New Leak Reveals More Details About President Trump’s Get Well Call To Hospitalized Jerry Nadler

A new leak coming from the Democrats shows President Donald Trump in an entirely different and positive light.

A few weeks ago Jerry Nadler fell ill. It was caught on video and it was a troubeling moment. Now we are learning that Jerry Nadler had to spend the night in the hospital.

We also learned that the President called Nadler to offer words of encouragement, telling his long-time political foe that he was tough and would get through the health scare. The President also offered to help in any way he could.

Yahoo reported that President Trump put aside his sharp political differences with one of his primary congressional tormentors and made a get-well call to Rep. Jerry Nadler, who was briefly hospitalized in Manhattan in May.

On May 24, Jerry Nadler was at an event promoting speed cameras at a school in Manhattan when he appeared to grow faint. Sitting next to him, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio offered him water, but the 71-year-old congressman remained apparently dazed. Medical professionals were summoned, and an ambulance transported him to Lenox Hill Hospital, where he spent the night.

His staff later stated that Nadler had suffered from dehydration, probably caused by the temperature in the crowded gymnasium. They also stated that there were no serious medical conditions from which Jerry Nadler had been suffering. “Hospital was just a precaution,” one of his staffer told Yahoo News.

But while at Lenox Hill, Jerry Nadler received an unexpected call, from President Trump. The call has not previously been reported.

Trump and Nadler are both 70-something New Yorkers, but that has hardly brought them together in Washington. In fact, the two have been political enemies since the ’80s, when Trump sought to initiate a major real estate project on the West Side of Manhattan, which Jerry Nadler represents. Nadler and much of the community opposed the development. They ultimately prevailed.

Recently, as chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Jerry Nadler has led key investigations into President Trump’s administration. If House Democrats move to impeach President Trump — which Speaker Pelosi has resisted so far — Jerry Nadler would be crucial to that effort.

Those considerations, however, were put aside at least momentarily, in favor of more human considerations, according to several people familiar with the contents of the call. A member of Jerry Nadler’s staff who would only speak on the condition of anonymity said President Trump called Nadler from Air Force One as he was on his way to Japan.

The two of them had last spoken in 2017, about the Gateway project, a series of long-planned upgrades to train tunnels linking Manhattan to New Jersey and serving the entire Northeast Corridor.

The President now told Rep. Nadler that he had seen him on TV, and that he thought Nadler was “tough.” The President repeated that assessment several times, adding that he wished the congressman well and wanted to know if he could do anything more. The two men did not discuss politics or impeachment, according to a person familiar with the call.

The White House declined to comment on the record, but the seeming warmth of the conversation — however brief — contrasts sharply with what President Trump has said previously of Nadler. In a meeting with Republicans this spring, President Trump reportedly called Rep. Nadler, who underwent weight-loss surgery years ago, “Fat Jerry.”

President Trump Claims Mueller ‘Made a Fool of Himself’ During Recent Press Conference – Slams Pelosi With a New Nickname

President Trump blasted Robert Mueller for making a “fool” out of himself with his public statement in a recent press conference.

During his visit to Normandy, France to commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day, President Trump spoke to Fox News’ Laura Ingraham about the special counsel Mueller’s very brief news conference last week.

“Let me tell you, he made such a fool out of himself … because what people don’t report is the letter he had to do to straighten out his testimony because his testimony was wrong,” the President said on “The Angle,” apparently referring to Robert Mueller’s comments about him not being charged with obstruction of justice because of Justice Department policies.

“Charging the president with a crime was not an option we could consider,” Robert Mueller claimed, noting that a sitting president cannot be indicted.

“If we had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said that. … We concluded that we would not reach a determination one way or the other about whether the president committed a crime,” Mueller said.

His remarks set Democrats up in arms as they claimed he contradicted the summary and comments from Attorney General Barr who concluded that, as Robert Mueller didn’t find there was any obstruction of justice offense by President Trump, there was also no evidence to support the charge.

Justice Department spokeswoman Kerri Kupec and spokesman for the special counsel Peter Carr issued a joint statement following Robert Mueller’s press conference in order to present a united message from both their offices.

“The Attorney General has previously stated that the Special Counsel repeatedly affirmed that he was not saying that, but for the [Office of Legal Counsel] opinion, he would have found the President obstructed justice…”

“The Special Counsel’s report and his statement today made clear that the office concluded it would not reach a determination – one way or the other – about whether the President committed a crime,” they said. “There is no conflict between these statements.”

When asked where he stands on the possibility of Robert Mueller testifying to Congress, President Trump turned his attention on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

“Nancy Pelosi, I call her Nervous Nancy, Nancy Pelosi doesn’t talk about it,” the President said about the joint statement. “Nancy Pelosi is a disaster, ok? She’s a disaster. Let her do what she wants, you know what? I think they’re in big trouble.”

Even though members of her own party have been clamoring for President Trump’s impeachment, especially in light of Robert Mueller’s report, Nancy Pelosi hasn’t fully joined them. However, the California Democrat reportedly acknowledged that she would rather see President Trump defeated at the polls in 2020 and then face jail time for the crimes he allegedly committed.

“I don’t want to see him impeached; I want to see him in prison,” Nancy Pelosi was quoted as saying by anonymous sources. Trump, however, tweeted last week that “Democrats can’t impeach a Republican President for crimes committed by Democrats.”

Trump Shoots Back At The Democrats – Demands Sanctions Over Their Sham Lawsuit

President Donald Trump is on a roll and has his opposition right where he wants it. Even though establishment (both parties) has thrown everything but the kitchen sink at the President to take him down.

They have failed and now President Trump is going on the offensive. Many more aggressive moves like this are expected to come from Trump’s team as he pivots from being the one under siege to the one exerting on the pressure. Remember, AG Barr will announce the results from his investigation and it does not look good for James Comey and the gang. The tide has definitely turned.

The Hill reported that President Trump’s campaign is requesting that a federal court sanction the Democratic National Committee over its sham lawsuit alleging that the Trump campaign conspired with Russia to interfere in the 2016 election, citing special counsel Mueller’s report.

In a court filing on Tuesday, Trump campaign attorneys said Mueller’s findings show that the campaign did not collude with Russia to interfere in the election, and that the charges against them should be dismissed and the DNC sanctioned as a result.

“In an over-400-page Report, the Special Counsel not only explains that his investigation ‘did not establish’ any such conspiracy or coordination, but debunks any such conclusion by walking through the vast body of evidence that his Office collected and establishing that none of this evidence showed that the Campaign formed any sort of agreement with Russia,” the court filing reads.

“In so doing, the Report makes clear that the DNC will never be able to prove the key allegations underlying all of its claims against the Campaign.”

Calling the lawsuit “a politically motivated sham case,” the Trump’s campaign stated that the DNC is acting to move forward with the complaint “all in a doomed effort to prove a falsehood.”

“In short, since the DNC’s frivolous legal theories have now been exposed as resting on frivolous factual fantasies, these are two independent reasons to terminate this sham political litigation before it does even more harm,” the filing reads.

President Trump’s campaign is asking that the claims against them be dismissed permanently, and for the Democrats to reimburse them for all legal fees and costs caused by the lawsuit. It’s also asking that oral arguments be held over whether sanctions should be issued.

On Wednesday, the DNC pointed to a letter the committee sent to the campaign earlier this month and obtained by Courthouse News, which indicates that it will not give up the legal fight against Trump’s campaign in light of Robert Mueller’s report.

“[T]he Special Counsel’s Report does not ‘refute’ the DNC’s claim that the Trump Campaign conspired with Russia. Rather, the Report methodically compiles evidence that the Trump Campaign participated in Russia’s plan to interfere in the 2016 election,” DNC lawyer Joseph Sellers wrote in the letter on Sunday sent to Trump’s campaign.

Sellers stated that any attempt by President Trump’s campaign to pursue sanctions against the DNC would be “wholly groundless” and could ultimately result in sanctions be placed against the campaign.

Trump’s UK Supporters Surprise Him With Warm Welcome Outside The Palace As He Arrives For The State Visit

President Trump has some fans in the United Kingdom as a group of supporters gathered to cheer him on outside of Buckingham Palace.

President Trump is currently in the United Kingdom on a state visit by Queen Elizabeth’s invitation. As previously reported, President Trump is only the third president to be given the honor of the trip, which prompted many to protest.

However, there were some people outside the palace that didn’t mind sharing their support, and as the Washington Examiner reported, they sang “For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow” to welcome President Trump.

As the President was leaving the Buckingham Palace, supporters broke into chanting his name as well as “U.S.A.!”

As President Trump arrived, people gathered outside the gate trying to catch a glimpse of the helicopter, shouting out “he is here” and cheering.

Sporting “Make America Great Again” hats, some supporters were obviously excited over having President Trump in their homeland and shared their thoughts on how much they were looking forward to his visit.

Although not everyone gathered in front of the palace were fans of President Trump, the chants of his supporters were met with no push-back.

Part of the president’s visit will be to join in commemorative ceremonies for the anniversary of D-Day in London and Normandy. While the state visit is ceremonial and President Trump will not be addressing political issues with leaders, some are dissatisfied that he was given that privilege.

A senior administration official claimed that there “is no better time to have a state visit to the United Kingdom than the 75th anniversary of D-Day.” Still not everyone agrees, with protesters planning an event outside the Palace for Tuesday.

“The UK should be turning its back on Trump’s harmful and divisive politics and not honoring his agenda with a state visit. We will be standing up to normalizing a racist, misogynist, Islamophobic leader who is a climate crisis denier,” claimed Mohammed Ateek, who is part of The Stop Trump Coalition.

Although they are expecting thousands of participants to show their support, the group of Trump supporters showed that not everyone shares the protesters opinion.

Trump Surprised About Meghan Markle’s ‘Nasty’ Comments – Still Wishes Her Well Ahead Of His UK Visit

It doesn’t look like President Trump is going to be seeing much of Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, during his upcoming state visit.

Ahead of President Trump’s visit to the U.K., the former Meghan Markle’s past remarks prior to becoming part of the royal family criticizing President Trump surfaced, drawing speculation over his time there.

As reports say, the American-born now-turned-royal Meghan previously made a few jokes about switching residency to Canada if Donald Trump were elected during the 2016 presidential election, as she called him “divisive” and “misogynistic.”

However, that does not seem to be the reason why Meghan won’t be meeting with President. Meghan is currently on maternity leave after welcoming her and Prince Harry’s newborn baby, Archie Harrison, to the world.

Nonetheless, the President caught wind of Meghan’s past criticism, as he told The Sun in the Oval Office that he “didn’t know” about her “nasty” comments from before.

“I didn’t know that. What can I say?” President Trump said. “I didn’t know that she was nasty.”

The President was also told he wouldn’t be visiting with the duchess.

“I didn’t know that,” the president said in response. “I hope she is OK.”

President Trump decided not to strike back at Meghan. Instead, the President opted to wish her well as she is now part of the royal family.

“It is nice, and I am sure she will do excellently,” Trump said. “She will be very good. I hope she does (succeed).”

During President Trump’s visit to the U.K., he will also discuss environmental issues with Prince Charles, who he claims that he likes.

“We will be talking. I can say we have among the cleanest climate in the world right now. Our air and water are doing very well. We hope other countries can do so well. You know, it is a big atmosphere and frankly if one country is going to be bad and other countries going to be good, the country that is good gets penalised. Which is unfair.” Trump said.

The President joined by the first lady, is also expected to meet with Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Harry for a private lunch during the visit.

Joe Biden Slams President Trump For Taking Shots At Him Overseas – Forgets He Did The Same Thing Few Months Earlier

Former Vice President and 2020 Democratic presidential primary candidate Joe Biden went after President Trump for taking shots at him while on his trip to Japan but forgot that he did the same thing while speaking in Germany earlier this year.

While he was on a state visit to Japan, President Trump opened fire at Joe Biden on Monday, agreeing with the Kim Jong Un’s attack on the former vice president where he called him a “low IQ individual.”

“Kim Jong Un made a statement that Joe Biden is a low IQ individual. He probably is based on his record. I think I agree with him on that,” President Trump said.

Joe Biden also shot back at President Trump, with his presidential campaign spokeswoman releasing a statement attacking the President for going after the former vice president “on foreign soil” and “sid[ing] repeatedly with a murderous dictator” and saying it was “beneath the dignity of the office.”

“To be on foreign soil, on Memorial Day, and to side repeatedly with a murderous dictator against a fellow American and former Vice President speaks for itself. And it’s part of a pattern of embracing autocrats at the expense of our institutions – whether taking Putin’s word at face value in Helsinki or exchanging ‘love letters’ with Kim Jong Un.”

However, a statement like this coming from Joe Biden’s campaign doesn’t coop with the fact that he took veiled shots at the President while speaking in Germany earlier this year.

Joe Biden said that he believes the U.S under President Trump’s policies is “an embarrassment,” while speaking at the Munich Security Conference before he announced his candidacy for office.

“The America I see values basic human decency, not snatching children from their parents or turning our back on refugees at our border,” Biden stated. “Americans know that’s not right. The American people understand plainly that this makes us an embarrassment. The American people know, overwhelmingly, that it is not right. That it is not who we are.”

Joe Biden is currently embattled in a huge Democratic primary field where he counts as one of 23 Democrats – and Senator Bernie Sanders – vying for the Democratic party’s nomination. Biden and Sanders are considered front-runners in the race.

Actor Jon Voight Claims Trump Is ‘The Greatest President Since Abraham Lincoln’

On Friday night, Actor Jon Voight released a two-part video to Twitter showing his support for President Donald Trump and decrying the left’s “absurd words of destruction.”

“People of the Republican Party,” Voight began, “I know that you’ll agree with me when I say our president has our utmost respect and our love. This job is not easy, for he’s battling the left and their absurd words of destruction.”

“I’ve said this once and I’ll say this again, that our nation has been built on the solid ground from our forefathers and there is a moral code of duty that has been passed on from President Lincoln.” He continued.

“I’m here today to acknowledge the truth, and I’m here today to tell my fellow Americans that our country is stronger, safer, and with more jobs because our president has made his every move correct.”

The conservative actor implored viewers to not “be fooled by the political left” because the American people are “witnessing triumph.”

“So let us stand with our president,” Jon Voight concluded. “Let us stand for this truth that President Trump is the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln. God bless America, and may God continue to guide this nation.”

Jon Voight, one of few actors in Hollywood that supports President Trump, rose to fame after playing Joe Buck in 1969’s “Midnight Cowboy.”

His long list of movie credits include more than a few iconic films like: “Anaconda,” ”Mission: Impossible,” “Eternity,” “Heat,” “The Champ,” “The Manchurian Candidate,” “National Treasure,” “Beyond ,” and many others.

Most recently, the actor plays U.S. Supreme Court Justice Warren Burger in an upcoming film about Roe v. Wade.

Nancy Pelosi Claims She Will ‘Pray’ For President Trump After He Slammed Democrats In Surprise Presser

On Wednesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stated that she intends to pray for President Trump following a surprise press conference he held demanding Democrats quit investigating him.

President Trump cut short a scheduled infrastructure meeting with the Dems this afternoon after Nancy Pelosi alleged this morning that President Trump is involved in a “cover-up.”

Trump claimed he would not continue negotiating an infrastructure deal until the Dems stopped their sweeping investigations into his administration and alleged collusion with Russia.

Pelosi stated in a press conference that President Trump may have had a “lack of confidence” in negotiating the deal and suggested he used her remarks about a “cover-up” as an excuse to avoid the meeting.

“Maybe it was lack of confidence on his part that he really couldn’t match the greatness of the challenge that we have — wasn’t really respectful of the Congress and the White House working together. He just took a pass,” Pelosi said.

“It just makes me wonder why he did that. In any event, I pray for the President of the United States.” She continued.

“We went in the spirit of bipartisanship to find common ground with the president. He came into the room, made a statement — I won’t even characterize it,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said.

This was the second meeting related to infrastructure after the Dems and President Trump tentatively reached a $2 trillion deal last month. Last night, President Trump sent a letter to Nancy Pelosi and Schumer asking them to ratify the USMCA before passing an infrastructure bill.

Actor Jeff Daniels Claims If Trump Gets Re-elected In 2020 Democracy Will End

On Monday, Hollywood actor Jeff Daniels appeared on MSNBC and claimed that if President Trump gets re-elected in 2020, it would signal the end of democracy.

Jeff Daniels was on the show to discuss the upcoming election and how his role in the Broadway production of the 1960 book “To Kill A Mockingbird,” in which he plays the lead character Atticus Finch, is relevant to the current political climate in the United States.

“After the election, I was surprised some of the people, you know, I said, ‘Can you believe this election?’ And they go, ‘Yeah, isn’t it great?’ You’re going ‘Whoa.’ My wife’s on Facebook, we got another Trumper. You didn’t see it coming,” Jeff Daniels stated.

“Atticus [Finch] goes through this. I know these people. They’re good people. There are reasons why. He’s an apologist, he’s an enabler.” He continued.

“I think there are people in the mid-west, between the coasts, who don’t care about this, don’t have time for this, who have to make a decision now. You have to decide whether, like Atticus, you believe there is still compassion, decency, civility, respect for others, do unto others, remember that? Do unto others.”

“All that stuff you guys believe in and you still voted not for Hillary, for Trump, where are you now? Your kids are looking up at you going, but he lies. I think there are a lot of people in the mid-west who are going – it might be enough for them.”

“We’ll find out if the big gamble is to go all the way to November 2020, which I agree, and lose, it’s the end of democracy.” The actor concluded.

Not one person on the panel pushed back at the claim that President Trump’s re-election would end democracy.

Instead, Nicolle Wallace brought up the fact that former FBI Director Comey went and saw the play back in January. She proceeded to read a text she received from James Comey about his thoughts on the play.

Later on in the segment, Jeff Daniels went on a tangent suggesting that people only supported President Trump because they wanted lower taxes and that “race” played a role in his support.

Trevor Noah Claims Trump Is The First U.S. President To ‘Actually Deliver’ On Promises

Trevor Noah said that President Trump is the first candidate to “actually deliver” on his promises — not that he’s going to be donning a “Make America Great Again” hat anytime soon.

The message came during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and what made it all even more surprising — no, Kimmel did not break down in tears.

Interestingly, Trevor Noah spoke about how Oprah Winfrey took control of his show when she appeared as a quest, explaining how she “walks around the building telling people how it’s going to go,” without realizing how this reflects on him.

After shameless mutual groveling over how great Oprah is, the conversation would eventually work around to President Donald Trump.

Noah expressed his concern about abortions “being criminalized in Alabama,” before he referenced when he first took over for Jon Stewart in 2015.

“One of the main things people said to me was, ‘You’re just not angry enough, Trevor. Where’s your indignation?’” Noah said, before praising President Barack Obama.

“But what do you have to be angry about?” he added. “Things are going great right now. Your economy is growing, your president is loved. There’s nothing to be angry about, there’s nothing to be stressed about right now.”

All of which would change in November 2016, according to Noah.

“Then, when Donald Trump was elected and proceeded to do the things that he had promised,” he said.

“Ironically, because it’s funny that Donald Trump would be the first presidential candidate to actually deliver, Noah continued. “Hate him or love him, he’s doing the things he said he was going to do.”

All of which has given his show a “purpose.”

The greater irony is how so many American voters are willing to accept politicians promising the moon just to get elected, only to abandon those promises when taking office.

Keeping his promises seems to be a high priority for President Donald Trump, and as the Washington Post’s Marc A. Thiessen detailed last year, the President is making good on many of them.
