The House Democrats just voted to hold Attorney General Bill Barr and Secretary Wilbur Ross in criminal contempt of Congress.

The issue was over the census citizenship question, but that was decided by the Supreme Court and President Trump pulled the question. Usually when you get a win you drop the matter, but not in this case.

CBS reported that the House voted to hold AG Barr and Commerce Secretary William Ross in criminal contempt of Congress for failing to comply with subpoenas about the origins of a controversial citizenship question on the 2020 census.

The measure passed by 230 to 198 votes, with 4 Democrats joining all Republicans in voting against the resolution.

The White House immediately slammed the move, calling it “ridiculous and yet another lawless attempt to harass the President and his Administration.”

Just before the House was to vote, William Barr and William Ross requested that Nancy Pelosi postpone the voting in a letter the sent to her.

“By taking this action, the House is both unnecessarily undermining inter-branch comity and degrading the constitutional separation of powers and its own institutional integrity,” Barr and Ross said.

The vote comes after President Trump’s announcement that he will not be adding the question to the upcoming census questionnaire and instead plans to explore other avenues to gain information about respondents’ citizenship status.

Danielle Stella just responded to Rep. Ilhan Omar’s nonsense and hit her saying that her ideas are in direct conflict with what is the best for American.

“Unlike you, I denounce terrorist organizations.” claimed the young Republican after Rep. Omar refused to condemn al-Qaeda.

She continues: “Ilham Omar’s ideas for our country are in direct conflict with what is the best for the American people. She wants to abolish ICE, defund DHS and allow more illegal immigrants into our country, when we are currently failing the nation’s citizens and veterans.”

“The people need representatives who actually care about our communities and want to make a difference. They deserve representatives who do not spread hate towards religious groups and different ethnicities. Some far-left members of Congress are increasing the divide and hostility among the citizens of this country. We are a nation of unity and this is where our strength lies.” She added.

“We need representatives who respect the office of the President of the United States. The Legislative Branch must work with the Executive Branch to better our nation.” She said.

Big League Politics reported that Danielle Stella has thrown her hat into the ring for the Minnesota 5th District congressional seat in 2020. Stella the Republican is taking on Rep. Ilhan Omar, who is currently rocked by accusations that she committed immigration fraud by entering into a fraudulent marriage.

Stella is a special education teacher who works with autism spectrum children, and she is making the First Amendment a top priority in her 2020 campaign, according to her website.

“Make no mistake, our First Amendment Rights are under fire. Conservative voices are openly being suppressed by big tech and social media giants; to include, but not limited to, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, and Google. This suppression is akin to civil information warfare. U.S. citizens cannot afford to turn a blind-eye. Conservatives must band together.” Stella wrote.

“Facebook monitors the offline behavior of its users in order to determine whether or not to label them as “hate agents.” Pinterest was outed by a former software engineering for labeling pro-life advocates, Live Action, as “white supremacist.”” She added.

Fox News reported that a new challenger has entered the ring in an attempt to unseat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in the 2020 election cycle.

Scherie Murray is a businesswoman from New York that just became the third Republican challenger to enter into the race for Rep. Ocasio-Cortez’s district on Wednesday.

Scherie Murray immigrated to America from Jamaica at the age of nine and grew up in Queens. She announced her intention to run with a video taking shots at the self-described democratic socialist, pointing to Rep. Ocasio-Cortez’s efforts in turning away tech giant Amazon from her district.

“Your representative in Washington chooses self-promotion over service, conflict over constituents, resistance over assistance,” Murray said in her campaign video. “Queens and the Bronx needs someone who will create jobs instead of turning them away.”

Fox News confirmed Scherie Murray’s campaign launch in a phone interview, with the challenger telling them that “there is a crisis in Queens, and it’s called AOC.”

“And instead of focusing on us, she’s focusing on being famous,” Murray told Fox News. “Mainly rolling back progress and authoring the job-killing Green New Deal and killing the Amazon-New York deal.”

She also pushed back on key legislative ideas backed by Rep. Ocasio-Cortez, stating that “a lot of people are happy with their current health insurance” when asked about “Medicare-for-All” and bashing the New York Democrat’s Green New Deal nonbinding resolution.

“We know that it certainly will kill jobs,” the Republican candidate said about the Green New Deal.

She also torched AOC’s brand of democratic socialism as being “far, far to the left” and said that her policies are “not connecting with everyday Americans.”

When asked if she supports President Trump, Scherie Murray stated that she does but found his controversial spat with Rep. Ocasio-Cortez and other progressive minority members of Congress “disgusting.”

“I think it’s disgusting, to be quite honest,” said the New York Republican candidate. “I think we are missing the point of why we’re elected to public office: to legislate on policy, to deliver results to those kitchen table issues that are affecting everyday Americans.”

She went on and said that she doesn’t believe President Trump to be a “racist” but that she would not have “worded” his recent tweets the way he did.

“Is that how I would have worded it? No. Do I think the president is a racist? No,” she said. “But I want to get back to the core of why we’re even talking about this – there is a crisis at our border.”

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez made headlines last election cycle when she unseated 20-year congressional veteran former Rep. Joe Crowley in the primary election for her district.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi just got called out after she was trashing the President on the House floor in a breach of decorum.

The House has some weird rules and Rep. Doug Collins just used them to trap Nancy Pelosi and delay her resolution condemning President Trump.

He demanded her words attacking President Trump to be officially stricken from the record.

Breitbart reported that Pelosi railed against President Trump during Tuesday’s debate on the House floor, promising that her caucus would continue to respond to the “disrespect” aimed at the fundamental diversity of America.

She accused Trump of legitimizing and increasing “fear” and “hatred” against people of color and attempted to shame lawmakers who are dismissing the Dems’ politically fueled resolution.

“It’s so sad because you would think that there would be a given that we would universally in this body just say ‘of course, of course,’” Nancy Pelosi said. “There is no excuse for any response to those words but a swift and strong, unified condemnation.”

“Every single member of this institution– Democratic and Republican– should join us in condemning the president’s racist tweets,” Pelosi continued.

“To do anything less would be a shocking rejection of our values and a shameful abdication of our oath of office to protect the American people,” she added, sparking boos from others in the room.

Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA) chimed in as Nancy Pelosi yielded the remainder of her time and asked if she wanted to rephrase her remarks.

“I have cleared my remarks with the parliamentarian before I read them,” Nancy Pelosi said flippantly as she walked off.

Fox News reporter that Chad Pegrum explained: “GOP GA Rep Collins asserts that Nancy Pelosi’s words broke decorum & demanded they be “taken down.””

“She will have to decide if her words are in order. If ruled out of order, Pelosi could be banned from speaking on the floor the rest of the day. Collins asked Pelosi to withdraw her words.” He wrote.

House Republican Conference Chairwoman Liz Cheney declared that the Republican Party’s opposition to the progressive, “socialist” Democrats was based on their “dangerous” policies, and not their race.

On Tuesday, Liz Cheney appeared on a press conference alongside House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, House Minority Whip Steve Scalise and House Education Committee ranking member Virginia Foxx and explained that the Republicans’ opposition to their “socialist colleagues” in the Democratic Party was based on the “content of their policies” and had “absolutely nothing to do with their gender, with their religion, or with their race.”

The House Republican Conference chairwoman’s remarks came after many lawmakers from both sides rebuked President Trump’s recent tweets alluded to members of the Democratic freshman “squad” — Reps. Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley — telling them to “go back” to their home countries.

“I want to make absolutely clear that our opposition to our socialist colleagues has absolutely nothing to do with their gender, with their religion, or with their race,” Liz Cheney declared. “It has to do with the content of their policies.”

She continued to say that her “socialist colleagues on the other side of the aisle” were “wrong” in their support of policies such as “partial-birth [and] late-term abortions,” a “federal $15 dollar minimum wage,” and those that “would eliminate all private health insurance” policies in America.

“So, no, our opposition to our colleagues and their beliefs has absolutely nothing to do with race, or gender, or religion,” Liz Cheney added. “We oppose them and their policies because their policies are dangerous and wrong, and would destroy America.”

In a Monday press release, Sen. Tim Scott called out both sides on the issue, saying that “aiming for the lowest common denominator will only divide our nation further.”

President Trump and Attorney General William Barr just made s big move in an attempt to end the immigrant crisis gripping on our southern border.

In a controversial move, the Dems are already screaming against and they will definitely sue, the President just issued a new rule that will end asylum from Central America.

The law is clear that we have the right and we have a duty to act to protect our country. AG Barr claims that the order is legal and will survive any challenges in court.

The Hill reported that according to a new rule published in the Federal Register, asylum seekers who pass through another country before reaching the U.S. will be ineligible for asylum when they reach the southern U.S. border.

The new rule, which is expected to go into effect on Tuesday, is likely to face a mountain of legal challenges.

Under the rule, asylum seekers who have been the victims of trafficking are granted exceptions. The new rule also allows exceptions for immigrants passing through countries that have not signed major international refugee treaties and for those immigrants who have been denied asylum in the countries they traveled through.

Attorney General Bill Barr defended the legality of the move in a statement on Monday.

“This Rule is a lawful exercise of authority provided by Congress to restrict eligibility for asylum,” AG Barr said in the statement.

“The United States is a generous country but is being completely overwhelmed by the burdens associated with apprehending and processing hundreds of thousands of aliens along the southern border.”

Acting Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan described the rule as an “interim” measure until Congress can act.

The move to restrict protections for most Central American asylum seekers is the latest effort by Trump’s administration to attempt to curb the number of people crossing the southern border.

The administration has attempted many times to place restrictions on the number of immigrants who can apply for asylum per day and where they must await a resolution, but most of the attempts have been blocked in court.

The Washington Examiner reported that Holywood actress Alyssa Milano implied in a tweet that Vice President Mike Pence was on the same moral plane as the leading Nazi who orchestrated the Holocaust.

On Saturday, the liberal activist posted a 1941 photo of Heinrich Himmler surveying a Soviet POW camp with another photo of Mike Pence inspecting the conditions of a U.S. immigrant detention facility in McAllen, Texas.

Alyssa Milano offered no commentary other than a photo credit for the second picture.

Milano’s post on Twitter continues the escalating rhetoric that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez began last month, in which she compared the U.S. detention facilities on the southern border to concentration camps.

Her comparison drew bipartisan denunciation, as well as condemnation from the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, which issued a statement critical of such comparisons last month.

“The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum unequivocally rejects efforts to create analogies between the Holocaust and other events, whether historical or contemporary.” the museum stated.

“That position has repeatedly and unambiguously been made clear in the Museum’s official statement on the matter – a statement that is reiterated and reaffirmed now,” they said.

“The Museum further reiterates that a statement ascribed to a Museum staff historian regarding recent attempts to analogize the situation on the United States southern border to concentration camps in Europe during the 1930s and 1940s does not reflect the position of the Museum.” They added.
