Life With Donald Trump as a Father Means ‘No Cigarettes, No Alcohol, No Drugs’

President Trump is a family man. His gorgeous wife, First Lady Melania Trump, their 12-year-old son Barron, and Trump’s four children from previous marriages have supported him through years of political campaigning and his heavy role as President of the United States.

Arguably, President Donald Trump wouldn’t be the man he is today without them.

The support that Trump’s family give to him now is testament to the rules of conduct that he as a father instilled in his children as youngsters. Anecdotal evidence from his offspring over the years suggests that President Trump was a caring and assertive dad, and had strict behavioral standards for his children in their early years.

The President took the role of an active father when his children were young. He accompanied them to many sporting events: old family photos show Trump and son Eric at the U.S. Open, others show Trump and daughter Ivanka at a baseball game.

Ivanka Trump, now 36, has been especially vocal over the years about her affection and appreciation for her loving father. “Every morning before school, we’d go downstairs and give him a hug and a kiss,” she stated in a 2004 interview with New York magazine.

Daughter Tiffany shares an equal amount of love for her dad, once posting “I’m so grateful to have such an intelligent, hard working, and hilarious person like you in my life!” besides a sweet, throwback photo of herself and President Trump on her Instagram account.

Remembering her childhood, the Trump children were “bred to be competitive,” Ivanka continued. “Dad encourages it! I remember skiing with him and we were racing. I was ahead, and he reached his ski pole out and pulled me back.”

It sure seems that Trump’s efforts to instill strong characteristics in his children extended to their moral behavior, too. As a proud parent, he was unwilling to accept deviant behavior, and strictly warned his children away from the perils of intoxicants.

During a 2016 CNN town hall meeting, a member of the public asked President Trump how he had protected his young children from the temptations of substance abuse. Allegedly, President Trump used to address his children every single morning before they left for school, telling them not to take drugs, drink alcohol, or smoke cigarettes.

Trump recalled the mantra that kept his children safe: “When my children were growing up, even when they didn’t know what drinking was, I’d say ‘no alcohol, no cigarettes, no drugs,’” he recalled. His memory was quickly substantiated by his son Eric and his daughter Ivanka, who agreed that their father did indeed offer them this stern wisdom “every day of our life” and “every morning before school.”

Donald Trump witnessed his older brother Freddy battle with alcoholism until his tragically premature death back in 1981, and has sworn since that he will never touch a drop of alcohol himself. “My brother was just so instrumental in probably shaping my life just because I don’t know what the outcome would have been,” Trump shared, proving that protecting his young children from the devastating effects of substance abuse is a value that runs very deep.

The President’s eldest son, Donald Jr., is a very successful businessman. Son Eric is a trustee of the Trump Organization and a notable philanthropist. Daughter Ivanka Trump is also a successful businesswoman and famous fashion designer. Daughter Tiffany is a model and law student, and youngest son Barron attends the highly regarded St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, Maryland.

So, did President Trump’s early parenting tactic work? It seems that the proof is in the pudding!

It is natural to wonder whether Trump’s protective nature will extend to the newest members of his family, too.

As the Trump family often shares many photos of the President with his nine grandchildren on social media, it would seem so.

Captioning one adorable photo on Twitter, the president himself wrote: “I don’t know, but to me that’s the look of pride all grandparents should have looking at their grand-kids.”

As the old saying goes: Family comes first. And father knows best!

Joe Biden Says ‘Major’ Republican Donors Want To Help Him Run Against Trump In 2020

This Tuesday, former Vice President Joe Biden stated that major Republican donors encouraged him to run as President against Donald Trump in 2020.

Biden said “the people who are usually the biggest donors in the Democratic Party” and “some major Republican folks” offered help and funds for his 2020 presidential campaign, which the former vice president is expected to launch in the near future.

Joe Biden made the comments during an event with historian Jon Meacham at the University of Delaware’s Biden School, where he was asked about his 2020 campaign.

Former Vice President Joe Biden, 76, strongly indicated he was going to run for president in 2020, which he said was the “consensus” among his children and grandchildren.

“I’m certain about where the family is, but the second piece is that I don’t want this to be a fool’s errand and I want to make sure that if we do this, and we’re very close to getting to a decision, that I am fully prepared to do it,” said Biden.

Biden pointed out that social media may be a potential challenge for him, which he said has “fundamentally changed” since he last ran for office in 2012, but indicated that tech insiders are helping him to adjust.

Biden said that he has been getting “briefings” from “the most advanced people in the country who run these major platforms and telling us what we need, and the organizational structure we need, and it’s a massive, massive undertaking.”

“We also are making a decision on whether or not we can fund this campaign on my conditions, because I will not be part of a super PAC, or accept … ” said Joe Biden as the audience interrupted with applause, “and to see whether or not it’s realistic,” he finished.

“An awful lot of people have offered to help, and the people who are usually the biggest donors in the Democratic Party and, I might add, some major Republican folks,” he noted.

Ben Stein Tears Down Green New Deal Defenders: It Will ‘Make the Great Depression Look Like a Picnic’

Ben Stein flattened the Green New Deal supporters in his latest column for The American Spectator.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez unveiled her new plan to fight climate change by mobilizing the entire United States economy to do everything from guaranteeing universal jobs to achieving 100% renewable energy without using nuclear power. Her proposal was met with laughter from both sides of the political aisle.

While many politicians laughed at the deal, some Democrats are jumping on-board despite some of the extreme goals.

Many of the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates have announced their support for the deal, including Sens. Kamala Harris and Cory Booker.

The blind support from some of the leaders in the Democratic Party caused Ben Stein to write about the Green New Deal, sending a warning to Americans that it could “make the Great Depression look like a picnic.”

“This would cost so much money that from the moment it was enacted, the USA would be bankrupt. The cost of this project would in a decade triple the national debt. This would make it completely unpayable EVER.” he said.

“Inflation would explode as federal money chased a limited pool of workers and resources. The country would be in a crisis that would make the Great Depression look like a picnic.” he added.

Ben Stein explained that the Green New Deal would never come to fruition even if it menages to pass through the legislative process.

He also claims that it would be tied up in the court process “forever.”

However, that does not mean that he isn’t concerned about the support the resolution has received so far. He wrote that the positivism this resolution earned from some politicians was just “terrifying.”

“But 70 Members of Congress and over a dozen Senators are already signed on as co-sponsors with AOC. Would anyone have ever dreamed even five years ago that such madness was possible? God help us. The planting of ignorance is bearing poisoned fruit. This is terrifying stuff.” said Stein.

This is not the first time Ben Stein has gone after some of the socialist policies offered by Democrats such as Ocasio-Cortez.

In fact, Stein even compared some of the proposals to those that were offered by Adolf Hitler during his rise to power.

“We have a society, live in a society in which there are an awful lot of people who have no idea that Stalin, Hitler, Mao Zedong, all came to power promising the same kinds of things that Ms. Ocasio-Cortez is promising,” Stein said. “And it led to mass murder. It led to dictatorship. It led to genocide.” said Stein.

Mike Pompeo: Alabama Native ‘ISIS Bride’ Banned From Returning To United States

A woman raised in Alabama who left to join ISIS in Syria and is begging to return to the U.S. has been denied entry.

This Wednesday, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo refuted the idea that the woman is a U.S. citizen and rejected her pleas to return to the United States.

“Ms. Hoda Muthana is not a U.S. citizen and will not be admitted into the United States,” Mike Pompeo said in a State Department press release. “She does not have any legal basis, no valid U.S. passport, no right to a passport, nor any visa to travel to the United States. We continue to strongly advise all U.S. citizens not to travel to Syria.”

Muthana was reportedly born in New Jersey and later lived with her family in Birmingham, Alabama.

“Hoda Muthana had a valid US passport and is a citizen. She was born in Hackensack, NJ in October 1994, months after her father stopped being [a] diplomat,” Muthana’s attorney, Hassan Shibly, told ABC News.

Her family first lived in New Jersey, New York, Washington, and finally settled in Alabama when she was in the seventh grade.

Not long after graduating high school and briefly studying at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, Muthana fled to Syria in 2014 when she was just 19-years-old.

There, she lived among ISIS fighters, underwent three marriages and had one son, who is now 18-months-old.

Muthana was captured by Kurdish forces and taken to a northern Syria detention camp with more than 1,500 other women and children. All of them are unable to leave the camp.

“The government needs to engage with her, but not just her; all of these people who joined ISIS,” Shibly told USA Today. “If she broke the law, then the justice system can deal with her, and if she didn’t break the law, she should come back anyway, so it can be determined if she is a threat.”

Muthana stated that a strict upbringing and later brainwashing caused her to pursue ISIS.

“I thought I was doing things correctly for the sake of God,” she said, adding that she was “brainwashed once and my friends are still brainwashed.”

Times Square Billboard Slams Ocasio-Cortez Over Amazon Deal: ‘Thanks For Nothing’

A giant billboard in Times Square is calling out Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for her supposed role in sinking New York City’s deal with Amazon.

The digital billboard was paid by business advocacy group the Job Creators Network, and it details just a few of the things the city may have lost when the deal went sideways.

The list posted on the billboard included: 25,000 lost NYC jobs, $4 billion lost wages and $12 billion in lost economic activity.

Late this week, Forbes published an article where they addressed the ways the failed deal could ultimately hurt New Yorkers.

According to that article, even the “first order” effects of the deal’s failure could prove devastating to the city of New York.

-From a purely economic point of view, Amazon was expected to generate $27.5 billion in tax revenue over a 25-year period, 9x the $3 billion government incentives offered. Anyone arguing that $3 billion was an overly excessive offer accidentally chased out $24.5 billion from the city. And that is just the first-order effect.

New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has long insisted that the opposition to the move was entirely community-based.

-Yeah I’m laughing @ this.

Amazon was not coming to my Congressional district, had no concentrated outreach to us that I’m aware of, yet w/ no effort I defeated the richest man in the world?

Doesn’t add up. Story that’s not being told: the local community organized to reject it. – she posted on Twitter.

And while a number of protests popped up in opposition to the deal, particularly over Amazon’s refusal to unionize the proposed new campus, there was also a fair amount of support for it.

Citizens polled by Qunnipiac were in favor of the deal as recently as Dec. 5 of last year:

-New York City voters approve 57 – 26 percent, including 60 – 26 percent among Queens voters, of Amazon locating one of its new headquarters in Long Island City in Queens.

Also, Amazon made no mention of community disapproval when explaining why the deal was being terminated. Instead, executives pointed the finger at local and state elected officials who were not “cooperative.”

-For Amazon, the commitment to build a new headquarters requires positive, collaborative relationships with state and local elected officials who will be supportive over the long-term.

Last Sunday, during a segment of “Meet the Press”, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio also took issue with Ocasio-Cortez claming that she didn’t understand how the deal was supposed to work, and her lack of understanding coupled with her vocal activism had cost New York a great opportunity.

Kelsey Grammer Ignites Leftists With Support For Trump’s Strong Stance: ’They’re used to being the brats’

Actor Kelsey Grammer threw his left-leaning fans into a tailspin after openly discussing his support for President Trump.

The 63-year-old actor, known for his famous role in the TV sitcom “Fraiser,” blasted the left as he spoke about his support of Brexit and President Trump during an interview with BBC Radio.

Kelsey Grammer admitted that he isn’t a “big government guy,” and he acknowledged the host’s observation that it is very “unusual” for him to be a Donald Trump supporter in liberal Hollywood.

“I’m a conservative. I have been for a long time. I’m just not a big government guy,” said Grammer.

“I do overhear the talk about Brexit and stuff and I think, ‘Well, why are they voting again for it?'” Grammer continued, referring to the impending departure of the UK from the European Union. “I think, well couldn’t you vote once?”

“But that’s a bit like – we do this in America too these days,” he added. “It’s sort of like you keep voting until you get the result you want.”

Grammer was asked if “controversies” surrounding President Trump may have caused him to have any “change of mind,” he replied that he was okay with President Trump’s policies.

“In terms of policy, I don’t have a lot of problems with what he’s doing. He’s a bit of a brat, I guess you could say,” he continued. “And that is astounding for people especially for people who come from the more liberal side of politics. They’re used to being the brats.”

Kelsey Grammer went on and noted the President’s ability to come back at his critics and how it’s been a surprise for some.

“They just never had anybody come back at them in the same way. We’ve witnessed in American politics the same basic language since Ronald Reagan,” Grammer explained. “This is the first guy who fires back, so it’s really unpleasant and they thought he shouldn’t be elected anyway.”

Actor Kelsey Grammer’s comments caused a crisis on social media where the left was disappointed by his conservative stance and his approval of President Donald Trump.

Here are few tweets:

-When I saw Kelsey Grammer trending I naturally assumed he’d died.
Turns out far, far worse…

-Kinda disappointing to hear about Kelsey Grammer right now, looked up to Fraser when I was a kid of some who was more intelligent than the average doing well for themselves. Now he’s just a git.

-Finding out he’s a supporter of Trump and BREXIT was an awful shock. I can’t listen to him now, it makes me feel sick.

-Kelsey Grammer bids goodbye to his British fan base as he comes out as a Trump Supporter;

But there were many Twitter users that mocked the over-dramatic outcry.

-Oh no. Kelsey Grammer holds different political beliefs to me. I better discard my Frasier boxset immediately and blow up my TV just in case Channel 4 shows a repeat. –said one tweet.

And the mob is out again in full force today to vilify anyone with different political views. Todays subject: Kelsey Grammer, a pro-Trump, Brexiteer. – said another.

Fans of Kelsey Grammer, who once told BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs that being a Republican in a place like Hollywood is like having a “target on your back,” couldn’t have been happier.

Kamala Harris Melts Down When Asked About Jussie Smollet

This Monday, California Sen. Kamala Harris had a failed attempt to stutter her way out a question about the recent claims that Jussie Smollett may have staged his alleged attack.

“Jussie Smollett is one of the kindest, most gentle human beings I know. I’m praying for his quick recovery. This was an attempted modern day lynching. No one should have to fear for their life because of their sexuality or color of their skin. We must confront this hate,” Kamala Harris tweeted on Jan. 29.

Now watch what happens when you’ve been out shopping with your new BFF reporter girlfriends, then a real journalist asks you a real question…

“Which tweet? What tweet?” Senator Harris asked in response to the reporter’s question about her post on Twitter.

“About saying that it was a modern-day lynching,” the reporter responded. “Jussie Smollett.”

“Okay, so I will say this about that case. I think the facts are still unfolding and I’m very concerned,” Harris answered.

Jussie Smollett alleged that he was attacked by two white men in the middle of the night as he was walking home from a Chicago-area “Subway” restaurant last month.

He told police that the attackers poured a bleach-like substance all over him, and tied a rope around his neck similar to a noose, then shouted at him with racist and homophobic slurs.

Over the past week, the authorities reported that it appears that Jussie Smollett staged the attack and paid two Nigerian men to attack him.

Many other Democrats rushed in support of Jussie Smollett following the alleged attack. New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker and Reps. Maxine Waters of California, Nancy Pelosi of California and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, among many others.

In their statements, they all condemned the alleged hate crime.

Nancy Pelosi deleted her sympathetic post on Twitter about Smollett on Sunday evening.

Mark Meadows Explains Why President Trump’s National Emergency Plan Will Work

Congressman Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) appeared on an interview with Fox News’ Jeanine Pirro and pointed out why President Trump’s move to declare a national emergency on border security could be a success.

The North Carolina Republican told Jeanine Pirro that he understands why some Republicans hesitate to support President Trump in his decision but also that it’s not as extreme as it seems.

“Well, I think everybody, especially on the Republican side of the aisle, wants to make sure Congress has the power and not the executive branch,” said Meadows.

“That being said, Judge, here is the interesting thing: Congress had the ability to act, and actually stop the president from doing this national emergency. Twenty words, Judge — all they had to do was say no funds from 10 USC 284 2808 shall be used to build a barrier between Mexico and the United States.” he added.

The strategy that Mark Meadows explained was a provision that would’ve given the Supreme Court reason to block President Trump’s plan. However, since there was nothing placed in the bill, the court will ultimately have to defer to President Trump’s national emergency declaration.

As Meadows explained, the President even warned Congress of his plans and they still didn’t add the block into the bill.

“Twenty words if they had put in there basically would have prohibited the president from doing this. But the president did a real shrewd thing: Before they signed the bill and sent it to him before they voted on it, he said I’m going to declare a national emergency. He put them on notice, yet Congress didn’t act. I think the Supreme Court will look at that and say why did not Congress act? Do you know why they didn’t act? Because it’s dysfunctional and they refuse to admit that there is a crisis at the border.”

Last Friday, President Donald Trump declared that he would be signing the national emergency legislation in order to reallocate funds to build the southern border wall.

Every president for the past 40 years has declared that the Border needs to be secured. it is about time someone did something about it.

Trump Slams Jim Acosta Telling Him to ‘Ask the Angel Moms’ After He Questioned if the President Is Making Up Border Crisis

President Trump slammed CNN’s Jim Acosta today as he was taking questions after announcing a national emergency at the United States – Mexico border.

The President fired back at Acosta telling him to ask those who have lost many loved ones to illegal immigrant crime whether or not the southern border crisis is real.

The tense moment begun when CNN’s Acosta pointed to several statistics on border crossings and crime rates among illegal immigrants as he began to suggest that President Trump was just blowing the problem out of proportion.

“What do you say to your critics who say you are creating a national emergency?” asked Acosta after some prompting to hurry up from the President.

“Ask the Angel Moms,” President Trump shot back, pointing to those he honored earlier in his speech. “What do you think? Do you think I’m creating something? Ask these incredible women who lost their daughters and their sons.”

Then the President further reamed Jim Acosta, saying, “Your question is a very political question, you have an agenda, you’re CNN, you’re fake news, the numbers that you gave are wrong.”

The back-and-forth came after President Trump shared his “great respect” for angel families and honored them few moments before during his announcement.

President Donald Trump gave a shout out to several “angel mom’s” who carried photos of the children they lost.

“I want to thank in particular the Angel moms and dads for being here. Thank you very much. We have great respect for you. Our real country, the people that really love our country, they love you. So I just want you to know that. I know how hard you fight and I know how hard a fight you’re having.”

On Friday, President Trump announced his plans to declare a national emergency at the U.S.-Mexico border and signed a spending deal to keep the federal government open just before the deadline expired in hopes of allocating $8 billion in federal funds to build the border wall.

Former Obama Border Patrol Chief Calls For The Border Wall:‘Enough Is Enough’

Former U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) chief during the Obama administration is breaking silence and speaks in support of President Trump’s push for border security.

Mark Morgan is speaking out about his support for improving our border security, from bashing Democrats for calling the situation at the southern border a “manufactured crisis” to roasting the “irony” in CNN’s Jim Acosta’s reporting at the border.

This Wednesday, Mark Morgan attended the Trump Coalition Press Conference that was held by Women for Trump and Angel Families.

The former border chief spoke during the event and encouraged Americans to be united and said “enough is enough” when it comes to deaths caused by our “broken immigration system.”

“Not one more citizen should die because we have a broken immigration system and open borders,” said Morgan.

There were many other speakers during the event including U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, former U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Tom Homan and House Minority Whip Steve Scalise.

Rep. Liz Cheney stood firm saying that House Republicans stand with President Donald Trump to secure the borders.

Republican Steve Scalise began his speech by saying, “Our hearts and our prayers are with the families of everybody who’s lost a loved one because somebody that was here illegally took their life,” adding, “it shouldn’t happen in America.”

Scalise also noted that the “battle” is ultimately about keeping America safe by securing our border.

“Don’t let anybody tell you this is about closing our borders,” Scalise added.

“We let over a million people into our country every single year legally. No country’s close. So America will continue to be the most generous nation, but we’re also a nation of laws and we need to get back to that rule of law.”

This Wednesday in an interview on Hill.TV, Morgan slammed the “absolutely false” idea walls don’t work along the border.

“One of the best ones is walls are ineffective,” Morgan noted one of the “false information” that is “misleading the American people. “2006, the bipartisan Secure Fence Act. 2013, the Senate passes a bipartisan immigration bill with $8 billion dollars included in a fence, and just last year, there was money for fencing and barriers.”

The former border and customs patrol chief Yuma, Arizona as an example where “they build 23 miles of a physical barrier, and then they added additional technology and personnel. Illegal immigration went from a 150,000 to 15,000 overnight, and there’s countless examples of that.”
