use anything if it helps Trump.”

President Donald Trump isn’t happy with the scandalous treatment his administration has been getting from the mainstream media and other establishment institutions.

The New York Times recently had to correct their hit piece on Brett Kavanaugh – the one that caused half of the Dem party to demand Kavanaugh’s impeachment – because the woman had no recollection of the incident.

But then President Trump turned towards Congress and the continued attempts to bring his administration down. He raised the stakes, and demands Congress investigate the Obama’s.

House Judiciary has given up on the Mueller Report, sadly for them after two years and $40,000,000 spent – ZERO COLLUSION, ZERO OBSTRUCTION. So they say, OK, lets look at everything else, and all of the deals that “Trump” has done over his lifetime. But it doesn’t….

….work that way. I have a better idea. Look at the Obama Book Deal, or the ridiculous Netflix deal. Then look at all the deals made by the Dems in Congress, the “Congressional Slush Fund,” and lastly the IG Reports. Take a look at them. Those investigations would be over FAST!

And he has a point. If the media is so interested in reporting, they should at least take a glance at the Dems in Congress.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) finally responded to a family member of a September 11 victim who shamed her with words and his t-shirt at a 9/11 memorial.

On Sunday, Rep. Omar refused to acknowledge that her comments trivializing the 9/11, 2001, Islamic terrorist attacks that killed thousands of innocent Americans were offensive and went so far as to suggest that she, herself, was a victim of the attack.

Rep. Omar, appearing on CBS News’ “Face The Nation” with host Margaret Brennan, was asked by Brennan about her description of the terrorist attacks as “some people did something.”

“Do you understand why people found that offensive?” Brennan asked.

Ilhan Omar danced around the question, refusing to answer it while suggesting that she was a victim of 9/11: “I mean so, 9/11 was an attack on all Americans. It was an attack on all of us. And I certainly could not understand the weight of the pain that the victims of the- the families of 9/11 must feel.”

“But I think it is really important for us to make sure that we are not forgetting, right, the aftermath of what happened after 9/11,” Rep. Omar continued.

“Many Americans found themselves now having their civil rights stripped from them. And so what I was speaking to was the fact that as a Muslim, not only was I suffering as an American who was attacked on that day, but the next day I woke up as my fellow Americans were now treating me a suspect.” She said.

When everyone expected her to apologize, she actually made it worse for herself. Ilhan Omar is now claiming she is the victim. This is a bridge too far even for her.

On Saturday, Louisiana Sen. John Kennedy stated that the best thing Attorney General Bill Barr can do now that he’s received DoJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report on alleged abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court by former FBI officials is to release as much of it as possible to the public.

“I would ask the attorney general to work Sunday — he probably does anyway — after church, let’s read the report and get it released to the American people. They’re entitled to know what happened,” he told Fox Business Network‘s Neil Cavuto.

Kennedy continued to note that FBI and Justice Department officials are “entitled to their own political beliefs, but they can’t act on them” in an official capacity, which appears to have been the case regarding reported efforts by former FBI agent Peter Strzok, former director James Comey, and former deputy director Andrew McCabe, among few others, to undermine President Trump and drive him from the office.

“If somebody in the 2016 campaign did and tried to hurt President Trump or hurt Secretary [Hillary] Clinton, the American people need to know, they need to be dismissed from the Justice Department and FBI, and if necessary, they need to be prosecuted with great vengeance and furious anger,” Kennedy continued.

“We need to get this behind us and restore the credibility of the FBI and the Justice Department,” he added.

“Now, if somebody didn’t do anything wrong, then let’s tell the American people that.”

The Louisiana Republican also noted that he wants the Senate Judiciary Committee, of which he is a member, “to get into this.” But first, he added, the American people should “have a chance to read the report.”

The FBI under James Comey and McCabe first obtained a surveillance warrant during the waning weeks of President Obama’s administration, then renewed applications for surveillance at least three times after Donald Trump defeated Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

Earlier reports said that James Comey and others including former Justice Department Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein used the unverified “Russia dossier” paid for by the Clinton campaign and the DNC as justification for the FISA warrants.

If so, legal experts say, that could mean James Comey and others are in legal jeopardy for purposely defrauding the FISA court in order to obtain their warrants.

Cavuto noted that McCabe’s lawyer has been pressuring the Justice Department to drop the investigation into his client’s actions because he has yet to be charged with any crime.

But as Kennedy noted, others — including Trump campaign and Trump administration officials like George Papadopoulos and Michael Flynn — have been charged and convicted for lying to federal investigators and the FBI.

“Here we have a case of an FBI agent lying to an FBI agent,” Sen. Kennedy said. “If the Justice Department and FBI are going to maintain any credibility, it seems to me that they have to treat everybody equally under the law.”

“And once again, if Mr. McCabe did lie to an FBI agent, he should be prosecuted with great vengeance and furious anger,” he added. “What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.”
