‘Jerry Nadler Will Get President Trump Re-Elected In 2020’: Graham Blasts The Democrats ‘Going Nuts’ Over Mueller’s Investigation

Sen. Lindsey Graham is pointing fingers at who will help get President Trump re-elected in 2020 due to their annoying press on the Russia investigation even after its conclusion.

Recently, Donald Trump Jr. agreed to appear before the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee in mid-June following being reportedly subpoenaed by the committee over the Russia investigation.

On May 9, Sen. Graham, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, stated that he’d be “reluctant” to bring Trump Jr. “back into this circus” before the Senate Intelligence Committee “if I were his lawyer.”

The Republican lawmaker doubled down on his reluctance but told Fox News late Wednesday that Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr is “going to issue a good report, I think, telling us how to deal with Russia in the future and what happened on the intel side.”

“My problem is not with Richard Burr, my problem is the system,” Sen. Graham later added.

Sen. Graham said he’s worried about “when’s enough, enough” in regard to the investigation.

“What you see happening is congressional committees are now beginning to take the place of prosecutors, and that’s dangerous for us all,” Graham said. “[…] These people are going nuts.”

“So [House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold] Nadler is going to get Trump re-elected more than any single person on the planet,” he suggested. “But [House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam] Schiff is a close second.”

Special counsel Mueller‘s final report didn’t find collusion between President Trump’s campaign and Russia but did not fully exonerate the president on obstruction of justice.

Attorney General Barr reportedly appointed Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham to investigate the origins of Mueller’s investigation as well as if FBI surveillance into Trump’s 2016 campaign was legal.
