New Book Reveals Trump And Melania Have Very Long Private Dinners Together

A new book sheds some light on the private life of Americas first family and it suggests that, while President Trump and First Lady Melania appear to rarely have time to spend together, they actually have very long private dinners during their trips to Mar-a-Lago.

According to the book titled, “Mar-a-Lago: Inside the Gates of Power at Donald Trump’s Presidential Palace” by author Laurence Leamer, part-time Palm Beach, Florida resident, the first couple spend lengthy dinners together, sometimes lasting over “three hours” when the Trumps are at the resort on the weekends, per CNN on Monday.

“What married couple spends three hours together alone at dinner?” Leamer asked. “They’re there so long, other people are leaving and they’re just … there.”

“They dine for hours,” he added. “He likes a small table, a four-person table, so people can come over to say ‘hello’ but there’s not enough room to invite people to join.”

Leamer continued, “It’s extraordinary for what a public personality Trump is that part of him is very private, and so is she. I am talking in the sense he and she don’t necessarily like interlopers. Trump has always got to be the center of attention, so if you go to someone else’s party, he’s not always going to be that.”

“She [Melania] is on his arm, spectacularly dressed, even if just for the members to see,” Leamer said. “Mar-a-Lago is the one place where he feels truly relaxed, he feels comfortable there — and I think that’s true of her as well.”

“Those two will go and sit at dinner, and they are in the most in-depth conversations, and will talk and sit there for hours, literally,” a White House official shared with the outlet.

At one point during the interview, Leamer spoke about how First Lady Melania uses her time at the resort as a place to relax away from the chaos in Washington.

“She has a long history with Palm Beach, yes, but she stays to herself for most part,” Leamer explained. “All these ladies in Palm Beach, they go to Worth Avenue to shop, they dress up and they pay these exorbitant prices for clothes and things, and that’s part of the scene. That’s what they do here, that’s the life. But not Melania Trump.”

Tom Cotton Blats SPLC – Calls Them A Hate Group & Suggests They Lose Tax-Exempt Status

On Tuesday, Republican Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton made an interview with Tucker Carlson and laid out his plan to end the tax-exempt status of the Southern Poverty Law Center.

CNN reported that the non-profit recently had to replace its CEO for “inappropriate conduct.” In addition to recent workplace difficulties, the Center also parks a great portion of it’s funds and endowment in overseas markets, a fact that Cotton asserted was the reason it earned an “F” rating from Charity Watch.

“I don’t know many charities that send their endowment overseas. Charity Watch gives them an F rating. They have become a hate group themselves and use that to stigmatize opponents. There are plenty of groups on the left I don’t agree with, but I don’t stigmatize them as a hate group and peddle that to CNN and the New York Times,” Cotton began.

After calling on Congress to investigate them, Cotton calmly exclaimed, “Talk about misusing funds! The founder was paid $400,000 a year. They do nothing other than sexually harass young women working in the Southern Poverty Law Center.”

The Arkansas Senator sent a letter to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requesting that auditors re-asses the group’s tax-exempt status because of their multiple alleged transgressions.

“The letter I sent today is just the first step I am taking to get the IRS focused on this serious problem. A so-called charity that has racism and sexual discrimination problems. It’s using that money to target political opponents. That’s not what American taxpayers are subsidizing with tax-exempt status. Not to sexually harass every woman in your office and discriminate against migrants,” Cotton continued.

Senator Cotton’s letter to the IRS compels the government not to support a group that, in his opinion, attacks political opponents with such ease.

“I am writing to urge you to investigate whether the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) should retain its classification as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization,” wrote Cotton to IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig. “Recent news reports have confirmed the long-established fact that the SPLC regularly engages in defamation of its political opponents. In fact, the SPLC’s defining characteristic is to fundraise off of defamation.”

“This business model has paid well. The SPLC has accrued more than $500 million in assets,” Cotton asserted.

“According to the group’s most recent financial statement, it holds $121 million offshore in non-U.S. equity funds. The SPLC uses these assets to pay its executives lavish salaries, far higher than the comparable household average.” he concluded.

Ex-WH Adviser Valerie Jarrett Complained The Obama White House Had Too ‘Macho’ Atmosphere

Former White House adviser Valerie Jarrett wrote in her new book that she complained that there was a “general macho atmosphere” in the Obama White House.

Jarrett explained that after she noticed that the overall dynamic in the West Wing was “causing women to feel uncomfortable,” she took former President Obama aside and confronted him about the problem.

“If you notice, in meetings, the women rarely talk,” Jarrett reportedly told the president.

“And when you aren’t there to ask their opinion, they are becoming increasingly mute.” she added.

After Jarrett said that, Ex-President Obama invited a number of the senior women to the White House in response and discussed how they could make things better over dinner.

During an appearance on Tuesday’s “The View” to promote her book Jarrett also took the opportunity to come out in defense of former Vice President Joe Biden.

“I don’t think we should be disqualifying people,” she said. “Let him run. That’s part of what being in a democracy is all about.”

Joe Biden has been accused of inappropriate behavior by two women, complicating his potential run for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.

Meghan McCain Comes Clean On ‘The View’ During a Heated Argument: ‘Trump Will Be Re-Elected In 2020’

It’s not very unusual for things to heat up between the ladies of “The View” but this time after it was questioned whether the American people understand socialism, co-host Meghan McCain concluded that Democratic socialists are the reason President Donald Trump is going to get re-elected in 2020.

Tuesday’s “The View” consisted of a fiery discussion, starting with the hosts talking about a poll which shows that most Americans are okay with a homosexual candidate, but fewer Americans being okay with a socialist president.

This discussion quickly turned into co-host Behar wondering if Americans understand the meaning of socialism which McCain swiped back at, saying, “People are smart.” Behar countered that she disagrees socialism is a “bad thing” ahead of 2020.

“I miss Whoopi [Goldberg] when she’s not here,” an exasperated McCain said.

Then, the heat continued dialing up.

“I’m just trying to explain to you the other side … and why Democratic Socialists could be leading you toward the path of Trump getting re-elected,” McCain said.

“Instead, I’m told I don’t understand what Democratic Socialism is. I assure you, Joy, I do.” she added.

During Tuesday’s show, there was another segment where Behar claimed former President Barack Obama’s presidency was “completely scandal-free,” prompting McCain to swipe back.

McCain blasted the idea of Obama’s administration viewed as “pristine, scandal-free, perfect administration that never did anything wrong.”

When Hostin also claimed Obama’s administration was “scandal-free,” McCain then reiterated her warning how President Donald Trump would get re-elected.

“I’m telling you. It is how we got Trump and it’s how you’re going to re-elect him,” McCain said. “And when he’s re-elected, which at this point, I believe he is going to be, I hope you’ll listen to the points that I have given you.”

On Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders called Nadler, Schiff and the crazed Democrats “sore losers” when she was asked about their mission to obtain Mueller’s full, unredacted report.

A reporter asked Press Secretary Sarah Sanders why the President said releasing Mueller’s report would not satisfy top House Democrats Nadler and Schiff.

“The President is right. They [Democrats] will never be satisfied — they’re sore losers,” Sanders said.

“They lost in 2016. They lost because they tried to convince all of America of something that we all knew was untrue, that the president had colluded with Russia. It was a total lie then. It’s a total lie now.”

Many House Democrats are geatung ready to subpoena Mueller’s full report without any redactions, the underlying documents as well as documents from five ex-Trump aides in a potential series of legal showdowns.

Tuesday is the deadline House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler has set for the delivery of Mueller’s full report without redactions and since he will not be receiving the report, the Democrats will hold a vote to authorize subpoena on Wednesday.

Which means that instead of serving their constituents, House Democrats choose to use valuable time and resources to keep peddling the Trump-Russia collusion canard.

DNC Chair Tom Perez Calls All Trump Supporters ‘Cowards’ And Warns That ‘They Will Be Judged Harshly’

DNC Chair Tom Perez slammed Republican lawmakers and everyone who’ve supported President Trump as “cowards” who “will be judged harshly.”

The head of the Democratic National Committee dropped his name-calling on Monday during a talk at Brandeis University’s Heller School for Social Policy and Management, calling out those who haven’t challenged President Trump on his agenda.

“They are cowardly,” Perez said during a conversation on “Progressive Policy in the Trump Era.”

“History will not only judge Donald Trump harshly, it will judge [Senate Majority Leader] Mitch McConnell, [former House Speaker] Paul Ryan and all the other cowards who refuse to stand up to this president and allowed the party of Lincoln to die,” he told Dean David Weil.

“They will be judged harshly, because whatever he says, goes right now,” the former Obama-era secretary of labor added, as he also took a shot at another Republican senator.

“Look at Lindsey Graham – it’s pathetic,” he said, as reported by Townhall.

Perez recently caught the media’s attention when he announced a ban on Fox News from hosting any Democratic Party presidential debates, pointing to “the inappropriate relationship between President Trump, his administration and Fox News.”

Not long after he was elected as DNC chairman, Perez unloaded in a foul-mouthed rant that Donald Trump “didn’t win the election.”

During his Monday talk, Perez continued to slam the President as he gave his thoughts about the 2016 election.

Townhall reported, Dean David Weil also asked Perez to analyze the 2016 election a bit more and explain to the audience how Trump became president. Perez admitted that the Democrats didn’t do their part in organizing and maintaining President Obama supporters in swing states. Yet, he added that voters were unfortunately persuaded by Trump’s lofty promises that he’d bring their jobs back.

“He said he had your back but actually he had a knife in your back.”

“He twisted it again last week,” complained Perez, blaming Republicans for not opposing President Trump’s plan to end the Affordable Care Act while they passed “the most reckless tax cut in American history” last year.

His comments Monday on the “cowards” who support Trump sparked a huge backlash on Twitter where Trump supporters dared Perez to “bring it on.”


“Cowardly? Trump has to fight for everything he does, and we’re fighting right along with him. Trump is not a coward, and neither are his supporters. As far as being judged harshly… for what? For protecting American citizens, and trying to MAGA?” said another tweet.

Liz Cheney Slams Ocasio-Cortez Offering to ‘Introduce’ Her To ‘The Basics Of The Constitution’

On Monday, House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney flattened freshman Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in a Twitter battle.

Ocasio-Cortez faced backlash after she claimed that Republicans pushed the 22nd Amendment, which set a two-term limit on the White House, to force former President Franklin D. Roosevelt out, even though it passed years after his in-office death.

“They had to amend the Constitution of the United States to make sure Roosevelt did not get reelected,” claimed Ocasio-Cortez.

Jut a reminder, FDR died in office in 1945, the 22nd Amendment came in 1947.

Because of her historical flub, Twitter users jumped to correct her and mock the statement, including Cheney.

Cheney jabbed Democrats for opposing stricter voter identification laws, making the old joke that dead people always vote Democrat.

Ocasio-Cortez didn’t take too long to respond to the insult. She quickly got back on Twitter and posted an article that defended her 22nd Amendment hot-take. The Democratic congresswoman bashed her Republican colleague, claiming that Cheney gets her news from online memes.

“I see from your dead people comment that you get your news from Facebook memes, but the National Constitution Center + Newsweek are just two of many places where you can clarify your misunderstanding of the history of the 22nd Amendment.” she wrote on Twitter.

Ocasio-Cortez posted a link to an article from Newsweek that attempted to defend her 22nd Amendment history. Newsweek wrote that the planning for the amendment started before Roosevelt left office. Still, that article and Ocasio-Cortez were slammed for being incorrect on social media.

While people immediately jumped in to defend Cheney, it probably wasn’t necessary because she had her own awesome response to fire back at Ocasio-Cortez, using a clip from the “School House Rock.”

This isn’t the first time that Liz Cheney has criticized Ocasio-Cortez on Twitter.

During Presideni Trump’s State of the Union address, Cheney slammed Ocasio-Cortez and her colleagues for refusing to stand during many moments of the speech.

It’s more than clear that, these two congresswomen won’t be seeing eye-to-eye anytime soon.

Mick Mulvaney Praises Trump’s Foreign Aid Cuts: ‘If It Is Working so Well, Why Are the People Still Coming?’

White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney tore apart critics who said that cuts to the current level of foreign aid some Central American countries could tamper the migrant crisis the United States faces at it’s border.

Mulvany defended the President’s decision to cut foreign aid to Central American countries, including Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador, a move that has been widely criticized from the Dems and mainstream media.

People like Sen. Bob Menendez claimed the cuts could hurt the United States interests in the region, saying, “U.S. foreign assistance is not charity; it advances our strategic interests and funds initiatives that protect American citizens.”

Mulvaney appeared on CNN’s “State of the Union” with host Jake Tapper and addressed the critics of the decision and questioned why they believe the current level of funding is actually helping our country’s interests at all.

“There’s a lot of good ways to help solve this problem [at the border]. Congress could do it, but they’re not going to. Mexico could help us do it, they need to do a little more. Honduras could do more. Nicaragua could do more. El Salvador could do more. And if we’re going to give these countries hundreds of millions of dollars, we would like them to do more.” he said.

Mulvaney stated that it’s not an “unreasonable position” for the Trump administration to want to see more of an effort from Central America to address and fix their own issues.

“We could prevent a lot of what’s happening at the southern border by preventing people from moving into Mexico in the first place,” Mulvaney argued.

Host Tapper also urged that foreign aid in Central America does help to keep people migrating at all by boosting regional stability, but Mulvaney pushed back on that point.

“If it’s working so well, why are the people still coming?” asked Mulvaney. “Why are these historic numbers? Again, 100,000 people will cross the border this month alone. That is a crisis. It’s a humanitarian crisis; it’s a security crisis.”

Mulvaney pointed to recent numbers released by the Department of Homeland Security, outlining the spike in apprehensions at our southern border.

The White House chief of staff explained that many of the same people criticizing the decision to cut foreign aid thought the White House was “exaggerating” the problem at the border just few months ago during the government shutdown.

DHS Officials Are Warning That An ‘Illegal Immigration Superhighway’ Has Formed in Mexico & Could Bring Caravan Of 20,000 Migrants

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) continues to alarm the public about the crisis at the southern border, a crisis that now includes an “illegal immigrant superhighway” that could wreak havoc for United States immigration officials and their very limited resources.

DHS previously stated that more than 100,000 migrants were apprehended in March alone. But because the detention centers used by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) are at full capacity, Border Patrol was forced to release many thousands of immigrants into the United States.

The immigrants that’re not released on our soil are kept in ICE facilities where they often receive medical treatment. As many as 2,000 migrants receive medical attention per month, immigration officials reported.

The influx of immigrant families in March put a big strain on resources at our southern border, but it does not look like immigration officials are going to catch a break anytime soon.

One senior DHS official stated that immigrants have been barreling through Mexico from many Central American countries en route to the United States, telling the Washington Times, “The result is an illegal immigration superhighway that’s flowing through Mexico.”

Mexican officials echoed that sentiment, noting that a new caravan of around 20,000 immigrants is currently on its way to their north border.

This “superhighway” is one of the most important reasons the President announced foreign aid cuts to Central America for putting forward more effort to deter immigrants. White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney stated that he wants to see more effort put forward by these countries to help the United States address the crisis at the border.

“There’s a lot of good ways to help solve this problem [at the border]. Congress could do it, but they’re not going to. Mexico could help us do it, they need to do a little more. Honduras could do more. Nicaragua could do more. El Salvador could do more. And if we’re going to give these countries hundreds of millions of dollars, we would like them to do more.”

On Monday morning, President Donald Trump made a similar call to Democrats on Twitter, asking them to work with Republicans to reform the asylum process in the United States so that migrants are not just released into the country when detention facilities reach capacity.

Other Republicans echoed President Donald Trump’s points, calling for Democrats to take a serious look at our southern border and make the right decision.

Trey Gowdy Sums Up Why CIA May Stop Giving Adam Schiff Information: He Leaks ‘Like A Screen-Door On A Submarine’

This Sunday, Former Republican South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy made a prediction that the U.S. intelligence community might stop providing information to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff because he leaks “like a screen door on a submarine.”

Rep. Trey Gowdy was asked to weigh in on Republicans’ decision Thursday to call on Schiff to step down as chairman of the House panel.

“Never seen that before,” said Gowdy, who served on the intelligence panel until January before leaving Congress. “We never voted to remove or ask a chairperson to step down.”

“Adam is a deeply partisan person. He did everything he could to make sure Hillary Clinton became president. And he’s done everything he could to keep a cloud over the Trump presidency,” Gowdy said of Schiff.

Gowdy suggested that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi could potentially act to remove Schiff as chairman of the committee. He also stated that the CIA and other intelligence community agencies could withhold intelligence from him.

“The next thing that’s going to happen is the … different intelligence entities are going to say, ‘You know what, Chairman Schiff, if you don’t believe the information we provide to you … if you have the president of the United States, not just indicted but in jail and you continue to leak like a screen door on a submarine, we’re going to quit giving you information,’” said Gowdy.

“That’s when Pelosi will replace Adam Schiff with someone like [Connecticut Rep.] Jim Himes, who is someone who is a smarter and a lot more reasonable.”

Adam Schiff was a prominent voice among Democrats accusing the President and his administration of colluding with Russians to influence the 2016 election. Back in May 2017, he said he had seen “more than circumstantial evidence” of collusion.

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s evidence appear to be different. In a report delivered to the Justice Department on March 22, he stated that prosecutors “did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”

Schiff has long been accused of leaking information to the media regarding the Russia probe.

Donald Trump Jr. has accused Schiff of leaking an inaccurate story about him back in December 2017. During Trump Jr.’s private testimony before the House Intelligence Committee, CNN broke a story that he had received an email in September 4, 2016, that included a link to WikiLeaks materials.

The story suggested that Trump Jr. received WikiLeaks documents before they were released to the public. But CNN’s sources turned out to be very wrong. The email was actually dated September 14, 2016, a day after the information was published.
